Slangerup Abbey

Slangerup Church (Danish: Slangerup Kirke) or St Michael's Church (Danish: Skt. Michaels Kirke) is an Evangelical Lutheran church located in the centre of Slangerup, Frederikssund Municipality, Denmark.

Slangerup is a town in Frederikssund Municipality, about 30 km north-west of central Copenhagen, in the Capital Region of Denmark.

Jørlunde Church (Danish: Jørlunde Kirke) is a late Viking age/early medieval church situated in Jørlunde, Denmark. The church was built by Skjalm Hvide around the year 1085.

Jørlunde is a village with a population of 290 (1 January 2023) in North Zealand in Denmark. In the late Viking age and early medieval age, Jørlunde was the center of the Hvide clan. Jørlunde Church (Joerlunde Kirke) was erected by Skjalm Hvide around the year 1100.

Ølstykke station is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network of Copenhagen, Denmark.The station is located where the railway to Frederikssund crosses the main road between Roskilde and Hillerød. This puts it quite a distance away from the old village of Ølstykke, but a new station town grew up around the station after the railway opened in 1879. Since 2002, the area around the old village has been served by a station of its own, Gammel Toftegård. Gammel Toftegård station later changed name to Egedal station. Vinge station 3.3 km (2 miles) northwest of Ølstykke station opened 14 December 2020. It is served by the C line.

Buresø is a lake located in a tunnel valley, immediately southeast of Slangerup, where Allerød, Frederikssund and Egedal municipalities meet. The tunnel valley, which was formed during the last ice age, runs in an east-west direction and can be followed along Mølleåen all the way to the Øresund coast. Between Buresø and the nearby Bastrup Sø there is a watershed. Buresø drains via Græse Å to the west to Roskilde Fjord, Bastrup Sø drains to the east to Mølleåen. Buresø and surroundings is part of Naturpark Mølleåen.

Ølstykke is a former municipality in Region Hovedstaden. The former Ølstykke municipality covered an area of 29 km2, and had a total population of 15,358 (2005). Its last mayor was Svend Kjærgaard, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. On 1 January 2007, Ølstykke municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Ledøje-Smørum and Stenløse municipalities to form the new Egedal municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 126 km2 and a total population of 39,267 (2005).

Ølstykke Stationsby, commonly known as Ølstykke, is a town in Egedal Municipality, serving as its municipal seat. Until 1 January 2010 Ølstykke was an independent city, but today it has merged with Stenløse and forms the urban area of Ølstykke-Stenløse with 23,130 inhabitants. The town is on the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland), in eastern Denmark.

Skævinge is a town with a population of 2,859 (1 January 2023) and a former municipality (Danish, kommune) in Hillerød municipality in Capital Region of Denmark in the northern part of the island of Sealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The former Skævinge municipality covered an area of 68 km², and had a total population of 6,046 (2005). On 1 January 2007 Skævinge municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged into existing Hillerød municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 191 km² and a total population of ca. 43,337.

Egedal is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2011 it changed name from Gl. Toftegård Station to Egedal station.

Ølstykke-Stenløse is a city located in the Egedal Municipality, in the Capital Region of Denmark. Both Ølstykke and Stenløse has been counted as one city by Statistics Denmark from 1 January 2010, and it forms the eastern part of the city closest to Copenhagen, 25 kilometers in a straight line northwest of City Hall Square, as well as Gammel Ølstykke and Ølstykke Stationsby in the west. It is Denmark's 29th largest city (2023), with a population of 23,130 (2023), and the largest city in Egedal Municipality.

Buresø, is a small town in Egedal Municipality. It has a population of 453 (2023). The town is located on the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland), in eastern Denmark.
