Ratchathewi (Thai: ราชเทวี, pronounced [râːt.t͡ɕʰā.tʰēː.wīː]) is a district in central Bangkok, Thailand. Clockwise from the north, its neighboring districts are Phaya Thai, Din Daeng, Huai Khwang, Watthana, Pathum Wan and Dusit.

Suan Pakkad Palace or Suan Pakkard Palace (Thai: สวนผักกาด, RTGS: Suan Phak Kat, pronounced [sǔan pʰàk kàːt]) is a museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located on Sri Ayutthaya Road, south of the Victory Monument. The museum has Thai antiques on display, including Ban Chiang pottery over 4,000 years old. Originally the home of Prince Chumbhotbongs Paribatra and his wife, they converted it into a museum which opened in 1952. The museum features a group of four traditional Thai houses with covered hallways between them. There is also artwork on display in its Marsi Gallery. The name Suan Pakkad translates as "Cabbage Patch", but the museum's collection of five traditional pavilions is one of the best examples of traditional domestic architecture in the city. The Lacquer Pavilion is the most striking building, and is over 450 years old.

Ratchathewi Intersection (Thai: แยกราชเทวี) is a four-way intersection of Phaya Thai and Phetchaburi roads in the area of Thung Phaya Thai, Thanon Phaya Thai and Thanon Phetchaburi sub-districts, Ratchathewi district, downtown Bangkok. It's the location of Ratchathewi station close to important intersections viz Pratunam, Pathum Wan, Phaya Thai, Uruphong and Victory Monument. Its name means Royal Consort in honour of Sukhumala Marasri, who was one of four consorts of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). When she was 50 years old, she donated her own money to build a bridge across a Khlong Pra Chae Chin (คลองประแจจีน; Pra Chae Chin canal). The King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) was presided over the opening ceremony on May 22, 1911 and was given the official name "Phra Ratchathewi Bridge" (สะพานพระราชเทวี) but generally called by short "Ratchathewi Bridge" (สะพานราชเทวี). Later, when the need to expand the traffic surface of Phetchaburi road. Bridge and canal were demolished to create a roundabout (traffic circle). Ratchathewi roundabout has a landmark, a large fountain and the roses are planted around for beauty, especially at night with spotlight. This makes the roundabout more beautiful. In that era, this neighbourhood is considered to be a busy and bustling place. It was surrounded by the houses of the wealthy and many nobles. Later in the 1964, the roundabout was demolished to rebuild the intersection to alleviate traffic jams. The fountain was rebuilt into four fountains at the four corners of the intersection as in modern times. In the 1970s, Ratchathewi intersection became the shopping district of Bangkok. It's the center of many leading cinemas such as Athens, Mackenna, Hollywood, President, Paramount, Metro, Indra etc., including many beauty parlors. In 1975, an overpass was constructed, completed in 1979 with the dozens of crushed rock trucks parked on the bridge to test the strength. It's considered as the first overpass crossing intersection of Bangkok and still use today.In 1989, when Bangkok was re-zoning. Ratchathewi area has been separated from Phaya Thai district. "Ratchathewi" is also used as a new district name.

Ratchathewi station (Thai: สถานีราชเทวี, RTGS: Sathani Ratchathewi, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː râːt.t͡ɕʰā.tʰēː.wīː]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Phaya Thai Road to the south of Ratchathewi intersection, about 10 minutes walk to Pantip Plaza on the way to Pratunam market. The station is also linked by a skybridge to Asia Hotel (where the Calypso Cabaret Shows are held), and by escalators and stairs to a recently created area known as Co-Co Walk that houses several relatively low cost restaurants and bars used mostly by the locals, some "antique" shops, and the one remaining software vendor displaced from Hollywood Street that occupied the rear of the site that formerly hosted a theatre/cimema; Co-Co Walk adjoins the Hollywood Arcade that appears to no longer function as retail premises.

The Rock Pub is a rock-metal pub and music venue at Phaya Thai Road, just below Ratchathewi BTS Station and opposite Asia Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. The pub is located near the Siam area in Pathum Wan District, which contains the Siam Paragon, Siam Center and MBK Center shopping malls and the Siam Square shopping area. In the other direction from the pub Pantip Plaza shopping mall is located. There is live music every night at the Rock Pub.

Victory Monument station (Thai: สถานีอนุสาวรีย์ชัยสมรภูมิ; RGTS: Anusaowari Chai Samoraphum) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Sukhumvit Line in Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Phaya Thai Road to the south of the Victory Monument, one of the landmark and major traffic intersection of Bangkok. The station is linked to all four corners of the traffic circle by the skybridge almost around the monument. There are many food stalls, clothing shops and malls around the station, as the monument is a major BMTA bus stop of Bangkok and also van terminals from suburbs and provinces around the capital.

The Embassy of Indonesia in Bangkok (Indonesian: Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Bangkok; Thai: สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซียประจำประเทศไทย), a diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Thailand and concurrently accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), is located at 600-602 Petchburi Road, Ratchathewi District of Bangkok. The first Indonesian overseas mission in Bangkok was opened as the Indonesian Office (INDOFF) in 1947, which was promoted to Legation in 1949, and later Embassy in 1956.

Thung Phaya Thai (Thai: ทุ่งพญาไท, pronounced [tʰûŋ pʰā.jāː tʰāj]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Ratchathewi District, downtown Bangkok.

The College of Medicine, Rangsit University (Thai: วิทยาลัยแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต) is the first private medical school and the ninth oldest medical school in Thailand.

Amnuay Silpa School (Thai: โรงเรียนอำนวยศิลป์; RTGS: Rong Rian Amnuai Sin) is a coeducational private school in Bangkok, Thailand. It teaches kindergarten, primary and secondary levels. The school was founded in 1926, formerly as an all-boy school in the early years. Chitra Dansuputra was the co-founder and the owner of the school. He later set up a non-profit educational trust Amnuay Silpa Foundation and donated the school to the foundation in 1960. At its peak, the school had a student body of 7,000, but has since scaled down to about 1,500. Its alumni include six prime ministers of Thailand: Kriangsak Chamanan, Chatichai Choonhavan, Anand Panyarachun, Suchinda Kraprayoon, Chavalit Yongchaiyudh and Somchai Wongsawat.

Phaya Thai Road (Thai: ถนนพญาไท, RTGS: Thanon Phaya Thai, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn pʰā.jāː tʰāj]) is a major road in Bangkok, Thailand. It begins at the south side of Victory Monument in Ratchathewi District and continues until Sam Yan Intersection in Pathum Wan District, where it intersects with Rama IV Road. Between Victory Monument and Rama I Road, Phaya Thai Road runs directly below the Sukhumvit Line of the BTS Skytrain. Phaya Thai is also the name of a stop on this line, just past the intersection of Phaya Thai Road and Si Ayutthaya Road. Phaya Thai District is named after this road. Since its creation in 1966, however, the district has been subdivided several times, so that now Phaya Thai Road is no longer within Phaya Thai District.

Baiyoke Tower II (Thai: อาคารใบหยก 2, RTGS: Akhan Baiyok Song, pronounced [ʔāː.kʰāːn bāj.jòk sɔ̌ːŋ]) is an 88-story, 309 m (1,014 ft) skyscraper hotel at 222 Ratchaprarop Road in the Ratchathewi District of Bangkok, Thailand. It is the fourth tallest building in the city, after MahaNakhon and Magnolias Waterfront Residences at ICONSIAM. The building comprises the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest hotel in Southeast Asia and the seventh-tallest all-hotel structure in the world.With the antenna included, the building's height is 328.4 m (1,077 ft), and features a public observatory on the 77th floor, a bar called "Roof Top Bar & Music Lounge" on the 83rd floor, a 360-degree revolving roof deck on the 84th floor and the hotel offers 673 guest rooms. Construction on the building ended in 1997, with the antenna being added two years later. The Baiyoke Sky Hotel website notes the height without the antenna as 309 m (1,014 ft), while other sources note it as 304 m (997 ft).
