Kollevågen

Tveit Church (Norwegian: Tveit kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Askøy Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Tveitevåg on the western side of the island of Askøy. It is the church for the Tveit parish which is part of the Vesthordland prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 2017 using plans drawn up by the architectural firm Tippetue arkitekter from Bergen. The church seats about 500 people.

Most of the population growth is due to migration from Bergen and the surrounding districts of Nordhordland and Midhordland.

The modern-looking wood and leca church was built in a rectangular design in 2001 using plans drawn up by the architect Kolbjørn Jensen. The church seats about 700 people.

It is located along the Byfjorden on the eastern coast of the island of Litlesotra, just north of the village of Straume. The western end of the Sotra Bridge lies at Knarrevik. Statistics Norway groups Knarrevik and neighboring Straume together as one large urban area for statistical purposes. The 6.91-square-kilometre (1,710-acre) urban area of Knarrevik/Straume has a population (2019) of 11,502 and a population density of 1,665 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,310/sq mi).
