Park Royal & Twyford Abbey tube station

Twyford Abbey Halt was a short-lived railway station in Park Royal, Ealing, London on the New North Main Line and was located between Perivale Halt and Park Royal West Halt. It opened on 1 May 1904 and closed on 1 May 1911 when it was replaced by Brentham for North Ealing and Greystoke Park. The station was close to the location of the London Underground's Hanger Lane which opened in 1947.

The Hanger Lane gyratory is a multi-lane rectangular gyratory – having the Hanger Lane underpass, under its southern limb, for the Western Avenue (A40). It enables intersection with the North Circular (A406) and the inceptive Ealing Road towards Wembley. It is in the north of the borough of Ealing in west London.

Hanger Lane is a London Underground station in Hanger Hill, Ealing, on the border between West and Northwest London. It is located on the West Ruislip branch of the Central line, between Perivale and North Acton stations, and is in Travelcard Zone 3. It is within walking distance of Park Royal station on the Piccadilly line. The two lines cross a little east of Hanger Lane station.

Park Royal West Halt was a railway station in Park Royal, London. It was opened on 20 June 1932 and closed on 15 June 1947 in advance of the opening of the extension of the London Underground's Central Line from North Acton to Greenford. The station was replaced by Hanger Lane to the north-west.

Hanger Hill Wood is a small remnant of ancient woodland to the east of the Hanger Hill Park and North Circular Road at Hanger Lane, in Ealing in the London Borough of Ealing. Named from 'Hangra', the Old English word for wooded slope. There is access from Hanger Lane (at pedestrian crossing by Hillcrest Road), alternative access is at several points on Chatsworth Road.

Park Royal is a station on the Piccadilly line of the London Underground. It is between North Ealing and Alperton and is in Travelcard Zone 3. It is situated on the south side of the east–west Western Avenue (A40), surrounded by residential Ealing and industrial Park Royal. There is a pedestrian subway under the A40 road near the station. The station's platforms have a continuous significant gradient (sloping up from south to north).

St Augustine's Priory School, is an independent Catholic girls' school in the London Borough of Ealing, England. It was founded and staffed by nuns from the priory, though the school has been run by a lay head since 1996. The school consists of Nursery (3-4) Prep (4–7 years), Junior (7-11) and Senior (11-18) departments and welcomes girls of all faiths. In 2014, it was in the top three best performing GCSE schools in Ealing.

Brentham for North Ealing and Greystoke Park was a railway station in Park Royal, London, on the New North Main Line. The station opened as Brentham on 1 May 1911 as a replacement for Twyford Abbey Halt. The name was changed to Brentham (for North Ealing) in 1932 and was later extended further to include "Greystoke Park". It closed on 15 June 1947 in advance of the opening of the extension of the Central Line from North Acton to Greenford on 30 June 1947. It was replaced by Hanger Lane.

West Twyford (also known as Twyford Abbey) is a small residential area forming a northeastern corner of the London Borough of Ealing directly northeast of Hanger Lane station and north of Park Royal, south of the London Borough of Brent and the River Brent. It was historically an extra-parochial area, then civil parish (1866-1926), in Middlesex, England. It is in the small part of its borough having a NW postcode.

Park Royal is an area in West London, England, partly in the London Borough of Brent and partly the London Borough of Ealing. It is the site of the largest business park in London, but despite intensive existing use, the area is, together with adjacent Old Oak Common, intended to become the UK's largest regeneration scheme. This arises from the area's relatively central location and also the strong and improving transport links which will include (at Old Oak Common), HS2 and the Elizabeth Line. The scale of redevelopment has led to the Park Royal and Old Oak area being described as a potential "Canary Wharf of West London".Park Royal was the site of two of the early homes of Queens Park Rangers Football Club.

Hanger Lane is a major road in Ealing, London, England. The majority of the road forms the westernmost part of the A406 North Circular Road, running north from the A4020 Uxbridge Road at Ealing Common to the A40 Western Avenue at the Hanger Lane gyratory. This complex and busy junction incorporates Hanger Lane Underground station on the Central line of the London Underground. North of the gyratory, Hanger Lane continues along the A4005 to Vicar's Bridge and the border with Alperton in the London Borough of Brent. The road takes its name from Hanger Hill, which is also the name of the surrounding area. The name comes from the Old English word hangra, meaning a wooded slope.

Fox Wood is a 2.25 hectare Local Nature Reserve and Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade 1, in Ealing in the London Borough of Ealing. It is owned and managed by Ealing Council.The site was part of Fox Reservoir, which was opened in 1888 and drained in 1943 to prevent it being used as a navigational aid for German bombers in World War II. The area was acquired by the Municipal Borough of Ealing in 1949 for public open space. Part of it is ancient woodland, and other areas are on the sloping area of the drained reservoir. It has a variety of plant species, including wood anemones, wood avens and garlic mustard.There is access from Hillcrest Road, Fox Lane and Sandall Road.
