Old Town, Forsyth County, North Carolina

Old Town Township is one of fifteen townships in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 149 according to the 2010 census.Geographically, Old Town Township occupies 0.53 square miles (1.4 km2) in central Forsyth County. Parts of the town of Bethania are located here, but nearly all of the original township has been annexed by the City of Winston-Salem and made part of Winston Township, including the original community of Old Town.

Oak Grove School is a historic one-room school for African-American students located at Winston-Salem and owned by the YWCA of Winston Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built about 1910, and is a one-story, gable-front, in weatherboard clad building with a full-width, shed roof porch. The school closed about 1950, and was used as a store. It was restored in 1998.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Bethania is the oldest municipality in Forsyth County, North Carolina, United States, and was most recently incorporated in 1995, upon the reactivation of the original 1838/1839 town charter. In 2009, Bethania celebrated the 250th anniversary of its establishment in 1759. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 341.

The Bethania Historic District encompasses the historic planned center of the town of Bethania, North Carolina. A National Historic Landmark District, it is a rare example of a Moravian linear agricultural village in the United States, planned and founded in 1759. Land use and road patterns of the original plan are still discernible in the community. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2001, and is at 500 acres (2.0 km2) the largest historic district in Forsyth County.

Christian Thomas Shultz House is a historic home located near Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was built about 1830, and is a two-story, log dwelling with a hall and parlor plan with a pair of exterior gable-end chimneys. It is sheathed in German siding. A one-story frame rear ell was added about 1945. Also on the property is a contributing log smokehouse, dated to the late-1860s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Dr. Beverly Jones House is a historic plantation house located near Bethania, Forsyth County, North Carolina. It was designed by noted Virginia architect Dabney Cosby (1779-1862) and built in 1846–1847. It is a two-story, three bay by two bay, Neoclassical style brick dwelling with a two-story rear wing. Also on the property are the contributing kitchen, smokehouse, and three slave houses.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Pfafftown ( PAHF-town) is an unincorporated community in North Carolina, United States which has been partially annexed into the cities of Winston-Salem in Forsyth County and Lewisville, also in Forsyth County. As of the 2000 census, the ZCTA of Pfafftown had a population of 2,043. It is a Piedmont Triad community.

John Henry Kapp Farm is a historic farm complex and national historic district located near Bethania, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings, one contributing site, and four contributing structures dated between about 1870 and 1942. They include a two-story, frame, vernacular I-house (1870, c. 1880, c. 1910); smokehouse; storage shed (late 1920s); shop (c. 1930); chicken house (1920s); corn crib / granary; barn (1870s); fence (c. 1900); corn crib / granary (c. 1900); tenant house (c. 1900); tobacco pack house (c. 1900); and the agricultural landscape.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Ronald W. Reagan High School (also known as Reagan High School) is a public high school in Pfafftown, North Carolina, United States, under the direction of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools system. It is named after former U.S. president Ronald Reagan. It had a student population of approximately 1,850 during the 2014–2015 school year. The school was constructed to begin operation at the beginning of the 2005–2006 school year. The class of 2007 was the first to graduate from Reagan High School. Brad Royal is the current principal.

Founded as the first Moravian settlement in Wachovia on November 17, 1753, Bethabara served until 1766 as the center of Moravian work in the South. The old historic church was built in 1788. Designed by Moravian administrator Friedrich Wilhelm von Marschall, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Bethabara Moravian Church facility was built in 1788 in what is now Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. The Bethabara Historic District, including the Church, were declared a National Historic Landmark in 1999.The church is located at 2147 Bethabara Road. The congregation is still active, and meets down the road in an updated building at 2100 Bethabara Road, at the intersection with Indiana Avenue.

Samuel B. Stauber Farm is a historic farm complex and national historic district located near Bethania, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The district encompasses five contributing buildings dated between about 1852 and 1900. They include the two-story, three bay Greek Revival style farmhouse (1852); barn (c. 1847/1852); a slave dwelling (c. 1852); a mid-to-late 19th century smokehouse; and a corn crib / granary.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Bethabara Historic District encompasses the surviving buildings and archaeological remains of a small Moravian community, that was first settled in 1753. Located in present-day Forsyth County, North Carolina, it is now a public park of the city of Winston-Salem. It was designated National Historic Landmark in 1999.
