Cornish College of the Arts

The Ivey on Boren is a residential high-rise building in Seattle, Washington. The 44-story skyscraper, located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood at the border of South Lake Union, was completed in 2022. The building contains 406 luxury apartments, 53,567 sq ft (4,976.5 m2) of office space, and 7,785 sq ft (723.3 m2) of arts facilities operated by Cornish College of the Arts. The building is named after William Ivey (1919–1992), a celebrated Seattle abstract expressionist painter and alumnus of Cornish College of the Arts. The design emphasizes wellness and incorporates organic themes throughout, with ground-level art galleries and performance spaces that serve as a public-facing arts hub for Cornish.

The Ayer is a residential high-rise building in Seattle, Washington. The 45-story skyscraper, located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood, was completed in 2023 with 454 luxury apartments and ground-floor retail space. The building is named after Elizabeth Ayer (1897–1987), the first woman to graduate from the University of Washington architecture program and the first woman licensed as an architect in Washington State. The Ayer shares a city block with its sister building, The Ivey on Boren, another Holland Partner Group development. Both projects were designed by Weber Thompson to support Cornish College of the Arts while providing luxury urban living in Seattle's rapidly growing South Lake Union area.

1120 Denny Way is a complex of two high-rise residential buildings that are under construction in South Lake Union, Seattle, Washington, United States. The buildings will both be 41 stories tall, with a total of 1,179 apartments, and connected by a 12-story podium with retail and amenity space. 1120 Denny Way is being developed by Onni Group, which is also redeveloping the adjacent Seattle Times Building site. The project began construction in 2017 and is planned to be completed in 2022.

Stratus is a residential high-rise building in Seattle, Washington. The 43-story skyscraper, located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood, was completed in 2017, with 396 apartments and ground-floor retail space. Stratus is located across the street from Cirrus, another apartment building developed by GID that opened in 2015. Both buildings, designed by Weber Thompson, are named after cloud types stratus and cirrus, respectively.

Cirrus is a 440-foot-tall (130 m) residential skyscraper in the Denny Triangle neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The building, named after the cirrus cloud, has 41 floors and is located at the intersection of Westlake Avenue, 8th Avenue and Lenora Street. Construction on Cirrus, then known as 2030 8th Avenue, began in May 2013 and opened in 2015. The building was originally designed for condominiums but was reconfigured for smaller apartments by architects Weber Thompson after GID Development desired a move to the rental market.The building opened in October 2015, with the average monthly rent for a 1-bedroom apartment at $2,903. GID Development has also developed a second apartment building named "Stratus" across Lenora Street from Cirrus.

Kiara (also known as 970 Denny Way) is a residential skyscraper in Seattle, Washington. The 40-story, 435-foot-tall (133 m) tower has 461 apartments and was completed in 2018. It is first skyscraper in the South Lake Union neighborhood and is one of the few highrise buildings outside of Downtown Seattle. The building is located at the intersection of Denny Way and Terry Avenue, near the headquarters of The Seattle Times and the Cornish College of the Arts.

1918 Eighth Avenue is a 500-foot-tall (150 m) skyscraper in the Denny Regrade neighborhood of Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. It was completed in 2009 and has 36 floors, consisting mostly of office space. On August 25, 2008, the tower gained its first tenant, law firm Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro. The firm leased 21,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of the building. The 658,744-square-foot (61,199.3 m2) building was developed by Schnitzer West, LLC and is now owned by an affiliate of JPMorgan Chase, which purchased it for $350 million after Schnitzer put it up for sale in May 2011, shortly after Amazon.com signed a long-term lease for more than two thirds of the office space.

Casey Family Programs (CFP) is a national operating foundation focused on foster care and child welfare.Based in Seattle, Washington, Casey Family Programs works in 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. It has offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, New York, Texas and Washington.The foundation, established by United Parcel Service founder James E. Casey in 1966, has a stated mission "to provide and improve—and ultimately prevent the need for—foster care" in the United States.

Ren, stylized as REN and also known as Denny Centre, is a future high-rise building that is under construction in the Denny Triangle neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, United States. The 42-story tower will have 440 apartments and is located on a triangular lot at the intersection of Denny Way and Fairview Avenue. Construction began in 2018 and is expected to be completed in early 2022.

The Seattle Times Building is the former headquarters of The Seattle Times, located in Seattle, Washington, United States. The three-story building was occupied by the newspaper from 1931 to 2011, replacing the Times Square Building. It was originally built in 1931 and later expanded to accommodate more office space and larger presses. The exterior and roof of the Seattle Times Building were designated a city landmark in 1996. Designed by Robert C. Reamer with elements of the Art Deco and Moderne styles, the reinforced concrete building was representative of early 20th century architecture in Seattle. The newspaper moved out of the building in 2011 and sold it in 2013 to Onni Group, a Canadian real estate developer, who plans to build four residential skyscrapers on the site and adjacent parking lot to the south. Onni plans to preserve the building's facade and integrate it into the podium of a 240-foot-tall (73 m) building, converting it into a rooftop balcony. Demolition of the building began in October 2016, after incidents involving squatters on the property.

Wash.) is the federal district court whose jurisdiction comprises the following counties of the state of Washington: Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit, Skamania, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum, and Whatcom. Its courthouse, built in 2004, is located at 7th and Stewart in Seattle. As of the 2020 census, 6 million people resided in the Western District, representing 78% of the state's population. The district includes the cities of Bellingham, Bremerton, Seattle, Bellevue, Olympia, Vancouver, Everett, and Tacoma, amongst others. The court is divided into two divisions by counties as follows: Seattle Division - Island, King, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom Tacoma Division - Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Skamania, Thurston, Wahkiakum Cases from the Western District of Washington are appealed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (except for patent claims and claims against the U.S. government under the Tucker Act, which are appealed to the Federal Circuit). The United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court. As of February 3, 2025, the acting United States attorney is Teal Luthy Miller.

Corixa was a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company based in Seattle, Washington involved in the development of immunotherapeutics to combat autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and cancer. It was founded in 1994. It operated a laboratory and production facility in Hamilton, Montana. The name Corixa comes from the true bug (Insecta: Hemiptera: Heteroptera) genus Corixa (family Corixidae, Water boatman), described by Geoffroy, in 1762. On 12 July 2005, the European pharmaceuticals giant GlaxoSmithKline completed the acquisition of Corixa. GSK had formerly made use of the Corixa's MPL (Monophosphoryl lipid A, a derivative of the lipid A molecule), an adjuvant in some of their vaccines. On 31 March 2006, Corixa's doors closed after over 11 years in business.
