Englewood High School is a public high school located in the city of Englewood, Colorado, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Englewood Schools District. Its enrollment is approximately 600 students in grades 9–12. There are about 65 licensed teachers, 40 of whom hold a master's degree or higher. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and the Colorado Department of Education, and holds membership in the College Board, the National Alliance of High Schools, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. The school was founded in 1913. Englewood has more Boettcher Scholars than any other metro area high school, with 30.

The Knight-Wood Home is a home located at 1800 West Littleton Blvd in Littleton, Colorado. It is a one and half story house built in 1925. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It was deemed notable as a fine example of a Craftsman-style house, having all five of the identifying features of the type: low-pitched, gabled roofs; "wide, unenclosed eave overhangs; decorative beams or braces under the gables; full or partial porches with roofs supported by square tapered columns; and columns or pedestals that extend to the ground level without a break at the porch level."A second contributing building in the listing is the original garage.

It is governed by a five-member Board of Education, and administered by a superintendent and six executives. Its headquarters, the Education Services Center, is located in Downtown Littleton. It is the fifteenth largest school district in Colorado. LPS operates 11 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, several alternative programs, a preschool, and two charter schools.

Cinderella City Mall was a large shopping center located in Englewood, Colorado, United States. The mall was officially opened for business on March 7, 1968, and demolished in 1999. It once was largest covered shopping centre west of the Mississippi River.The mall was successful when it opened in 1968. However, in the late 1970s and the 1980s, new competition from other malls in the area harmed sales for Cinderella City, and the building itself was also plagued with structural problems. While a remodel in the 1980s temporarily improved sales, the mall continued to declined and stores began to close in the early 1990s. The last store in the mall closed in 1997, and demolition began in late 1998. The land is now occupied by a transit-oriented development, and the only remaining portion of the mall was converted to the Englewood Public Library and City Hall.

The Geneva Home, at 2305 W. Berry Ave. in Littleton, Colorado, is a one-and-a-half-story Craftsman-style frame house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.In 1927 the International Geneva Association purchased the property of what is now the Geneva home. It was a working farm before it was bought in 1927. It was used as a recuperative care facility for hotel and restaurant workers. The City of Littleton bought the property in 1975, and it fell into disrepair for over 20 years while the building was used as storage and the city planned on demolishing it, until it was saved from demolition.

The South Suburban Park and Recreation District is a park and recreation district containing 41 square-miles on the southern edge of the Denver, Colorado metro area. Established in 1959, the park serves around 155,000 people in six communities and three counties: Bow Mar, Columbine Valley, Littleton, Sheridan, Centennial west of 1-25, Lone Tree west of 1-25, and unincorporated portions of Douglas County, Jefferson County and Arapahoe County. There are over 100 parks in the district, including 61 playgrounds and athletic fields. The district includes several community recreation centers, swimming pools, ice arenas, almost 50 tennis courts and an indoor tennis center, a BMX track, a miniature golf course and batting cages. There are several public golf courses and a disc golf course. There are over 3,000 acres (12 km2) of parkland and greenways and nearly 100 mi (160 km) of trails. Carson Nature Center in Littleton is located in South Platte Park, which includes 880 acres of open space along the South Platte River and Mary Carter Greenway Trail. Fishing is allowed in the five lakes and visitors can kayak through gentle water or rapids in the river. There is a regional trail for biking and running, and miles of natural surface trails. The Carson Nature Center museum includes live animals, exhibits about riparian ecosystems and their inhabitants, the South Platte Flood of 1965 which resulted in the construction of the Chatfield Reservoir, and wildlife in the park. The district manages and maintains the portion of the High Line Canal Trail within its borders.
