Kronsee

Fuhlensee is a lake in Holstein Switzerland, in the North German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It lies on the River Schwentine between the Kronsee (upstream) and the Lanker See (downstream), south of Wahlstorf Manor House. It has a surface area of 0.14 km², is up to 6 metres deep and has an elevation of about 20 m above sea level (NN). There is a snack bar on the northern shore for boaters.

Wahlstorf is a village and municipality in the district (in German Kreis) of Plön, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is part of the Amt Preetz-Land.

The Lanker See is a lake in the region of Holstein Switzerland in North Germany. It lies south of the town of Preetz in the district of Plön, and is crossed from south to north by the River Schwentine. The Lanker See has wealth of small bays. Almost the entire western area from the lakeshore to the tracks of the Preetz-Ascheberg railway line are a nature reserve. The Lanker See has a surface area of 323.6 hectares (1.249 sq mi), is up to 21 metres deep and is about 19 m above sea level (NN). It is divided into a large northern and a smaller southern part, that are joined by a passage a little more than 1 metre deep. Without the islands its shore length is 17 km. The Lanker See lies in the borough of Preetz and the municipalities of Kühren, Wahlstorf and Schellhorn.

The Kirchsee is a lake in Plön district in the north German state of Schleswig-Holstein, in a region known as "Holstein Switzerland". The Kirchsee is the lake in the town centre of Preetz. The original settlement of Preetz is situated on its western shore. This is also the location of Preetz's town church, after which the lake is named. The Kirchsee is crossed by the River Schwentine, which flows from the south, from the Lanker See. The lake has an area of 10 hectares (25 acres), is up to 6 metres deep and lies at an elevation of about 20 m above sea level (NN). Today the lake is nearly surrounded by built-up areas.

The Arboretum Lehmkuhlen (50 hectares) is an arboretum maintained by the Guts- und Forstverwaltung Lehmkuhlen. It is located in Lehmkuhlen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and open by appointment only.The arboretum was created between 1911-1928 by Cosmos von Milde under Conrad Hinrich IV. Freiherr von Donner, who planted approximately 1500 tree specimens from around the world. Today the arboretum contains about 3200 individual plants of approximately 1000 specimens, including mature specimens of Abies grandis, Abies nordmanniana, Fraxinus ornus, Juglans ailantifolia, Mespilus germanica, Quercus alba, Quercus castaneifolia, Quercus dentata, and Quercus trojana. A municipal cemetery has been created in its northwestern corner.
