Yūtenji (祐天寺, yūtenji) is a temple of the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism in Nakameguro, Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. In 1718, the 3rd year of the Kyōhō era, the 36th Buddhist monk of Zōjōji called Yūten (祐天, yūten) died. One of his disciples, Yumi (祐海, yumi), built Yūtenji as his shrine and made him the founder.

Tokyo Gakuen High School (東京学園高等学校, "Tokyo Gakuen High School") is a high school in Japan. The traditional school uniform is a basic black gakuran with brass buttons while the summer version consists of gray pants and a white shirt. The school is divided into three semesters in a typical year of studies. Gas pumps are used for the purpose of heating and air conditioning the entire school. This school also has consistently maintained a boys-only policy despite an increased number of gender equality measures being carried out.

Indonesia-Tokyo Mosque, also known as Meguro Mosque, is a mosque in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. With the support and the further communication between the Family of Indonesian Islamic Community (KMII) board, the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, the groundbreaking was carried out during the 2015 Eid al-Fitr festival by the incumbent Indonesian Ambassador to Japan, Yusron Ihza Mahendra.

Shimomeguro (下目黒) is a district located in the eastern portion of Meguro, Tokyo, Japan. It consists of 1- to 6-chōme. Shimomeguro is home to Ryūsenji (瀧泉寺), also known as Meguro Fudō (目黒不動). Meguro Gajoen (目黒雅叙園) is a historic hotel and restaurant building located on the eastern edge of Shimomeguro.

The Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo (目黒区美術館, Meguro-ku Bijutsukan) is an art gallery in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan.The building was opened in November 1987. Designed by Nihon Sekkei (日本設計事務所), it is of reinforced concrete construction, with one basement floor and three floors above ground, and has floor space of 4059 square metres.The permanent collection of the gallery includes works by such artists as Tsuguharu Fujita, Zenzōrō Kojima (児島善三郎), Shikanosuke Oka (岡鹿之助), Kazuo Sakata (坂田一男), and Kumi Sugai (菅井汲). The museum is at Meguro 2–4–36, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, a ten-minute walk from Meguro Station. The museum holds frequent exhibitions.

Naka-meguro Station (中目黒駅, Nakameguro-eki) is a railway station in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan, jointly operated by Tokyu Corporation and Tokyo Metro. Despite its name, the station is not located in Nakameguro, but in the neighboring Kamimeguro district.

Meguro (目黒区, Meguro-ku) is a special ward in Tokyo, Japan. The English translation of its Japanese self-designation is Meguro City. The ward was founded on March 15, 1947. Meguro is predominantly residential in character, but is also home to light industry, corporate head offices, the Komaba campus of University of Tokyo as well as fifteen foreign embassies and consulates. Residential neighborhoods include, Jiyugaoka, Kakinokizaka, and Nakameguro. As of May 1, 2015, the ward has an estimated population of 277,171 and a population density of 18,890 persons per km2. The total area is 14.67 km2. Meguro is also used to refer to the area around Meguro Station, which is not located in Meguro ward, but in neighboring Shinagawa's Kamiōsaki district.

The Joint Staff College (統合幕僚学校, Tōgō bakuryō gakkō) (abbreviated JSC) is an educational institution administered by the Ministry of Defense's Joint Staff Office. Established in August 1961, it provides post-National Defense Academy of Japan education and professional training to officers.
