Sandhurst railway station, known by National Rail as Sandhurst (Berks), serves the town of Sandhurst in Berkshire, England. The station is managed by Great Western Railway, who operate services on the North Downs Line from Reading to Guildford, Redhill and Gatwick Airport. The station is located 11.5 miles (18.5 km) south-east of Reading. Sandhurst station has two platforms: platform 1 for services towards Gatwick Airport and platform 2 for services towards Reading. The station is unstaffed; it has an enquiries and emergencies telephone situated at the bottom of platform 1. The station uses LED-based live departure boards and audio announcements for reporting arrivals and delays to commuters. As of 2020, the station has neither a ticket office nor a ticket machine; tickets therefore have to be purchased on a train or on-line.

Wellington College Bog is a 6.2-hectare (15-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in the grounds of Wellington College on the northern outskirts of Sandhurst in Berkshire.The site features a valley bog, which is one of the richest in the county, in terms of bryophytes and flowering plants, containing several species which are uncommon or rare in southern Britain.

Edgbarrow Woods is a 36.8-hectare (91-acre) Local Nature Reserve on the northern outskirts of Sandhurst in Berkshire. It is owned and managed by Wellington College.

Wildmoor Heath is a 91-hectare (220-acre) nature reserve south of Crowthorne in Berkshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. The reserve is part of two Sites of Special Scientific Interest: Wildmoor Heath itself is part of Sandhurst to Owlsmoor Bogs and Heaths and a separate area called Broadmoor Bottom is part of Broadmoor to Bagshot Woods and Heaths.This sloping site has wet and dry heath and woodland. There are also areas of bog which are grazed by Dexter cattle to keep down the growth of coarse purple moor-grass; twenty species of damselfly and dragonfly have been recorded in the bogs and plants include bog asphodel, butterwort, round-leaved sundew and white beaked-sedge.There is no doubt that this will help to protect many species found on the lowland heath. This beautiful conservation area attracts people from different places in the United Kingdom.

Part of the SSSI is Wildmoor Heath nature reserve, which is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. and the SSSI is part of Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area.

Edgbarrow School is a secondary Academy School in Crowthorne, Berkshire, England. The school is the main state secondary school in the area, and includes Edgbarrow Sixth Form College. It previously held the title of a Business and Enterprise College as a specialist school. The school has approximately 1410 pupils, most of whom come from Crowthorne schools, such as Wildmoor Heath School and Oaklands School, Hatch Ride school and Crowthorne C of E school . The school teaches 11- to 18-year-olds, and has some of the best results in Bracknell Forest at GCSE of any non-selective state schools.

Frogmore is a small suburban village in the northeast of the civil parish of Yateley in the county of Hampshire, England.The origin of the place-name is from the Old English words frogga and mere, meaning "pool frequented by frogs".It adjoins Darby Green and lies between the towns of Yateley and Blackwater, and lies 32 miles (51 km) west-south-west of London. The county borders of both Berkshire (Bracknell Forest) and Surrey (Surrey Heath) are approximately one mile away. Wellington College is a private school (English fee-charging boarding and day school) in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire, England. Wellington is a registered charity and currently educates roughly 1,200 pupils, between the ages of 13 and 18. The college was built as a national monument to the first Duke of Wellington (1769–1852), in whose honour it is named. Queen Victoria laid the foundation stone in 1856 and inaugurated the School's public opening on 29 January 1859. Many former Wellington pupils fought in the trenches during the First World War, a conflict in which 707 of them lost their lives, many volunteering for military service immediately after leaving school. A further 501 former pupils were killed in action in the Second World War.The school is a member of the Rugby Group of 18 British public schools and is also a member of the G20 Schools group. For the academic year 2022/23, Wellington charged boarders up to £15,030 per term, or £45,090 per annum.
