Ølstykke-Stenløse

Egedal is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2011 it changed name from Gl. Toftegård Station to Egedal station.

Melchior's Dower House (Danish: Melchiors Enkesæde), situated in a small public greenspace at the corner of Byvej and Engholmvej in Stenløse, Egedal Municipality, some 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark, was built to provide housing for widows of rectors, parish clerks and school teachers. Built in 1802, it is the second oldest building in Stenløse (after Stenløse Church). It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1868.

Egedal Municipality (Danish: Egedal Kommune) is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden in Denmark. It covers an area of 125.79 km2 (48.57 sq mi) with a total population of 45,202 (1. January 2023).

Ølstykke station is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network of Copenhagen, Denmark.The station is located where the railway to Frederikssund crosses the main road between Roskilde and Hillerød. This puts it quite a distance away from the old village of Ølstykke, but a new station town grew up around the station after the railway opened in 1879. Since 2002, the area around the old village has been served by a station of its own, Gammel Toftegård. Gammel Toftegård station later changed name to Egedal station. Vinge station 3.3 km (2 miles) northwest of Ølstykke station opened 14 December 2020. It is served by the C line.

Until 1 January 2010 Ølstykke was an independent city, but today it has merged with Stenløse and forms the urban area of Ølstykke-Stenløse with 23,130 inhabitants. The town is on the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland), in eastern Denmark.

Ølstykke is a former municipality in Region Hovedstaden. The former Ølstykke municipality covered an area of 29 km2, and had a total population of 15,358 (2005). Its last mayor was Svend Kjærgaard, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. On 1 January 2007, Ølstykke municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Ledøje-Smørum and Stenløse municipalities to form the new Egedal municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 126 km2 and a total population of 39,267 (2005).

Søsum is a small town located in the Egedal Municipality, in the Capital Region of Denmark.

Buresø is a lake located in a tunnel valley, immediately southeast of Slangerup, where Allerød, Frederikssund and Egedal municipalities meet. The tunnel valley, which was formed during the last ice age, runs in an east-west direction and can be followed along Mølleåen all the way to the Øresund coast. Between Buresø and the nearby Bastrup Sø there is a watershed. Buresø drains via Græse Å to the west to Roskilde Fjord, Bastrup Sø drains to the east to Mølleåen. Buresø and surroundings is part of Naturpark Mølleåen.

Buresø, is a small town in Egedal Municipality. It has a population of 453 (2023). The town is located on the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland), in eastern Denmark.
