The Óbuda Synagogue is a synagogue built in Óbuda, Hungary, in 1820–1821.

They were subcontracted for these specials so that the regular Simpsons studios like AKOM, Rough Draft Studios, and Anivision were not burdened with extra work and could concentrate on animating full episodes.From 2000, the studio produced cartoons as a subcontractor to Varga Holdings, which was established at the time, and to its owner, Varga Holdings Ltd., which was registered in the United Kingdom. The 2002 Mr. Bean cartoon series reached nearly four million views at its premiere in the UK. The production cost was more than six million dollars.Varga Studios Budapest worked on the pilot of the Animated Credits, (1999) and Varga Holdings later in 2002-2004.

Margaret Island (Hungarian: Margitsziget [ˈmɒrɡit.siɡɛt]; German: Margareteninsel; Turkish: Kızadası) is a 2.5 km (1.6 mi) long island, 500 m (550 yd) wide, (0.965 km2 (238 acres) in area) in the middle of the Danube in central Budapest, Hungary. The island is mostly covered by landscape parks, and is a popular recreational area. Its medieval ruins are reminders of its importance in the Middle Ages as a religious centre. The island spans the area between the Margaret Bridge (south) and the Árpád Bridge (north). Before the 14th century the island was called Insula leporum (Island of Rabbits). Administratively Margaret Island used to belong to the 13th district, but now is directly under the control of the city. Its appearance today was developed through the connection of three separate islands, the Festő (Painter), the Fürdő (Bath) and the Nyulak (Rabbits), during the end of the 19th century, to control the flow of the Danube. Originally, the island was 102.5 metres above sea level, but now has been built up to 104.85 metres above sea level to control flooding.

Alternatív Közgazdasági Gimnázium ("Alternative Secondary School of Economics"), known as AKG by its students, is a six-year high school in Budapest, Hungary. The basic educational principle of the school is that a child is not preparing for life but is living it. The school has given up the traditional instruments of institutional regulation, including house rules, systems of punishment and reward. These have been replaced with the free flow of information and the freedom of choice, emphasising the individual personalities of students, and taking into account their personal needs and concerns. The nature of this freedom changes along with the different stages of the students' life in the school.

13th District (Hungarian: XIII. kerület) is the 13th district of Budapest, Hungary. The main parts are Angyalföld, Népsziget, Újlipótváros and Vizafogó (and until 2013 Margaret Island).

Angyalföld (German: Engelsfeld; literally: "Angel's Field or Angel Land") is a neighbourhood in Budapest, Hungary. Administratively it belongs to the 13th district. The traditionally working-class neighbourhood went through a process of gentrification due to the office-building boom of the 1990s.

Göncz Árpád városközpont (Árpád Göncz City Centre) is a station on the Budapest Metro Line 3 (North-South). It was the temporary terminus of Line 3 between 1984 and 1990.The station was opened on 7 November 1984 as part of the extension from Lehel tér. On 14 December 1990 the line was extended further north to Újpest-központ.The station is located beneath the intersection of Váci Avenue and Róbert Károly Boulevard, near Árpád bridge. It is also a major public transport hub.The area has several high-rise offices and governmental buildings, including the headquarters of the Hungarian Police, the National Health Insurance Fund (Országos Egészségbiztosítási Pénztár), Hungarian State Treasury (Magyar Államkincstár) and the National Pension Insurance Directorate (Országos Nyugdíjbiztosítási Főigazgatóság).From its inauguration until 31 January 2020, the station was called Árpád híd (Árpád Bridge). It then was renamed in honour of the former president of Hungary.

The Aquincum Military Amphitheatre is the greater of two amphitheatres in Budapest, Hungary, the other being the Aquincum Civil Amphitheatre. It is located in the Obuda district, just north near the Danube river. It was built around 145, during the reign of emperor Antoninus Pius.

The Sziget Festival (Hungarian: Sziget Fesztivál, pronounced [ˈsiɡɛt ˈfɛstivaːl]; "Sziget" for "Island") is one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe. It is held every August in northern Budapest, Hungary, on Óbudai-sziget ("Old Buda Island"), a leafy 108-hectare (266-acre) island on the Danube. More than 1,000 performances take place each year. The week-long festival has grown from a relatively low-profile student event in 1993 to become one of the prominent European rock festivals, with about half of all visitors coming from outside Hungary, especially from Western Europe. It also has a dedicated "party train" service (with resident DJs) that transports festival-goers from all over Europe. The second event (1994), labelled Eurowoodstock, was headlined by performers from the original Woodstock festival. By 1997, total attendance surpassed the 250,000 mark, and by 2016 reached the 440,000 mark. In 2018 that record was broken when 565,000 visitors attended the festival. Since the mid-2000s, Sziget Festival has been increasingly labelled as a European alternative to the Burning Man festival due to its unique features ("an electronically amplified, warped amusement park that has nothing to do with reality").In 2011, Sziget was ranked one of the 5 best festivals in Europe by The Independent. The festival is a two-time winner at the European Festivals Awards in the category Best Major European Festival, in 2011 and 2014.In 2002, Sziget branched out to Transylvania when its organisers co-created a new annual festival there titled Félsziget Fesztivál (Romanian: Festivalul Peninsula) that soon became the largest of its kind in Romania. In 2007, the organisers co-created Balaton Sound, an electronic music festival held on the southern bank of Lake Balaton that quickly gained popularity.

Forgách utca (Forgách Street) is a station on the Budapest Metro Line 3 (North-South). It is located in Angyalföld district, beneath Váci út between its intersections with streets Fáy utca and Forgách utca. The station was opened on 14 December 1990 as part of the extension from Árpád híd.

Dózsa György út is a station on the Budapest Metro Line 3 (North-South). It is located beneath Váci Avenue at its intersection with the eponymous street Dózsa György út. The station was opened on 7 November 1984 as part of the extension from Lehel tér to Árpád híd.
