Museum Europäischer Kulturen

The Museum of Asian Art (German: Museum für Asiatische Kunst) is located in the Dahlem neighborhood of the borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Berlin, Germany. It is one of the Berlin State Museums institutions and is funded by the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. It houses some 20,000 Asian artifacts, making it one of the largest museums of ancient Asian art in the world. The museum is located in the same building as the Ethnological Museum of Berlin. The museum houses important collections of Art houses of South, Southeast and Central Asian countries and art from the Indo-Asian cultural area, from the 4th millennium BC to the present. Its geographic reach covers regions in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Autonomous Region of Tibet and Xinjiang of the People's Republic of China, the Southeast Asian countries of Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and also the Indonesian Islands or archipelago.

Dahlem Museums (Museen Dahlem) is a complex in the Berlin-Dahlem district of Berlin. Its official address is at 8 Lansstraße, though its main entrance is at 25 Arnimallee. The earliest planning for the building was between 1914 and 1923, thanks to the efforts of Wilhelm von Bode and to designs by Bruno Paul. However, it was only eventually built between 1969 and 1973 to New Objectivity plans by Fritz Bornemann and Wils Ebert.It originally housed the Ethnological Museum (including what later became the Museum of Asian Art) and the Gemäldegalerie. The Gemäldegalerie moved out to new premises in June 1998 and the Museum Europäischer Kulturen moved into the building in 2011. The Dahlem galleries housing the Ethnological Museum and Museum for Asian Art both closed in January 2017 ready to re-open in 2019 in the Humboldt Forum.

The Berliner Phonogramm-Archiv is a collection of ethnomusicological recordings or world music, mostly on phonographic cylinders, assembled since 1900 in Berlin, Germany by the institution of the same name.

Dahlem-Dorf is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the . It serves the neighborhood of Dahlem and is one of two main stations used by students of the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin), the other being Freie Universität (Thielplatz).

The Dahlem Manor (German: Domäne Dahlem) is an open-air museum for agriculture and food culture in southwestern Berlin. It is the historical manor of the former village of Dahlem. The manor has been in service for over 800 years.

The Secret State Archives Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (German: Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz or GStA PK) is an agency of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation headquartered in Berlin, Germany. A Federal statutory body, it is one of the largest repositories of primary source documents in Germany and spans the history of Prussia, Brandenburg, the House of Hohenzollern and the Prussian Army. Insofar as the agency represents over 400 years of archival work of the former states of Brandenburg-Prussia, including their main roots in the Teutonic Knights, the Archives can be said to cover "nine centuries of European history between Königsberg and Cleves."

Dahlem (German: [ˈdaːlɛm] (listen) or [ˈdaːləm]) is a locality of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf borough in southwestern Berlin. Until Berlin's 2001 administrative reform it was a part of the former borough of Zehlendorf. It is located between the mansion settlements of Grunewald and Lichterfelde West. Dahlem is one of the most affluent parts of the city and a center for academic research. It is home to the Freie Universität Berlin, with its architecturally significant Philological Library ("The Brain"). Several other research institutions and museums, as well as parts of the Grunewald forest with its renaissance hunting lodge, are located in Dahlem. The U3 line of the Berlin U-Bahn system connects Dahlem to central Berlin.

The Philological Library (German: Philologische Bibliothek) is a component of the "Rust and Silver Lodges" complex in the main campus of the Freie Universität Berlin. It was designed by internationally known architect Norman Foster, Baron Foster of Thames Bank in the shape of a human brain, and opened in 2005. The library merges the separate smaller libraries of the departments and institutes of humanities and now contains: General and Comparative literature Byzantine/ Modern Greek studies English studies German studies Comparative and Indo-European Linguistics Classics Dutch Linguistics and Literature Indian Linguistics and Literature/ South Asian Studies Latin American Studies Medieval Latin Language and Literature Philosophy (since 2007) Romance studies Slavic studiesIt has become the centerpiece of the university's Dahlem campus and a Berlin architectural landmark.

The Dahlem Cemetery (German: Friedhof Dahlem, sometimes improperly referred to as Friedhof Dahlem-Dorf), is a cemetery in Berlin-Dahlem. The cemetery was built according to the plans of the architects Friedrich and Wilhelm Hennigs.

The Myanmar Ambassador in Berlin is the official representative of the Government in Naypyidaw to the Government of Germany. Since January 30, 1986, she is concurrently as Myanmar Ambassador to the Czech Republic in Pargue coacredited.

The Bowls Player is an 1857 bronze statue by the Danish sculptor Georg Christian Freund. It is a modern adaptation of classical sculptures of athletes such as Polykleitos's Doryphoros and Myron's Discobolus. The plaster model for the work and the first casting from it were lost in the fire which destroyed the Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen in 1884. Three other casts are known to survive: Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen National Gallery of Denmark, Copenhagen Alte Nationalgalerie, Berlin - previously owned by the archaeologist Theodor Wiegand and now on long-term loan to his house in Berlin-Dahlem, where it is displayed on the terrace as it was during Wiegand's lifetime
