Grace United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church located at 9th and West Streets in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was designed by architect Thomas Dixon and built in 1868. It is constructed of serpentine stone of a light pea green color in the Victorian Gothic style. The church building measures approximately 166 feet by 102 feet, 6 inches. It features a needle spire that rises to 186 feet and is topped by a Celtic cross.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was dedicated in 1868 to the Union victory at Gettysburg, which saved the city from being ransacked by the advancing Confederates.

West 9th Street Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses 28 contributing buildings in a commercial area of Wilmington developed in the early 20th century. The district includes representative examples of the Italianate and Colonial Revival styles It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Serviam Girls Academy is a private school in Wilmington, Delaware, offering classes in grades 5–8 for girls. Established in 2008 as an Ursuline school, it is modeled after schools in the NativityMiguel Network of Schools. The current enrollment is approximately 60 students, most of whom live in New Castle, Newark, and the City of Wilmington. The school has a brother school, Nativity Preparatory School, which is also located in Wilmington. Serviam Girls Academy's Mission Statement: Cultivating the potential of young women through a challenging, holistic education rooted in the Ursuline tradition. Their Vision Statement: Empowering young women, changing the world. The Academy seeks to provide a holistic, tuition-free education for low-income girls in grades 5-8. The school's rigorous, college-focused program includes an extended school day and school year, small class size, a mandatory summer program, and support to its graduates in high school and college.

Wilmington YMCA, also known as Wilmington Central YMCA or just Central YMCA, is a historic YMCA building located in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1929, and is a six-story, red brick and Indiana limestone building in a Spanish Colonial Revival style. It consists of a center six-story, nine-bay main block flanked by five-story, one-bay wings, setback slightly from the main facade.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

1001–1011 Jefferson Street is a 155-meter (509 ft) proposed skyscraper in Wilmington, Delaware. It would be Wilmington's first skyscraper above 500 feet (150 m). Its site is located across the street from WSFS Bank Headquarters and is 2 minutes from I-95. The tower would feature 35 stories of mixed-use space. The skyscraper was originally proposed in 2013. The tower will connect to an existing nine-story parking garage and a 10-story vacant office building. If this tower is built, it will become Wilmington and Delaware's new tallest building – surpassing the 110-meter (360 ft), 23-story Chase Manhattan Centre. As of 2016, the tower's site appears to be getting prepared for construction, however, in 2017, site work has paused with the skyscraper now being a vision.

The F. W. Woolworth Company Building is a historic department store building located in downtown Wilmington, Delaware.

Woodward Houses are two historic homes located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The house at 701 West Street was built about 1745, and is a 3+1⁄2-story, three bay, quarried granite dwelling with a gable roof. It has an L-shaped, side-hall plan. The house at 703 West Street was built about 1760, and is a 3+1⁄2-story, three-bay, stuccoed stone dwelling with a gable roof. It is three feet shorter in both length and width than 701. Its interior was altered in the mid-19th century and then in the 1930s to accommodate apartment dwellings. They are excellent examples of the Georgian style. The houses were probably built by Joseph Woodward, a Quaker ropemaker from West Chester, Pennsylvania. There is a legend that the house at 703 contains a hearthstone which was a section of the platform where Thomas Jefferson stood to read the Declaration of Independence to the people of Philadelphia.The houses were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The DuPont Building, occupying the entire block bound by 10th, 11th, Orange and Market streets, was one of the first high-rises in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. It looks out over Rodney Square. The building was built in phases, with the original building constructed in 1908 fronting Rodney Square. At the time, the building housed the offices of DuPont. In 1913, the building was expanded into a "U" by adding wings along 10th and 11th streets, the DuPont Playhouse was added, and a portion of the original 1908 section was converted into the Hotel duPont. The final addition to the building occurred in 1923 when the Orange Street addition was added along with an additional two floors, bringing the floor count to 13 and the height to 124 feet (38 m). Until early 2015 the building housed DuPont's headquarters. In December 2014, DuPont announced that it would move and consolidate its corporate headquarters at its nearby Chestnut Run Plaza site and that The Chemours Company, which spun off from DuPont in 2015, would move into the DuPont Building. As well as Chemours, the building houses The Playhouse on Rodney Square (formerly the DuPont Playhouse), the Hotel duPont, and a branch of M&T Bank.Under pressure from activist shareholders, the company first leased the building's DuPont Playhouse in January 2015 to the Grand Opera House, which renamed it The Playhouse on Rodney Square. The entire structure and the hotel business were then sold to Wilmington-based developer Buccini/Pollin in January 2018. The new owners have leased the building's office space back to Chemours, will continue to lease The Playhouse to The Grand Opera House, and have promised to keep the hotel operating.The Hotel duPont was where Joe Biden announced his candidacy for the Delaware's 1972 United States Senate election.

Torbert Street Livery Stables, also known as Hercules Powder Company Printing Department, Charles Printing Co., Wilmington Motorcycle Club, Cann Bros & Kindig Printers, and Barclay Bros Printing, is a historic livery stable located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1887, and consists of two separately-built, two-story livery stables, joined and expanded through additions and internal alterations. A connecting hyphen was built during or after 1946. Both structures are constructed of brick and have gable roofs. The interior consists of large open spaces supported by cast iron columns and historic wood beams reinforced with iron rods. Also on the property is a contributing cast iron street lamp. The buildings housed livery stables into the early 20th century, after which they were occupied as a cabinet-making shop, a cycle club, auto garages, commercial and corporate printing facilities, and a warehouse.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Wilmington Savings Fund Society Building is a historic bank building at 838 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. The three-story masonry structure was built in 1920, replacing an earlier building constructed by the Wilmington Savings Fund Society in 1886, and was designed by the New York City Hoggson Brothers firm. It is a stately expression of the Classical Revival, with massive Egyptian columns supporting porticos on three sides. Prior to WSFS Bank moving to its current headquarters on Delaware Avenue, the building's main entry on North Market Street featured an ornate dentillated pediment. The lobby featured a mural by N. C. Wyeth, added in 1932. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.In 2015, construction began to turn the building into apartments aimed at housing teachers from the area's many public and charter schools.

Foord & Massey Furniture Company Building is a historic warehouse and showroom located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built between 1917 and 1919, and is a five-story, five bay by four bay, brick commercial building. It has Collegiate Gothic Revival elements, one of the few commercial buildings in the immediate area designed in this style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
