New Jersey Meadowlands, also known as the Hackensack Meadowlands after the primary river flowing through it, is a general name for the large ecosystem of wetlands in northeastern New Jersey in the United States, a few miles to the west of New York City. In the 20th century, much of the Meadowlands area was urbanized, and it became known for being the site of large landfills and decades of environmental abuse. A variety of projects are underway to restore and conserve the remaining ecological resources in the Meadowlands.

Mill Creek Marsh is a nature preserve in the New Jersey Meadowlands located in Secaucus at its border with North Bergen, the Cromakill Creek, in Hudson County, New Jersey. It is fed by the Hackensack River, and is a contributing property to the Hackensack RiverWalk. It is contiguous to the west by Mill Creek and the Schmidts Woods and Secaucus High School, to the north by Western Brackish Marsh, to the east by the Eastern Brackish Marsh, and Cromakill Marsh.The Eastern Spur of New Jersey Turnpike runs through the nature area, which is bordered to the south by The Plaza at Harmon Meadow, which includes the Mall at Mill Creek.

Secaucus High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Secaucus, in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Secaucus Board of Education. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 586 students and 58.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.1:1. There were 121 students (20.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 25 (4.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

69th Street is a proposed interchange station in North Bergen in Hudson County, New Jersey. It would serve passengers on two lines under consideration by NJ Transit, the Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project and the Northern Branch Corridor Project, the latter of which is an extension of the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail. The station would located at-grade west the North Bergen Yard and Tonnelle Avenue.

The Vince Lombardi Park & Ride is located on the New Jersey Turnpike in the Meadowlands in Ridgefield, Bergen County, New Jersey. The park and ride and separate service area to south of it are dedicated to and named after Vince Lombardi. Located at the edge of the Little Ferry Yard it has been viewed as a potential rail station location since the 1990s and as of 2021, it is under consideration by NJ Transit as part of the Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project.

Babbitt is a neighborhood in North Bergen Township in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area, located west of Tonnelle Avenue within the New Jersey Meadowlands District, is home to light manufacturing, warehouses, transportation facilities, and part of the wetlands preservation area known as the Eastern Brackish Marsh.

The North Bergen Yard is freight rail yard and intermodal terminal in North Bergen, New Jersey parallel to Tonnelle Avenue between 49th and 69th Streets. Located within the North Jersey Shared Assets Area, the facility is part of CSX Transportation (CSXT) and the origination point of its CSX River Subdivision at the southern end of the Albany Division. On its west side, the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway (NYSW) runs the length of the yard and operates a bulk transloading operation immediately adjacent to it.

The Mall at Mill Creek, formerly known as Mill Creek Mall, is a strip mall located in Secaucus, New Jersey in the New Jersey Meadowlands. It is situated in the Harmon Meadow Plaza complex, approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) from New York City, and is owned by Hartz Mountain Industries. The International Council of Shopping Centers lists the mall as having a Gross leasable area (GLA) of 400,000 sq ft (37,000 m2).

The Plaza at Harmon Meadow is a shopping complex in the Meadowlands of Secaucus, New Jersey, approximately six miles from New York City. It was developed by Hartz Mountain Industries, whose corporate offices are located in the Plaza. The Plaza, which Hartz refers to as a “mixed-use community”, encompasses 175 acres (0.71 km2), and consists of over 3,500,000 square feet (330,000 m2) of hotel, office, retail, and restaurants space. It was purchased by Howard Michaels's Carlton Group in 2015. It was built in 1981.In addition to its offices, The Plaza at Harmon Meadow has a convention center, a 14-screen Kerasotes Theatres complex, the Meadowlands Exposition Center, The Mall at Mill Creek, and its own post office. The International Council of Shopping Centers lists the mall as having a Gross leasable area (GLA) of 400,000 square feet (37,000 m2).The Plaza at Harmon Meadow is bound on the south by Route 3 and Paterson Plank Road. The mall is accessible via the bus lines 78 from Newark, 85 from New Jersey (Jersey City and Union City), and the 190 and 320 interstate bus lines, which travel to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.From June 30 to July 1, 2012, it was host to BronyCon, a fan based convention for the television program My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. In 2015, the Meadowlands Exposition Center, which is located in the Plaza, became the hosting location for the East Coast Comicon, having moved there from Asbury Park.

North Bergen is a township in the northern part of Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 63,361, an increase of 2,588 (+4.3%) from the 2010 census count of 60,773, which in turn reflected an increase of 2,681 (+4.6%) from the 58,092 counted in the 2000 census. The township was incorporated in 1843. It was much diminished in territory by a series of secessions. Situated on the Hudson Palisades, it is one of the hilliest municipalities in the United States. Like neighboring North Hudson communities, North Bergen is among those places in the nation with the highest population density and a majority Hispanic population.

Castle Point Anime Convention (abbreviated as CPAC) is an annual two-day anime convention held during April/May at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The convention was previously organized by the Stevens Institute of Technology's Stevens Anime Club, and was located on campus for several years. Since 2017, the convention is now run by its own company, Anime Critics United, Inc.

Tonnelle Avenue station is a ground-level station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located at 51st Street in North Bergen, New Jersey. The station opened for service on February 25, 2006. Service from the station travels to West Side Avenue in Jersey City at all times. On weekdays, service is also available to Hoboken Terminal. In conjunction with the station, New Jersey Transit operates a 730-space park-and-ride lot on Tonnelle Avenue (U.S. Route 1 & 9), between 49th and 51st Streets. Currently, the station is the northern terminus for the light rail system, with two tracks and an island platform. The proposed Northern Branch Corridor Project would extend the line from Tonnelle Avenue north into Englewood, in eastern Bergen County. Daily and monthly parking is available. Monthly parking passes for the following month are sold on the 19th of each month.
