Reimerswaal (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌrɛimərsˈʋaːl] ) is a municipality in the province of Zeeland in the southwestern Netherlands on Zuid-Beveland, named after the lost city. The municipality had a population of 22,896 in 2021, and has a surface area of 242.42 km2 (93.60 sq mi) of which 140.62 km2 (54.29 sq mi) is water. The central town Yerseke is known for trade in mussels and oysters. Kruiningen is known for the former ferry from Kruiningen to Perkpolder which was in service up to 2003. The municipality of Reimerswaal was established in 1970, from the aggregation of the municipalities Krabbendijke, Kruiningen, Rilland-Bath, Waarde, and Yerseke. The municipal coat of arms(nl) dates to 1970. The sword in a red field is derived from the coat of arms of the lost city of Reimerswaal in use in the 15th century (Beyeren Armorial p. 107) of gules two swords inverted saltirewise argent and or. In addition, the municipal coat of arms shows the comital arms of Wittelsbach-Hainaut in chief.

Kruiningen is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is located in the municipality of Reimerswaal, about 5 km south of the village of Yerseke.Kruiningen has a station on the railway line Bergen op Zoom - Vlissingen. Kruiningen achieved some notoriety as departure and arrival of the ferry Kruiningen-Perkpolder. In 2003, this ferry closed in connection with the opening of the Westerscheldetunnel.

In 2001 the present head chef Jannis Brevet (ex-Helianthushof) took over. The Oude molen (''Old Mill'' in Dutch) is a windmill in Kruiningen in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The windmill was built in 1801 and remained in operation until 1953. In 1959 it was purchased by the municipality. Between 1964 and 1965, and between 1986 and 1992, the mill was completely restored. In 2001 the mill as a whole was moved slightly after the windage on the old spot was affected. A voluntary miller, the mill is in operation regularly. The rods of the mill are approximately 20.70 meters long and feature the traditional Dutch fencing with sails. The mill is equipped with two pairs of millstones.

Nolet Het Reymerswale is a defunct restaurant in Yerseke in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1976 and retained that rating until 2010.First head chef to earn the Michelin star, in 1976, was father Theo Nolet. From around 1993 son Danny Nolet was in command. The restaurant closed down in October 2010, a victim of the economic recession.

The Canal through Zuid-Beveland (Dutch: Kanaal door Zuid-Beveland) in the southwest Netherlands is the westernmost of two canals crossing the Zuid-Beveland peninsula. It connects the Western Scheldt near Hansweert (to the south of the canal) via a lock complex and the Eastern Scheldt (to the north) with which it has an open connection. The canal is crossed by the Postbrug (which carries N670), a railroad bridge (which carries the Roosendaal–Vlissingen railway), and the Vlake Tunnel (which carries the A58 motorway). In addition, there are two small road bridges built on rollers (one over the southern end of the western lock chamber, and one over the northern end of the eastern lock chamber) which are used by pedestrians, cyclists and horseman.

Yerseke (Dutch: [ˈirsəkə], Zeelandic: [ˈisə]) is a village situated on the southern shore of the Oosterschelde (Eastern Scheldt) estuary in the Dutch province of Zeeland. A separate municipality until 1970, it today forms part of the municipality of Reimerswaal. As of 2010 Yerseke had a recorded population of 6,695 inhabitants, living in 2,680 households.The fishing village is well known for its aquaculture. Tourists visit the oyster pits, harbors and museum of the town and fishing industry, as well as the annual celebration of the mussel harvest (Mosseldag) in August. The village furthermore plays host to the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ).

Schore is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is located in the municipality of Kapelle, about 8 km southwest of Goes. The village was first mentioned in 1253 as Dodinus de Scoren, and means "land on water". Schore is a circular church village. Schore was founded after 1150 when a dike was built around Zuid-Beveland. The village was flooded and destroyed in 1248. It was later rebuilt as a small agricultural community. Schore was home to 261 people in 1840.The old centre was destroyed in 1940 by war, and redesigned by Jordanus Roodenburgh. The Dutch Reformed church is an aisleless church was a narrow needle spire which was completed in 1942.Schore was a separate municipality until 1941, when it was merged with Kapelle.It is part of the province of Zeeland, with a population of 485 people

Oostdijk is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is located in the municipality of Reimerswaal, about 3 km east of the town of Kruiningen.The village was first mentioned in 1899 as Oostdijk, and means eastern dike.Oostdijk was home to 209 people in 1840. The village used to be part of the municipality of Krabbendijke. It was flooded during the North Sea flood of 1953, and six people died. In 1970, it was merged into the municipality Reimerswaal.

The De Hoed Mill is a post mill in Waarde, Netherlands. The structure was originally built as an oil mill in the town of Ghent in 1550, and was converted to a corn mill in the late 17th century. The mill was moved to its current location in 1989. The windmill is listed as a protected structure under rijksmonument number 32419.
