100 North Main is the tallest building in Memphis, Tennessee. At 430 feet, (131m) it has 37 floors and stands bordering Adams Avenue, North Second Street, and North Main. The building is currently totally vacant and closed to public entry. Plans for renovation to convert the building to hotel and apartments have repeatedly failed. The building stands abandoned and fenced off as of May 2016. The building has been condemned by Shelby County Environmental Court since late 2015 when it was discovered that chunks of concrete were falling from the building's exterior walls, as well as the elevators being inoperable and the fire safety systems not being up to code or functional. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Tennessee Club, also known as the Overall Goodbar Building, is a historic townhouse in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. Designed by architect Elah Terrell, it was built in 1888 for two doctors by the names of Overall and Peete. Colonel William F. Taylor, a veteran of the Confederate States Army who served under General Nathan Bedford Forrest during the American Civil War, also had an office in the building. By 1890, it became the home of the Tennessee Club, a social club founded in 1875. From 1907 to 1927, it was home to Overton and Overton, a real estate firm. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 22, 1982.

The Dermon Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was constructed in 1925 by Dave Dermon at a cost of around $800,000. From the time it was constructed, until 1983, it was the home of Dave Dermon Company, and Dave Dermon Insurance. 'Papa' sold the building in the 1930s, and although it has changed hands many times, it is still known as the Dermon Building today. It was listed on the National Register in recognition of its local architectural significance and its association with its builder Dave Dermon, who was a prominent Memphis real estate developer in the years between World War I and the Great Depression. In downtown Memphis, the building is second only to the Kress Building in displaying the colorful use of glazed architectural terra cotta from the 1920s.

Hotel Claridge is a historic hotel building in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1924 for Charles Levy and Morris Corn, two businessmen from St. Louis, Missouri. Its construction cost $1.5 million, and it was designed by the Memphis architectural firm of Jones & Furbringer and the St. Louis firm of Barnett, Haynes & Barnett.Hotel Claridge is at 109 North Main Street in Memphis. In the 1930s and 40s, it housed the studios of radio station 560 AM WHBQ.It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 29, 1982.

The Lincoln American Tower is a 22-story building located at the corner of North Main and Court streets in Memphis, Tennessee. Sterling and Wyatt Hedrick. It is a gothic-style tower, 111 m (365 ft) tall with 29 floors. When it opened it 1930 it was called the tallest building in the American South, It was the tallest building in Tennessee until 1957. It is now the fifth-tallest building in Memphis. It stands at the corner of Madison Avenue and North B.B. King Boulevard.

The James Lee House is a historic house in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built circa 1869 for James Lee, Sr., the founder of a river steamboat company and an iron works. It was later inherited by his son, James Lee, Jr., a maritime attorney. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 2, 1978.

The Exchange Building is located at the corner of Second Street and Madison Avenue in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. It is 264.0 feet (80.5 m) tall and has 217,244 square feet (20,182.6 m2) of living space. The building is made of steel and concrete, and employs many decorative elements including Tennessee marble, granite, and detailed plaster work.

201 Poplar Avenue is the street address for the Walter L. Bailey, Jr. Criminal Justice Center in Memphis, Tennessee. It is alluded to in many rap songs by artists hailing from Memphis. The Complex houses several courts, including General Sessions Criminal Courts, most located on the lower level of the building, felony courts on the upper levels, Police and Sheriff's offices, the District Attorney General's office, as well as the Office of the Public Defender. The jail complex at 225 and 271 Poplar is attached to the building.
