Englewood Schools is a school district located in Englewood, Colorado, United States, in the Greater Denver area. The district includes the majority of Englewood and sections of Cherry Hills Village and Littleton.

Cinderella City Mall was a large shopping center located in Englewood, Colorado, United States. The mall was officially opened for business on March 7, 1968, and demolished in 1999. It once was largest covered shopping centre west of the Mississippi River.The mall was successful when it opened in 1968. However, in the late 1970s and the 1980s, new competition from other malls in the area harmed sales for Cinderella City, and the building itself was also plagued with structural problems. While a remodel in the 1980s temporarily improved sales, the mall continued to declined and stores began to close in the early 1990s. The last store in the mall closed in 1997, and demolition began in late 1998. The land is now occupied by a transit-oriented development, and the only remaining portion of the mall was converted to the Englewood Public Library and City Hall.

Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) is a non-profit museum and gallery based in Englewood, Colorado. It was founded in 1981 by John W. Madden, Jr. and his daughter, Cynthia Madden Leitner. Open 365 days a year, the outdoor sculpture garden combines fine art, architecture, and landscape design. The MOA holds temporary indoor exhibits, special events, and collaborative performances designed to exemplify its commitment to visual and performing arts as a crucial part of community life.Museum of Outdoor Arts owns Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre and currently leases the space to Anschutz Entertainment Group after its contract expired with LiveNation in 2013.The museum's collections include a limestone Medici lion sculpture.

Englewood High School is a public high school located in the city of Englewood, Colorado, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Englewood Schools District. Its enrollment is approximately 600 students in grades 9–12. There are about 65 licensed teachers, 40 of whom hold a master's degree or higher. The school is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and the Colorado Department of Education, and holds membership in the College Board, the National Alliance of High Schools, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. Little Dry Creek is a short tributary of the South Platte River, approximately 10 miles (16 km) long, in Arapahoe County, Colorado in the United States. The creek drains a suburban area south of Denver. It rises in Centennial, Arapahoe County, west of I-25, and flows generally northwest into Englewood. It has historically been used for irrigation and feeds an aqueduct that runs parallel to it. The creek flows into South Platte just south of West Dartmouth Avenue approximately two tenths of a mile west of its intersection with Santa Fe Drive which is US 85. The Little Dry Creek Trail intersects the Highline Canal Trail in Cherry Hills Village. The mouth of the creek is noted as the location of the first significant gold discovery in present-day Colorado. In the first week of July 1858, Green Russell and his brothers discovered a gold pocket that yielded several hundred dollars' worth of gold. The discovery set off the Colorado Gold Rush in the following year.

The Pike's Peak Gold Rush (later known as the Colorado Gold Rush) was the boom in gold prospecting and mining in the Pike's Peak Country of western Kansas Territory and southwestern Nebraska Territory of the United States that began in July 1858 and lasted until roughly the creation of the Colorado Territory on February 28, 1861. An estimated 100,000 gold seekers took part in one of the greatest gold rushes in North American history.The participants in the gold rush were known as "Fifty-Niners" after 1859, the peak year of the rush and often used the motto Pike's Peak or Bust! In fact, the location of the Pike's Peak Gold Rush was centered 85 miles (137 km) north of Pike's Peak. The name Pike's Peak Gold Rush was used mainly because of how well known and important Pike's Peak was at the time.
