Otlica

Slokarji (pronounced [ˈsloːkaɾji]; Italian: Slocari) is a formerly independent settlement in the Municipality of Ajdovščina in southwestern Slovenia. It is now part of the village of Lokavec. It is part of the traditional region of the Littoral and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Gorizia Statistical Region.

Kovk (pronounced [ˈkoːu̯k]) is a dispersed settlement on the edge of a karst plateau north of Ajdovščina in the Littoral region of Slovenia. Together with the ridge-top villages of Predmeja, Otlica, and Gozd, it is part of an area locally known as Gora (literally, 'the mountain').

It is now part of the town of Ajdovščina. It is part of the traditional region of Inner Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Gorizia Statistical Region.

Lokavec (pronounced [lɔˈkaːʋəts]) is a settlement on the northern edge of the Vipava Valley northwest of Ajdovščina in the Littoral region of Slovenia. It lies below the slopes of Mount Čaven, below the Slano Blato Landslide. It includes the hamlets of Bitovi, Brith (or Britih), Čohi, Gorenje, Kuši, Lahovše, Loretovše, Mizinška Vas (Slovene: Mizinška vas), Paljki (or Palki), and Slokarji.

Ajdovščina (pronounced [ˈaːi̯dɔu̯ʃtʃina] ; Italian: Aidussina, German: Haidenschaft) is a town in the Vipava Valley (Vipavska dolina), Slovenia. It is the administrative seat of the Municipality of Ajdovščina.

Ajdovščina City Stadium (Slovene: Mestni stadion Ajdovščina) is a stadium in Ajdovščina, Slovenia. It is used mostly for football matches. During the 2009–10 season, the stadium underwent extensive reconstruction. It was reopened on 5 September 2010 with a capacity of 1,630 seats.

The Municipality of Ajdovščina (pronounced [ˈaːi̯dɔu̯ʃtʃina]; Slovene: Občina Ajdovščina) is a municipality with a population of a little over 19,000 located in the Vipava Valley, southwestern Slovenia. The municipality was established in 1994. Its seat is in the town of Ajdovščina. As of 2020, its mayor is Tadej Beočanin.Ajdovščina is part of the Slovene Littoral traditional region as well as modern Gorizia statistical region. The climate is influenced by the Mediterranean (minimum temperature in winter −1 °C (30 °F), maximum 17 °C (63 °F); in the summer time maximum temperature 39 °C (102 °F), minimum 20 °C (68 °F). Its characteristic is the bora wind, which may reach the speeds over 200 kilometres per hour (120 mph).

Ajdovščina Airport (ICAO: LJAJ) (Slovene: Letališče Ajdovščina) is a local airfield and tourist airport in the Vipava Valley, Slovenia. The airport was originally built for the Battles of the Isonzo and is today home to the Josip Križaj Ajdovščina Aeroclub and the ultralight aircraft manufacturer Pipistrel. The flying club is named after the Slovene war ace Josip Križaj (a.k.a. Giuseppe Krizai).
