Exchange Building (Memphis)

The D.T. Porter Building in Memphis, Tennessee was constructed in 1895 and was the city's first steel frame skyscraper. It had a circulating hot water heating system. It was renovated in 1983 and converted to condominiums. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for Shelby County, Tennessee in 1995. It was designed by Edward Culliatt Jones's architecture firm.

The Memphis Trust Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1904 for the Bank of Commerce and Trust. It was designed by Hanker & Cairns. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 25, 1980.

The Tennessee Club, also known as the Overall Goodbar Building, is a historic townhouse in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. Designed by architect Elah Terrell, it was built in 1888 for two doctors by the names of Overall and Peete. Colonel William F. Taylor, a veteran of the Confederate States Army who served under General Nathan Bedford Forrest during the American Civil War, also had an office in the building. By 1890, it became the home of the Tennessee Club, a social club founded in 1875. From 1907 to 1927, it was home to Overton and Overton, a real estate firm. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 22, 1982.

The First Horizon Bank Tower (formerly First National Bank Building and First Tennessee Bank Building) is a high-rise office building in Memphis, Tennessee. The building's namesake is its main tenant First Horizon Bank. It is currently the seventh tallest building in the city. Light panels adorn the sides of the building, which are used to illuminate various images on the side of the building at night.

The Lincoln American Tower is a 22-story building located at the corner of North Main and Court streets in Memphis, Tennessee. It is also a historical landmark, one of the first steel frame skyscrapers built in Memphis. The tower underwent a six-year refurbishing project starting in 2002, and despite a fire in 2006, is now open and accepting tenants. The building currently features 31 residential apartments, 3 floors of commercial offices, and New York–based Ceriello Fine Foods on the ground floor.

The B. Lowenstein & Brothers Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. It was built in 1924 for the Lowenstein Company, a clothing company founded by Benedict Lowenstein, a German immigrant, in 1855. It was designed in the Beaux-Arts architectural style by Hanker & Cairns, in conjunction with Emile Weil. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 16, 1983.

Scimitar Building, also known as the Memphis Light, Gas, and Water Building, Winchester Building and most recently Hotel Napoleon, is a five-story stone-veneer structure in Memphis, Tennessee. Its architecture features a combination of Beaux-Arts and Romanesque Revival styles. It started life as the home of the Memphis newspaper Evening Scimitar and is currently a boutique hotel.

The Bank of Commerce and Trust Company Building is a historic building in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built in 1929 for the bank of Commerce and Trust, later known as the National Bank of Commerce (now part of SunTrust Banks). Its construction cost $2 million. It was designed by Hanker & Cairns in the Classical Revival architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 7, 1980.

The Sterick Building is an office building in Memphis, Tennessee. It was designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick & Co., and was completed in 1930—its name is a contraction of the original owners' names, R.E. Sterling and Wyatt Hedrick. It is a gothic-style tower, 111 m (365 ft) tall with 29 floors. When it opened it 1930 it was called the tallest building in the American South, It was the tallest building in Tennessee until 1957. It is now the fifth-tallest building in Memphis. It stands at the corner of Madison Avenue and North B.B. King Boulevard.

The Dermon Building is a historic building in Memphis, Tennessee, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was constructed in 1925 by Dave Dermon at a cost of around $800,000. From the time it was constructed, until 1983, it was the home of Dave Dermon Company, and Dave Dermon Insurance. 'Papa' sold the building in the 1930s, and although it has changed hands many times, it is still known as the Dermon Building today. It was listed on the National Register in recognition of its local architectural significance and its association with its builder Dave Dermon, who was a prominent Memphis real estate developer in the years between World War I and the Great Depression. In downtown Memphis, the building is second only to the Kress Building in displaying the colorful use of glazed architectural terra cotta from the 1920s.

Raymond James Tower is a 21-story skyscraper and is the second tallest building in Memphis, Tennessee. The building is located at the corner of North Front Street and Jefferson Avenue and South Main Street. It is 403.0 feet (122.8 m) tall, including a 61.0 feet (18.6 m) spire, and has 334,668 square feet (31,091.7 m2) of office space.It is currently owned by Orlando, Florida based Parkway Properties, which has owned the building since 1997. The company once owned six other buildings in Memphis, but has since sold them off. As of July 2008, the building was 100% occupied.
