Kampen railway station

The Stedelijk Museum Kampen (lit. Municipal Museum Kampen) is a museum situated in the Old Town Hall of Kampen. The collection has four main topics: water, religion, justice and the House of Orange-Nassau. There are also five to six temporary exhibitions on contemporary art a year.

The City Hall, Kampen is an old city hall in Kampen, Overijssel. Both the older, Gothic portion and the newer, neo-classical building for the government offices form a Rijksmonument complex. It is used for weddings and other official proceedings. The older portion is in use as the local museum of Kampen.

The Bovenkerk (English: Upper Church; also known as the Church of St. Nicholas) is a large, Gothic church and the most striking element on the skyline of Kampen, Overijssel, Netherlands. The interior of the church contains an early-Renaissance choir screen, a stone pulpit and a monumental organ. The church has 1,250 seats. It is a Reformed church.

IJsselmuiden is a town in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located in the municipality of Kampen, northeast of that city across the river IJssel. IJsselmuiden was a separate municipality until 2001, when it became a part of Kampen. IJsselmuiden has an old church, dating back to 1200.

A member of the former Hanseatic League, it is located at the lower reaches of the river IJssel. The municipality of Kampen had a population of 54,474 in 2021 and covers an area of 161.79 square kilometres (62.47 square miles). Kampen is located in the North West of Overijssel and is the largest city in this region. The city of Kampen itself has around 37,000 inhabitants. Kampen has one of the best preserved old town centres of the Netherlands, including remains of the ancient city wall (of which three gates are still standing) and numerous churches. Also notable are the three bridges over the IJssel which connect Kampen with IJsselmuiden and Kampereiland, the agricultural area between the branches which form the IJssel delta, and a windmill (d' Olde Zwarver – the Old Vagabond). Since November 2018, the town and some communes are on a river island. Between the 14th and 16th century it was one of the biggest towns in the Northern Netherlands (modern day European Netherlands). The town is about 90 kilometer northeast of Amsterdam. Traditionally people in Kampen speak a variation of the Sallands dialect, known as Kampers.

Kampen Zuid is a railway station in the Netherlands, located on the Lelystad–Zwolle railway, also known as the Hanzelijn. The station is located in the south of Kampen, Overijssel. The station opened on 9 December 2012, with there being 2 platforms and 2 tracks. InterCity trains from The Hague and Schiphol to Groningen and Leeuwarden pass through the station on the middle tracks.

Grafhorst is a small city about 3 km north of Kampen, in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It received city rights in 1333 from Jan van Diest, the Prince-Bishop of Utrecht.It was first mentioned in 1277 as Grafhorst, and means "burial height". Even though it was given city rights, it was never fortified and remained small. In 1775 and 1825, it was flooded. The economy used to be based in fishing with some agriculture culture. In 1849, it was home to 411 people. On 5 May 1849, nearly the entire city burnt down except for some farms and a couple of remote houses. In 1962, a church was built.Grafhorst was a separate municipality until 1937, when it became a part of IJsselmuiden; it is now a part of Kampen.

Noordeinde is a village in the municipality of Oldebroek in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. Noordeinde has 215 inhabitants (2000). It was first described between 1830 as 1855 Kamper Nieuwstad. In 1970, it was renamed Noordeinde (North end), because it was at the northern part of the municipality. In 1840, it was home to 155 people. In 1845, a church was built.
