Nunobiki Dam

Nunobiki Falls (布引の滝, Nunobiki no Taki) is a set of waterfalls near downtown Kobe, Japan, with an important significance in Japanese literature and Japanese art. In Japan, Nunobiki is considered one of the greatest "divine falls" together with Kegon Falls and Nachi Falls. Nunobiki waterfalls comprises four separate falls: Ontaki, Mentaki, Tsutsumigadaki, and Meotodaki.

The Nunobiki Herb Garden (布引ハーブ園, Nunobiki Hābu-en, 40 acres) is a herb garden located on Mount Rokkō above Kobe, Japan. It is open daily; an admission fee is charged. The garden is accessed by Shin-Kobe Ropeway gondola lift from downtown Kobe. It features over 75,000 herbs (200 varieties), plus greenhouses, restaurant and cafe, museums, exhibits, and gift shops. The garden was built in 1991.

The Shin-Kōbe Ropeway (新神戸ロープウェー, Shin-Kōbe Rōpuwē) is Japanese aerial lift line in Kōbe, Hyōgo, operated by Kōbe City Urban Development. It has an official nickname Kōbe Yume-Fūsen (神戸夢風船, "Kōbe Dreamy Baloon"). Opened in 1991, the line links Shin-Kōbe Station and Nunobiki Herb Garden. Its scenic view is popular among tourists.

Shin-Kōbe station (新神戸駅, Shin-Kōbe-eki) is a railway station on the San'yō Shinkansen and the Seishin-Yamate Line serving the city of Kobe, Japan, and the surrounding area. It is located to the north of Kobe city centre, at the foot of Mount Rokkō. The Shinkansen trains mostly run inside tunnels under the mountains in this area. The station exists in a small space in between two long tunnels (Rokkō and Kobe Tunnels). This station was newly built for the San'yō Shinkansen and is connected with the city center by the Kobe Municipal Subway.

The Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum is a museum of carpentry tools in Kobe, Japan. The museum was opened in 1984 with the objective of collecting and conserving ancient tools as an example of Japanese cultural heritage, in order to pass them on to the next generation through research and exhibitions.More than 30,500 pieces of materials have been collected so far, and the museum has held exhibitions, lectures, seminars, classes outside of the museum, and workshops on the people who make use of the tools, as well as the resulting architecture and the culture of wood that surrounds it.The project was designed and constructed by the Takenaka Corporation in collaboration with skilled woodworkers.

The Kobe City Archives (神戸市文書館, Kōbe-shi Bunshokan) is the archive of the city of Kobe in Japan. It contains records dating back to the mid 19th century. The building containing the archive is currently located in the Chuo district of Kobe, near Shin-Kobe Station. The building is in Art Deco style, and was recognised as a "significant building" in 2000.

Kobe Institute of Computing; Graduate School of Information Technology (神戸情報大学院大学, Kōbe jōhō daigakuin daigaku) is a private university in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

Kitano-chō (北野町) or Kitano Ijinkan (北野異人館) is a historical district in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, which contains a number of foreign residences from the late Meiji and early Taishō eras of Japanese history. While the term ijinkan (異人館) can refer to any foreign residence of this period in Japan, it usually refers to those of Kitano given the number and high concentration of those that remain. Ijinkan districts exist in other locales (notably Hakodate and Nagasaki), but due to war and natural disasters, these districts are not as well preserved.While some of the houses still serve as residences, many are open to tourists, making Kitano-chō one of the principal tourist attractions in Kobe.

Kobe Ryūkoku Junior High School and Kobe Ryūkoku High School (神戸龍谷中学校・高等学校, Kōbe Ryūkoku Chūgakkō・Kōtōgakkō) are private Japanese Buddhist schools located in Kobe, Japan. In 2002 the schools took on their current name and both boys and girls were allowed to matriculate for the first time. The school uniform was also changed to the COMME CA DU MODE (in Japanese) School Label.

Kobe Masjid (神戸モスク, Kōbe Mosuku), also known as Kobe Muslim Masjid (神戸ムスリムモスク, Kōbe Musurimu Mosuku), was founded in October 1935 in Kobe and is Japan's first masjid. Its construction was funded by donations collected by the Islamic Committee of Kobe from 1928 until its opening in 1935. The mosque was confiscated by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1943. However, it continues to function as a mosque today. It is located in the Kitano-cho foreign district of Kobe. The mosque survived the air raids that laid waste to most of Kobe's urban districts in 1945 and was able to endure through the Great Hanshin earthquake in 1995. The mosque is located in one of Kobe's best-known tourist areas, which features many old western style buildings. The mosque was built in traditional Indo-Islamic style by the Czech architect Jan Josef Švagr (1885–1969), the architect of a number of Western religious buildings throughout Japan. In recent years, there are more than 110 mosques in Japan.

Ikuta Shrine (生田神社, Ikuta-jinja) is a Shinto shrine in the Chūō Ward of Kobe, Japan, and is possibly among the oldest shrines in the country. It was founded by Empress Jingu when she returned from the Three Han (三韓, Korea) campaign.She was nearly shipwrecked but managed to survive thanks to praying to Watatsumi, and she made the shrine to honor him. Ikasuri Shrine and Watatsumi Shrine were both also made at the same time by the Empress.It contains the Settsu Sannomiya

Sannomiya Station (三ノ宮駅, Sannomiya eki) is a railway station in Nunobiki-chō, Chūō-ku, Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, and is operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West). The station is on the JR Kobe Line which runs between Osaka Station and Himeji Station; part of the Tōkaidō Main Line. As a part of the JR West Urban Network, the following IC cards are accepted: ICOCA, Suica, PiTaPa, TOICA, and SUGOCA. Sannomiya Station is the main terminal for Kobe and is approximately 2 km east of Kōbe Station. At the beginning of the Meiji period commercial and administrative functions were centred around Kobe Station. However, after Kobe opened as a port for foreign trade, and continuing with the post-World War II reconstruction and expansion of commercial areas, as well as moving Kobe City Hall to the Sannomiya area, the district soon became the new city centre. Even now, Kobe Station is still the representative station of Kobe. For example, in relation to the calculation of Shinkansen fares, Sannomiya Station is not the closest of the old network train stations. On the other hand, the number of passengers using Sannomiya Station is greater than that of Kobe Station. Also, the Kobe Terminal for highway buses is in front of Sannomiya Station, not Kobe Station. Likewise, there are more limited express trains, including overnight trains, which stop at Sannomiya Station than at Kobe Station.
