Éguelshardt (French pronunciation: [eɡəlsaʁt]; German: Egelshardt; Lorraine Franconian: Egelshat) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The village belongs to the Pays de Bitche and to the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park.

The Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park (French: Parc naturel régional des Vosges du Nord) is a protected area of woodland, wetland, farmland and historical sites in the region Grand Est in northeastern France. The area was officially designated as a regional natural park in 1976.At its inauguration, the park covered a total area of 120,000 hectares (300,000 acres), but it has since grown to 130,500 hectares (322,000 acres).The rich natural landscape has been added to the UNESCO list of international biosphere reserves.Northern Vosges PNR does not include any of the Vosges Mountains but rather the foothills just north of them. No part of it lies in the department of Vosges but rather it spans two other departments, Bas-Rhin and Moselle.

Haspelschiedt (French pronunciation: [aspəlʃit]; German: Haspelscheidt; Lorraine Franconian: Haschbelschitt) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The population in 2018 was 301 inhabitants.

The Altschlossfelsen (French: Rochers du Vieux Château, "Old Castle Rocks") is a rock outcrop formed of bunter sandstone in the Palatine Forest of Germany, near the border with France. The 1,500-metre-long rock wall is located on a hill known as the Brechenberg near Eppenbrunn, 406 m above sea level (NHN). Discoveries from the Hallstatt and Roman period and evidence of a medieval castle from the 11th or 12th century bear witness to earlier settlement. The Altschlossfelsen is well known because of its many, diversely shaped rocks, caused by weathering, and its rare lichens. At the start of the rock sequence are two mighty sandstone towers. A popular footpath runs along the foot of the rocks that continues to the village of Roppeviller in French Lorraine.

Roppeviller (French pronunciation: [ʁɔpvilɛʁ]; German: Roppweiler; Lorraine Franconian: Roppwiller) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The village belongs to the Pays de Bitche and to the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. A path from the village runs up to the Altschlossfelsen rocks, a popular walking destination, on the hill of Brechenberg on the German side of the border.

Eppenbrunn is a municipality in Südwestpfalz district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany and belongs to the municipal association Pirmasens-Land. Within the municipality is the 1.5 km long bunter sandstone formation called the Altschlossfelsen, which lies by the French border and was settled as early as Roman times.

The Gare de Bitche ("Bitche station", German: Bahnhof Bitsch), formerly Gare de Bitche-Ville ("Bitche city station"), is a railway station on the Haguenau–Hargarten-Falck line, located in the town of Bitche in the French department of Moselle. It was opened in 1869 by the Chemins de fer de l'Est and closed in 2014 by the SNCF along with the Sarreguemines–Bitche section of the railway line.
