During the 20th century, Deyrolle was a Parisian institution for natural sciences and pedagogy. It is one of the best known companies of entomology and taxidermy of Paris. Today, Deyrolle is a shop and a cabinet of curiosities open to the public, a reference in the field of taxidermy, entomology and natural sciences, whose vocation is to show the beauty of Nature. Deyrolle is also involved in pedagogy and art.

Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin is a Roman Catholic church located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, place Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin, between the rue du Bac and the boulevard Saint-Germain.

Rue du Bac is a street in Paris situated in the 7th arrondissement. The street, which is 1150 m long, begins at the junction of the quais Voltaire and Anatole-France and ends at the rue de Sèvres. Rue du Bac is also the name of a station on line 12 of the Paris Métro, although its entrance is actually located on the boulevard Raspail at the point where it is joined by the rue du Bac.

The former Hôtel de Chevreuse (later known as the Hôtel de Luynes) was a Parisian hôtel particulier located at 33 Rue Saint-Dominique (on a site that now includes part of the Boulevard Saint-Germain), just south of the Église Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin.

The Musée des Lettres et Manuscrits (Museum of Letters and Manuscripts) was a museum of letters and manuscripts located at 222 Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France. It closed in 2014 after its owner Gérard Lhéritier, and his company Aristophil were investigated for allegedly running the museum as an illegal Ponzi scheme.

Rue du Bac (French pronunciation: ​[ʁy dy bak]) is a station on Line 12 of the Paris Métro in the 7th arrondissement. The station opened on 5 November 1910 as part of the original section of the Nord-Sud Company's line A between Porte de Versailles and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. On 27 March 1931 line A became line 12 of the Métro. It is named after the Rue du Bac, a street leading to a ferry (bac) across the Seine used in 1564 during the construction of the Tuileries Palace. Nearby are the Hôtel Matignon (the official residence of the Prime Minister of France) and the Maison de Verre (a house built between 1928 and 1932 in an early modern style).

Collège des Ingénieurs (also referred to as CDI) is a European educational institution and business school founded in Paris (France), Munich (Germany), and Torino (Italy). It provides Engineering graduates with learning opportunities in business administration and finance, in order for them to develop the key skills and competencies required to succeed in the corporate environment and to take up executive positions. Established in 1986 and with a focus on value creation and entrepreneurship for scientists and engineers, the school currently grants an M.B.A. degree, and runs in partnership, a joint Ph.D. - M.B.A. degree program in "Sciences & Management" (first with Pierre and Marie Curie University, but now also with Paris-Sorbonne University, PSL Research University, University of Paris-Saclay, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Technical University of Munich...). Additionally, the school offers executive courses (Corporate Universities) and runs Copernic, a Master program in Management designed for Central and Eastern European graduates in cooperation with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Grandes Ecoles and industry partners. Because of the international character of the programs, the official language of instruction is English; however, in the various national branches some lectures are occasionally given in French, German and Italian as well. Entirely financed by supporting companies, the CDI is renowned within France and abroad for being highly selective, for its action learning approach and for its strong connections with industry: M.B.A. candidates are required to complete a project at one of the sponsor companies. The Caisse des dépôts et consignations (CDC; lit. 'Deposits and Consignments Fund') is a French public sector financial institution created in 1816, and part of the government institutions under the control of the Parliament. It was created to oversee international rules regarding the quarantining of ships and ports to prevent the spread of plague and cholera, and to administer other public health conventions.The OIHP was part of the complex structure known as the Health Organization (Organisation d'Hygiène) of the League of Nations, in an often-competing, and sometimes collaborative relation with the League of Nations' Health Committee.The OIHP was dissolved by protocols signed 22 July 1946 and its epidemiological service was incorporated into the Interim Commission of the World Health Organization on 1 January 1947. However, the OIHP remained in existence legally until 1952. The lycée Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin is a school famous as the establishment where Général de Gaulle undertook his primary studies. It is also known as the école des Frères des écoles chrétiennes de la paroisse Saint-Thomas-d’Aquin. It was a primary school at the time. Since then, the original building has been completely destroyed, and a new building constructed in its place. Charles de Gaulle later became President of the Republic, head of the French Resistance and of Free France. A commemorative plaque noting his attendance at the school can be found in the hall of establishment above the doors to the courtyard (primary classes). Father Raymond-Jacques Tournay, church leader, member of the École Biblique, and resistant during the Occupation, also attended the primary school.More recently, actresses Élodie Bouchez and Ana Girardot, also attended the school.

The Fontaine des Quatre-Saisons (French for '"Fountain of the Four Seasons"') is a monumental 18th-century public fountain, at 57-59 rue de Grenelle in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was executed by Edme Bouchardon, royal sculptor of King Louis XV (ruled 1715–1774), and opened in 1745. The fountain is huge and richly decorated, but it had only two water spouts, and its grand scale on the narrow street, together with the lack of water, irritated Voltaire and other figures of the French Enlightenment.
