Buresø (town)

Buresø is a lake located in a tunnel valley, immediately southeast of Slangerup, where Allerød, Frederikssund and Egedal municipalities meet. The tunnel valley, which was formed during the last ice age, runs in an east-west direction and can be followed along Mølleåen all the way to the Øresund coast. Between Buresø and the nearby Bastrup Sø there is a watershed. Buresø drains via Græse Å to the west to Roskilde Fjord, Bastrup Sø drains to the east to Mølleåen. Buresø and surroundings is part of Naturpark Mølleåen.

Ølstykke-Stenløse is a city located in the Egedal Municipality, in the Capital Region of Denmark. Both Ølstykke and Stenløse has been counted as one city by Statistics Denmark from 1 January 2010, and it forms the eastern part of the city closest to Copenhagen, 25 kilometers in a straight line northwest of City Hall Square, as well as Gammel Ølstykke and Ølstykke Stationsby in the west. It is Denmark's 29th largest city (2023), with a population of 23,130 (2023), and the largest city in Egedal Municipality.

Melchior's Dower House (Danish: Melchiors Enkesæde), situated in a small public greenspace at the corner of Byvej and Engholmvej in Stenløse, Egedal Municipality, some 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark, was built to provide housing for widows of rectors, parish clerks and school teachers. Built in 1802, it is the second oldest building in Stenløse (after Stenløse Church). It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1868.

Egedal is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2011 it changed name from Gl. Toftegård Station to Egedal station.

Since January 1, 2010, it has merged with Ølstykke and forms the urban area of Ølstykke-Stenløse with 23,130 inhabitants. It was also the municipal seat of Stenløse Municipality, which covered an area of 65 km2 (25 sq mi), and had a total population of 13,384 (2005).

Stenløse station is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in around Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located centrally in the town of Stenløse.
