Stratton railway station served the village of Stratton St Margaret, in the historic county of Wiltshire, England, from 1883 to 1953 on the Highworth branch line.

Stratton St Margaret is a civil parish in the Borough of Swindon, Wiltshire, England. The parish covers north-eastern suburbs of Swindon including Stratton St Margaret itself along with Upper Stratton, Lower Stratton and Kingsdown. Since May 2015, Nythe has been legally separated from Stratton St. Margaret and now forms its own parish council.

Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd (informally HUM) was a British automotive manufacturing company, and the United Kingdom-based manufacturing subsidiary of the multinational automotive company Honda. Based in Swindon, England, HUKM operated manufacturing plants that included casting, engine assembly, pressing, welding, painting, and car assembly activities. At the time of its closure, it employed around 3,400 people at the plants, which occupied a site covering around 370 acres.Honda has made a total investment of over £1.5 billion in the Swindon plants. In 2008, HUKM produced 230,423 cars. By 2016 annual unit production was down to 134,146 units, although this still represented an increase of 12.3% over the figure for 2015. In early 2019, it was announced the entire manufacturing plant in Swindon would close, which was later confirmed by Honda. The plant closed on 30 July 2021, officially ending over 36 years of Honda production in Europe.

Stratton Park Halt served the community of Stratton St Margaret, now part of the Borough of Swindon in Wiltshire, England. The station was on the main Great Western Railway line from London to Bristol and opened around 1840. The Beeching cuts brought its closure in 1964, by which time it was only served by five trains per day.

St. Joseph's Catholic College (formerly St Joseph's Comprehensive School) is a secondary school in Swindon, England. The school opened in 1958 and was the town's first Catholic school, offering education to students aged 11 to 16. Today it remains the only Roman Catholic secondary education provider in Swindon, but is open to other religions. New College Swindon Football Club was a football club based in Swindon, Wiltshire, England. Part of New College, Swindon, they played until the summer of 2020 in the Hellenic League at the Supermarine RFC ground in South Marston.

Swindon Academy is a non-selective co-educational school within the English academy programme, in the Pinehurst area of Swindon, north of the town centre. It caters for children aged 3 to 19 and has 1,769 pupils on roll as of January 2020.
