Petőfi Bridge

A38 is an entertainment and cultural venue on the Danube river in Budapest, Hungary, opened on 30 April 2003. Its structure repurposes a decommissioned stone-carrier ship that operated in Ukraine and is now anchored permanently to the bottom of Petőfi Bridge. The venue variously encompasses a ruin bar, restaurant, exhibition hall, dancefloor, and concert hall. The A38 is a member of the Trans Europe Halles organization.

The College for Advanced Studies in Social Theory (Hungarian: Társadalomelméleti Kollégium, TEK) is the oldest independent college of leftist-intellectual orientation at Corvinus University of Budapest as well as in Hungary.

The city of Budapest was officially created on 17 November 1873 from a merger of the three neighboring cities of Pest, Buda and Óbuda. Smaller towns on the outskirts of the original city were amalgamated into Greater Budapest in 1950. The origins of Budapest can be traced to Celts who occupied the plains of Hungary in the 4th century BC. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungarian: Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem or in short Műegyetem), official abbreviation BME, is the most significant university of technology in Hungary and is considered the world's oldest institute of technology which has university rank and structure. It was the first institute in Europe to train engineers at university level. It was founded in 1782. More than 110 departments and institutes operate within the structure of eight faculties. About 1100 lecturers, 400 researchers and other degree holders and numerous invited lecturers and practising expert specialists participate in education and research at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Approximately 1381 of the university's 21,171 students are foreigners, coming from 50 countries. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics issues about 70% of Hungary's engineering degrees. 34 professors/researchers of the university are members of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Training courses are provided in five languages: Hungarian, English, German, French and Russian. The ECTS credit system was introduced in 1995. This helps students to enroll in the student exchange program of the European Union, the Socrates (also known as Erasmus), and earn a double degree through the Top Industrial Managers for Europe network.

The Museum of Applied Arts (Hungarian: Iparművészeti Múzeum) is a museum in Budapest, Hungary. It is the third-oldest applied arts museum in the world.

Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungarian: Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem) is a private university in Budapest, Hungary. The university currently has an enrolment of approximately 9,600 students, with a primary focus on business administration, economics, and social sciences, operating in Budapest and Székesfehérvár since 1948. Corvinus University accepts students at six faculties and offer courses leading to degrees at the bachelor, master and doctoral level in specialisations taught in Hungarian, English, French or German. The Great Market Hall or Central Market Hall, Market Hall I (Hungarian "Nagyvásárcsarnok") is the largest and oldest indoor market in Budapest, Hungary. The idea of building such a large market hall arose from the first mayor of Budapest, Károly Kamermayer, and it was his largest investment. He retired in 1896 and participated in the opening ceremony on February 15, 1897. It is located at the end of the famous pedestrian shopping street Váci utca and on the Pest side of the Liberty bridge at Fővám square.

Tüskecsarnok is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Budapest, Hungary. It is primarily used for ice sports and is the home arena of Hungarian top division ice hockey club MAC Budapest. It was opened in 2014.

Semmelweis University (Hungarian: Semmelweis Egyetem) is a research-led medical school in Budapest, Hungary, founded in 1769. With six faculties and a doctoral school it covers all aspects of medical and health sciences. The university is also the largest provider of health care services in Hungary. Most of the departments cater for the most serious cases and patients requiring complex treatment.As the highest listed institution in Hungary in the 2023 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Semmelweis University is among the top 250 universities in the world.

Corvin-negyed is a station on the M3 line of the Budapest Metro. The station opened on 31 December 1976 as one of six stations in the initial phase of construction, between Deák Ferenc tér and Nagyvárad tér. From its opening until 2011, the station was named Ferenc körút after its section of the Grand Boulevard. In 2011, the Corvinus Quarter (Corvin-negyed) was established as a residential and commercial redevelopment area. The city renamed the station after the new district as part of several name changes to metro stations that year.

Fővám tér is a station of Line 4 of the Budapest Metro, located beneath the eponymous square. The tunnels, on the other side of Szabadság Bridge, go under the Danube and continue in Pest under Corvinus University. The station was opened on 28 March 2014 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Keleti pályaudvar to Kelenföld vasútállomás.
