Port of Tokyo

Aomi (青海) is an area in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Its subdivisions consist of Aomi 1, 2, 3 and 4 chome. Aomi is part of Tokyo Bay Landfill #13 and Tokyo Rinkai Satellite City Center. Many important facilities are located in Aomi, such as the Miraikan scientific museum, the Palette Town (including VenusFort shopping mall, the 115-metre (377 ft) Daikanransha Ferris wheel, Zepp Tokyo music hall, Megaweb - the exhibition hall of Toyota), a National Institute of Technology. There is a large seaport facility area of the Port of Tokyo (Aomi dock) and Aomi container terminal. More than a half of the Aomi 2 chome area is dedicated to the port and cargo storage. The land of whole Aomi area had been reclaimed from the sea after 1946, thus all trees have been planted and there are no large animals except for stray cats. Several kinds of wild birds and fishes can be observed.

Tokyo Big Sight (東京ビッグサイト, Tōkyō Biggu Saito), officially known as Tokyo International Exhibition Center (東京国際展示場, Tōkyō Kokusai Tenjijō), is a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo, Japan, and the largest one in the country. Opened in April 1996, the center is located in the Ariake Minami district of Tokyo Waterfront City (臨海副都心, Rinkai Fukutoshin) on the Tokyo Bay waterfront. Its most iconic feature is the visually distinctive Conference Tower. The name Tokyo Big Sight in Japanese eventually became the official name, and it also became the name of the operator in April 2003. The center was a planned venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics hosting wrestling, fencing and taekwondo events, but the reduction of public funds forced the organization committee to choose an alternative location for these events; it instead served as the main broadcasting and press center for the Games.

The Tokyo International Anime Fair also known as Tokyo International Animation Fair (東京国際アニメフェア, TAF) was one of the largest anime trade fairs in the world, held annually in Tokyo, Japan. The first event was held in 2002 as "Tokyo International Anime Fair 21". The event was held at Tokyo Big Sight, a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo Bay, in late March. Usually, the first one or two days of the fair were weekdays and the entrance was open only to industry members and the press; the last two days were scheduled on the weekend and the fair was open to the public. Besides being an international trade fair, the TAF included related events such as business symposia and other events. Notably, the Tokyo Anime Awards were given for domestic and foreign creations and creators in the event with the name of the event. The event was supported by the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs of Tokyo. Although the event did not have a long history, it and its prizes were recognized in the industry. In 2014, it was merged with the Anime Contents Expo to form AnimeJapan.

Tokyo Big Sight Station (東京ビッグサイト駅, Tōkyō Biggu Saito-eki) is a station on the Yurikamome Line in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is numbered "U-11".

Comic Market (Japanese: コミックマーケット, Hepburn: Komikku Māketto), more commonly known as Comiket (コミケット, Komiketto) or Comike (コミケ, Komike), is a semiannual doujinshi convention in Tokyo, Japan. A grassroots market focused on the sale of doujin (self-published) works, Comiket is a not-for-profit fan convention administered by the volunteer-run Comic Market Preparatory Committee (ComiketPC). Inaugurated on 21 December 1975 with an estimated 700 attendees, Comiket has since grown to become the largest fan convention in the world, with an estimated turnstile attendance of 750,000 in 2019. Comiket is typically held at Tokyo Big Sight in August and December, with the two events distinguished as Summer Comic Market (夏コミ, Natsukomi) and Winter Comic Market (冬コミ, Fuyukomi), respectively.

Game Market (ゲームマーケット) is a Japanese gaming convention featuring "analog games" that do not require electricity, such as board games and card games. The event was first held in Tokyo on April 2, 2000. It is currently held at Tokyo Big Sight twice a year, in spring and autumn, and also once a year in Osaka. The event has seen a rise in popularity, with attendance at the Tokyo event increasing from 2,200 in March 2010 to 7,200 in October 2014, 8,500 in May 2015,9,500 in November 2015, and 29,300 in 2019

Telecom Center Station (テレコムセンター駅, Terekomu Sentā-eki) is a station on the Yurikamome Line in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is numbered "U-09". It is named after the adjacent Telecom Center building.

Aomi Station (青海駅, Aomi-eki) is a station on the Yurikamome Line in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is numbered "U-10".

Palette Town was a shopping mall and entertainment complex in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. The facilities have been closed for redevelopment of the area.

Daikanransha (大観覧車) was a 115-metre (377 ft) tall Ferris wheel at Palette Town in Odaiba, Japan.

Ariake (有明) is a district in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It is best known as the region adjacent to and directly east of Odaiba. Ariake is subdivided into four chome and comprises part of the Tokyo Bay Landfill No. 10 and Tokyo Rinkai Satellite City Center. As of April 2012 its population was 6,145. Ariake is most well known internationally as the site of the Tokyo Big Sight international exhibition centre. Other important facilities located within Ariake include the Ariake Tennis Forest Park (Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen), Ariake Coliseum, Ariake Sports Center, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, Tokyo Ariake University of Medical and Health Sciences, the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research and the headquarters of Universal Entertainment Corporation. Ariake is a center for shipping in the pulp and paper industry. The failed Tokyo bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics proposed holding many of its events in Ariake. The 2020 Summer Olympics installed the flame cauldron on the Yume no Ohashi bridge, that crosses the Ariake West Canal.

Mega Web, or Megaweb, was a car theme park operated by Toyota in Odaiba's Palette Town, Tokyo, Japan. The Toyota City Showcase displays vehicles and has 1.3-km driving course for test driving. Ride Studio offers mini car driving and the Waku-Doki has simulated race track driving. The History Garage has a collection of 1950s–1970s models on display. Mega Web and the Historic Garage closed permanently on December 31, 2021, as part of Palette Town's anticipated redevelopment.
