The Episcopal Diocese of Nevada is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the USA comprising the entire State of Nevada. The eleventh and current bishop of the Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Elizabeth Bonforte Gardner, was ordained and consecrated by Presiding Bishop Michael Curry at Christ Church Episcopal in Las Vegas on March 5, 2022. On October 8, 2021, the Reverend Gardner was elected bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Nevada.The cathedral in this diocese is Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, and is located in Reno. It was designated in December 2016. In 1971, Nevada achieved separate diocesan status. Under the leadership of diocesan bishop Wesley Frensdorff, who served from 1972 to 1985, Nevada became a leader in the concept of Total Ministry, the "ministry of all the baptized," in which laity and clergy have a more equal share in ministry.The ninth bishop of Nevada, the Right Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, was elected the 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church at the 2006 General Convention, becoming the first female primate in the Anglican Communion. The Diocese works to be faithfully engaged in civic society with people of all faiths through Nevadans for the Common Good, Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, the Nevada Faith and Justice Alliance, Communities in Schools, All Our Children, Bread for the World and other groups working for justice and mercy.

Seven Hills is a master-planned community located in Henderson, Nevada. Seven Hills is approximately 7 miles (11 km) from the Las Vegas Strip. It is home to the Rio Secco Golf Club. Seven Hills is located half of a mile east of the Henderson Executive Airport.

Silverado High School (SHS) is a public secondary school in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. that is a part of the Clark County School District. Its mascot is the Skyhawk, and the school's colors are purple, teal, and white.

Green Valley Ranch is a hotel and casino located within the eponymous community in Henderson, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Station Casinos, and includes a 143,891 sq ft (13,367.9 m2) casino. The resort was initially proposed by American Nevada Corporation, which received city approval to build it in 1996. In addition to a hotel-casino, the company also planned to build a mixed-use project to accompany it. Construction began in 2000, after American Nevada partnered with Station Casinos, which would co-own and operate the property. Green Valley Ranch opened on December 18, 2001, with 201 rooms and a 50,000 sq ft (4,600 m2) casino. While a locals casino, the resort was designed with an upscale element. Built at a cost of $300 million, it was Station's most expensive resort up to that point, and the most expensive locals casino in Las Vegas history. The resort includes various restaurants, a Regal Cinemas movie theater, and a spa. American Nevada's mixed-use project opened on adjacent property in 2004, as The District at Green Valley Ranch. A hotel expansion opened in 2005, increasing the room count to 497. Station took over full ownership of the resort in June 2011.

The Art Institute of Las Vegas was a for-profit college in Henderson, Nevada. It was founded in 1983 as The Interior Design Institute and was later known as The Design Institute. It was renamed The Art Institute of Las Vegas in 2001 when it was purchased by Education Management Corporation, which was headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ai-Las Vegas was part of a system of Art Institutes schools. It was one of the colleges acquired from EDMC by Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH), LLC, in 2017. It closed in December 2019.

The Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge was an unofficial golf event held in November at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada. The tournament was a unique stroke play event, and, as the name suggests, pitted three teams, with three members per team, from the PGA Tour, the LPGA Tour, and the Champions Tour (known as the Senior PGA Tour prior to 2001) against each other. The 2013 purse was $1 million.The challenge event was done in one day, over 18 holes, and is usually held on a Tuesday. It was preceded by an amateur tournament and a one-day pro-am tournament. The event was handicapped to provide all competitors a fair and equal chance of succeeding. The PGA Tour players played the course at its full length, while the Champions Tour players hit from tee positions that made the course shorter and the LPGA players from even shorter tee positions. The event supported the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a charity established by the founder of Wendy's, the fast food restaurant that sponsored the tournament. In 2013, the tournament raised a record $4.1 million, and, since it was founded in 1992, it raised more than $50 million overall for the charity.ABC televised the event until 2009, showing the tournament tape-delayed on a weekend in December just before Christmas, with the first nine holes broadcast on Saturday, and the final nine holes on Sunday. Terry Gannon did the on-air play-by-play. From 2010 to 2013, the event aired on the Golf Channel.

Rio Secco Golf Club is a public golf course located in the Seven Hills neighborhood of Henderson, in the Las Vegas Valley. The course has hosted the annual Tiger Woods Jam and other charity and competitive events including the VegasGolfer Pro Showdown. It is owned by Vici Properties.

The District at Green Valley Ranch is a mixed-use development in Green Valley Ranch, a neighborhood in the city of Henderson, Nevada. It is located east of the Green Valley Ranch hotel-casino, and includes retail, restaurant, office, and residential space. The District, like the resort, was developed by American Nevada Corporation. Planning for a mixed-use project dates to 1996, as part of the resort plans. The District's first phase was opened on April 15, 2004, becoming the first mixed-use project in the Las Vegas Valley. A second phase opened in 2005, on a separate parcel located just east of the original phase. The District was hurt financially due to the Great Recession, and American Nevada eventually sold it to lenders in 2011. Vestar Development took over ownership later that year with Rockwood Capital as a partner, before buying out the latter's interest in 2015.

The Dollar Loan Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Henderson, Nevada. Built on the site of the former Henderson Pavilion, it is the home of the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League, the Vegas Knight Hawks of the Indoor Football League and the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League. The City of Henderson is the building owner with the National Hockey League's Vegas Golden Knights as its operator. The Dollar Loan Center seats 5,567 for hockey and football. Initially called the Henderson Event Center, on March 30, 2021, the Golden Knights and Silver Knights announced a naming rights partnership with Dollar Loan Center, a Las Vegas-based short-term loan company, for the arena to be called The Dollar Loan Center. The name of the arena is disambiguated with the article "The" to differentiate it from the company.The arena's primary function is to serve as the home of the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League and the arena was constructed primarily for that purpose. The Vegas Golden Knights purchased the AHL franchise known as the San Antonio Rampage on February 6, 2020, from Spurs Sports & Entertainment. The sale of the team and its relocation to the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson was approved by the AHL Board of Governors on February 28, 2020. The first Silver Knights game played at The Dollar Loan Center was on April 2, 2022.In May 2021, the Indoor Football League (IFL) announced that Bill Foley, owner of the National Hockey League's Vegas Golden Knights, had purchased an IFL franchise to compete at The Dollar Loan Center. On August 23, 2021, Foley announced that the team would be known as the Vegas Knight Hawks and that Mike Davis would be the franchise's general manager and head coach. On May 10, 2022, it was announced that the IFL National Championship game would be played at The Dollar Loan Center for the 2022–2024 seasons.The Big West Conference announced on June 24, 2021, that the men's and women's basketball championships would be held at The Dollar Loan Center starting in 2022 – the tournament was the first ticketed event held at the arena.

The Henderson Pavilion was an amphitheater in Henderson, Nevada used primarily for music performances. The Henderson Pavilion was known for its 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2) canopy style roof. This allowed for the feeling of both being inside and outdoors at the same time.The Henderson Pavilion was the largest open-air amphitheater in Nevada and the first of its kind in Southern Nevada. The Henderson Pavilion was owned by the City of Henderson and was the home of the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, and the host of many of musical events each year.It was located at 200 South Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89012, south of the I-215 freeway and the Green Valley Ranch. The box office was located inside the Henderson Multigenerational Center just adjacent to the venue at 250 South Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89012. The pavilion was torn down in August 2020 and replaced by the Dollar Loan Center, which houses the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League, affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League.

Exploration Peak is a small peak in the unincorporated town of Enterprise, Nevada, United States in the planned community of Mountain's Edge just south of State Route 160 (Blue Diamond Road). It is located within the eponymous Exploration Peak Park.
