Saint-Maurice (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ moʁis] (listen)) is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 6.8 km (4.2 mi) from the center of Paris. The insane asylum Charenton was located in Saint-Maurice; it is now a psychiatric hospital.

The Arboretum de l'École du Breuil (12 hectares) is a municipal arboretum located on the Route de la Ferme in the southeast corner of the Bois de Vincennes, Paris, France. It now forms part of the Jardin botanique de la Ville de Paris. The École du Breuil (25 hectares) was created in 1867 by Baron Haussmann as the city's school of horticulture and arboriculture, and named for Alphonse Du Breuil, professor at the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers, who taught arboriculture from 1867 to 1887. It was originally located on 4 hectares in Saint-Mandé near today's Palais de la Porte Dorée but in 1936 transferred to its current location. Today the arboretum contains about 2000 trees, representing 112 genera, 485 species, and 400 cultivars and varieties (885 taxa), as well as several collections of shrubs representing about 1,000 taxa. Of particular interest are its collections of heritage apple and pear trees (about 400 varieties), and its excellent lilac collection (about 300 varieties) which has been recognized by the Conservatoire des Collections Végétales Spécialisées (CCVS).

The redoute de Gravelle (Gravelle redoubt) is a fort in Joinville-le-Pont, situated to the south-east of Vincennes in Paris. Built under Louis-Philippe, from 1968 it housed the École nationale de police de Paris (ENPP), before becoming an illegal immigrants detention centre. Its south face is decorated with Auguste Arnaud's statue of a skirmisher, formerly placed next to one of a zouave on the old pont de l'Alma, but moved to its present position after the construction of the A4 autoroute in 1973. The statue is visible from the A4.

Stade Pershing (French pronunciation: ​[stad pɛʁʃiŋ]) was a multi-purpose stadium in the Bois de Vincennes in Paris, France. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the final of the Coupe de France on four occasions. It hosted the Inter-Allied Games in 1919 and the first Women's World Games in 1922. It also hosted some of the football matches during the 1924 Summer Olympics. The stadium was able to hold 29,000 spectators at its height; it opened in 1919 and closed in 1960. Its area currently hosts baseball games. Construction of the stadium was originally contracted to a French firm. However, labour disputes stopped all work. At this time, the engineers of the United States Army intervened and completed construction. It hosted the Inter-Allied Games, and then was presented as a gift from the US to France after the games concluded. At the June 22, 1919 inauguration ceremony, YMCA Chief Secretary Edward Clark Carter delivered the stadium to General Pershing, who in turn, immediately presented the deed to French Minister of Marine Georges Leygues.An exhibition match at Stade Pershing between the England and Australian national rugby league football teams in December 1933 (won 63–13 by the Australians) as part of the Australian teams 1933–34 Kangaroo Tour, inspired the beginnings of rugby league in France.

Hippodrome de Vincennes is a horse racing track located in Paris, France. It has a capacity of 60,000. It was created in 1863 and rebuilt in 1879, after being destroyed in the Franco-Prussian War. Saint-Maur Abbey (French: Abbaye de Saint-Maur), originally called the Abbaye des Fossés, is a former abbey now subsumed in the Saint-Maur-des-Fossés suburb of Paris, France. The remains and the domain of the abbey have been transformed into a pleasure park named Parc de l'abbaye. The former abbey building has been replaced by a square at the corner of Avenue de Condé and Rue de l'Abbaye. Some ruins remain, such as the Rabelais tower, the 19th century Bourières villa and the old fortifications. The remains of the abbey have been classified as historical monuments since June 13, 1988.

The Pole France feminin de Football (English: French Women's Football Pole), formally the Centre national de formation et d'entraînement de Clairefontaine (English: National Education and Training Center Clairefontaine) is a French training center specializing in women's football, opened in 1998 and administered by the French Football Federation. Formerly located on the Montjoye estate in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, since 2014 the Pole has been located at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) in Paris. From 2002 through 2007, CNFE Clairefontaine, as it was commonly known, played in the Division 1 Féminine.

INSEP, the National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (Institut national du sport, de l'expertise et de la performance), is a French training institute and center for excellence in sports that trains elite athletes. It is located on the outskirts of Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes.

Saint-Maur–Créteil (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃moʁ kʁetɛi]) is a railway station in the commune of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne.
