Runkel is a town on the Lahn River in Limburg-Weilburg district in Hesse, Germany.

Runkel Castle (German: Burg Runkel), a ruined hill castle from the High Middle Ages, is located in the city of Runkel in the Landkreis of Limburg-Weilburg in the state of Hesse.

Schadeck Castle (German: Burg Schadeck) is a counter-castle which was built in opposition to the nearby Runkel Castle. It stands above the River Lahn in the eponymous parish in the county of Limburg-Weilburg in the German state of Hesse.

The Niedertiefenbach tomb (German: Steinkistengrab von Niedertiefenbach) is a megalithic tomb located near Beselich-Niedertiefebach in Hesse, Germany. It belongs to the Wartberg culture of the Central European Later Neolithic. It is of special importance in Central European prehistory because of the sequence of collective burial layers contained within it.

Berger Kirche is the common name of a church building close to Werschau, part of Brechen in Hesse, Germany. It was first mentioned in 910 and is one of the oldest buildings in the region. It was dedicated to St. George, and remained when the village of Bergen was abandoned.The Berger Kirche is located on top of a rock west of Niederbrechen and northwest of Werschau, close to the Bundesstraße 8, formerly the Via publica which connected Cologne and Frankfurt. It serves the cemetery of Werschau which surrounds it, and is a venue for services and concerts.

Niederbrechen station is a station on the Main-Lahn Railway, which runs from Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof to Limburg (Lahn), in the Brechen suburb of Niederbrechen in the German state of Hesse. With Oberbrechen station, it is one of two stations in Brechen. The station is in the network of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station and has three platform tracks.

Villmar is a market village and municipality in the Limburg-Weilburg district in Hesse, Germany. The community is the centre for quarrying and processing the so-called Lahn Marble.

Eschhofen station lies on the Lahn Valley Railway (German: Lahntalbahn) in the town of Limburg an der Lahn in the German state of Hesse. In addition, just east of the station, the Main-Lahn Railway (Main-Lahn-Bahn) branches off to Frankfurt. The station was opened in 1863. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.
