Planina (pronounced [plaˈnìːna]) is a village in the hills south of the Vipava Valley on the border with the Karst Plateau in the Municipality of Ajdovščina in the traditional Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. It is now generally regarded as part of the Slovenian Littoral. It is made up of smaller clusters of the hamlets of Štrancarji, Marci, Dolenja Vas (Slovene: Dolenja vas), Brithi, Gorenja Vas (Gorenja vas), and Koboli.The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Cantius and belongs to the Koper Diocese. A second church belonging to the parish is built on a hill south of the main settlement and is dedicated to Saint Paul.

Šturje (pronounced [ˈʃtuːɾjɛ]; in older sources also Sturja, German: Sturia, Italian: Sturie delle Fusine) is a formerly independent settlement in the Municipality of Ajdovščina in southwestern Slovenia. It is now part of the town of Ajdovščina. It is part of the traditional region of Inner Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Gorizia Statistical Region.

Ajdovščina City Stadium (Slovene: Mestni stadion Ajdovščina) is a stadium in Ajdovščina, Slovenia. It is used mostly for football matches. During the 2009–10 season, the stadium underwent extensive reconstruction. It was reopened on 5 September 2010 with a capacity of 1,630 seats.
