Ripple railway station

Ripple is a village and civil parish in the county of Worcestershire, England. Ripple is one of the most southerly parishes in the county and is situated on the A38 road with the River Severn as its western boundary. Besides Ripple, the parish contains the settlements of Holly Green, The Grove, Naunton, Ryall, Saxon's Lode, and Uckinghall. It had a combined population of 1,799 at the 2011 census.

The Battle of Ripple Field, fought on 13 April 1643, was an engagement in the First English Civil War. In the battle, a Royalist cavalry force led by Prince Maurice routed Parliamentarian cavalry and infantry forces led by Sir William Waller.

Saxon's Lode is a hamlet on the banks of the River Severn in the parish of Ripple, Worcestershire.

Naunton is a village in the parish of Ripple, near Upton-upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England. Records for Naunton date back to the 12th Century, where Naunton was known as Newentone, before changing to Nounton in the 13th Century. It was given by Bishop Theulf (1115–23) to Auda 'Vitrarius'. It was then bought by Adam de Croome around 1125–1150, becoming part of the Earls Croome estate. It subsequently became part of the Ripple parish.Naunton is predominantly residential, with a mix of old farm cottages and new bungalows. Buildings of note include the Grade 2 listed Naunton Farmhouse, and The Thatch.

Bredon School, formerly Pull Court, is a private school in Bushley, Worcestershire, England. The house was built for the Reverend Canon E. C. Dowdeswell by Edward Blore between 1831 and 1839. The site is much older and Blore's house replaced an earlier mansion. The Dowdeswells had been prominent in local and national politics since the 18th century, with many serving as members of Parliament. The family sold the house in 1934 to the parents of Richard Seaman, a prominent pre-war racing driver, who lived there until his death in a crash in the 1939 Belgian Grand Prix. In 1962, the court became a school, Bredon School, founded by Lt-Col Tony Sharp and Hugh Jarrett, for the education of boys who had failed the Common Entrance Examination. It remains a specialist school with a focus on educating children with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Holdfast is a civil parish in the Malvern Hills District of the county of Worcestershire, England. It is one of three administered by the Parish Council of Longdon, Queenhill and Holdfast. It lies on the west bank of the River Severn immediately to the south of Upton upon Severn.

Bushley is a small village and civil parish in the Malvern Hills district in Worcestershire, England. The church is dedicated to Saint Peter. At the 2021 census, the population was 372.Bredon School is located to the north of the village.

Ryall is a village in the south of Worcestershire, England, on the east bank of the River Severn, near Upton-upon-Severn on the opposite bank. The village is located on the A38 road that runs roughly parallel to the River Severn, on its Tewkesbury to Kempsey stretch, and on the A4104, which crosses the Severn at Upton. The part of the village by the A38 is called The Grove, and includes the Blue Bell public house. The part along the A4104 is called Holly Green.

Hill Croome is a village, and a civil parish which covers 1000 acres, in the Malvern Hills District in the county of Worcestershire, England. Historically a parish in the lower division of the hundred of Oswaldslow, according to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 169. Hill Croome was once part of the Royal forest of Horewell.

Upton-on-Severn railway station was a railway station serving Upton-on-Severn in the English county of Worcestershire.

Upton-upon-Severn (or Upton on Severn, etc. and locally simply Upton) is a town and civil parish in the Malvern Hills District of Worcestershire, England. Lying on the A4104 (formerly A440), the 2021 census recorded a population of 2,903 for the town.Upton is situated on the west bank of the River Severn and is located 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Malvern. The town has a distinctive tower and copper-clad cupola – known locally as the "Pepperpot" – the only surviving remnant of the former church. Its replacement, also dedicated to St Peter and St Paul, was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield.
