Eppenbrunn

The Altschlossfelsen (French: Rochers du Vieux Château, "Old Castle Rocks") is a rock outcrop formed of bunter sandstone in the Palatine Forest of Germany, near the border with France. The 1,500-metre-long rock wall is located on a hill known as the Brechenberg near Eppenbrunn, 406 m above sea level (NHN). Discoveries from the Hallstatt and Roman period and evidence of a medieval castle from the 11th or 12th century bear witness to earlier settlement. The Altschlossfelsen is well known because of its many, diversely shaped rocks, caused by weathering, and its rare lichens. At the start of the rock sequence are two mighty sandstone towers. A popular footpath runs along the foot of the rocks that continues to the village of Roppeviller in French Lorraine.

Kettrichhof transmitter is a facility for FM- and TV-broadcasting at Kettrichhof, a village which is part of Lemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located at an elevation of 436 m (1,430 ft) a.s.l. The antenna support is a guyed mast of latticed steel with a square cross section which was built in 1985 and was originally 210 m (690 ft) tall. When new antennas were added in 2007, the height of the mast was increased to 236 m (774 ft). Reception of its signals is possible in an area spanning from the Eifel to Karlsruhe and Pforzheim and even in elevated locations on the Swabian Alb. On 4 December 2007, the TV transmitter was switched over to DVB-T, and DAB+ transmissions from Kettrichhof started on 9 September 2015.

The Rodalb, also called the Rodalbe, is a stream, just under 26 km (16 mi) long, in West Palatinate in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is an orographically left tributary of the Schwarzbach.

The Hohe List is a hill near Eppenbrunn, in the county of Südwestpfalz in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is 475.8 m high. The Hohe List is the third highest summit in the western part of the Wasgau, a cross-border region that includes the southern part of the Palatinate Forest and the northern part of the Vosges in France.

Roppeviller (French pronunciation: [ʁɔpvilɛʁ]; German: Roppweiler; Lorraine Franconian: Roppwiller) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The village belongs to the Pays de Bitche and to the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. A path from the village runs up to the Altschlossfelsen rocks, a popular walking destination, on the hill of Brechenberg on the German side of the border.

The Siegfried Line Museum at Pirmasens (German: Westwallmuseum Pirmasens) is a museum in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate that is housed in a former subterranean fortification on the edge of the village of Niedersimten in southwest Palatinate (region). Its theme is war, but it also views itself as a memorial to peace. It was founded by the Gerstfeldhöhe Society (Verein HGS Gerstfeldhöhe) and is run in cooperation with the town of Pirmasens.

Liederschiedt (French pronunciation: [lidəʁʃit]; German: Liederscheidt; Lorraine Franconian: Lirerschidt) is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The village belongs to the Pays de Bitche and to the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. It is located on the German border. It is situated on top of a large hill and surrounded mostly by forestry and farms that cover much of the area.
