Vince Lombardi Park & Ride

Bergen Generating Station is a gas-fired power plant owned and operated by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G). It located on the banks of Overpeck Creek near its confluence with the Hackensack River in Ridgefield in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. Within the New Jersey Meadowlands, it is adjacent to the Little Ferry Yard. The plant supplies electricity to New Jersey and, via the Hudson Project, to New York City. The cooling tower make-up water is furnished by BCUA Bergen County Utilities Authority, eliminating the need for utilizing potable water.

Little Ferry Yard is a railyard and intermodal terminal in the Port of New York and New Jersey served by the CSX River Subdivision (CSXT), New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway (NYSW), Norfolk Southern Railway and Conrail Shared Assets Operations (CRCX).Originally developed by NYSW, it was later acquired by CSX. Located in Ridgefield, New Jersey and extending into Ridgefield Park, it takes its name from the ferry that used to travel across the Hackensack at approximately this location—the town on the western side, Little Ferry, was also named for this ferry. The yard's street address is in Babbitt, North Bergen, from where it is accessible by road. It is situated at the confluence of the Hackensack River and Overpeck Creek near the Bergen Generating Station. South of the facility the River Subdivision continues to the North Bergen Yard, where it terminates. Traveling slightly further the NYSW mainline terminates at the Landbridge Terminal at the Jersey City border. The NYSW Undercliff Junction provides access to a spur to the Edgewater Tunnel, occupied by a natural gas pipeline as of 2021. and the electric cable for the Hudson Project. To the north, the lines cross north over Overpeck Creek. CSX has a two-track swing bridge. As of 2015, the NYS&W bridge was slated for replacement. The River Subdvison continues along the original West Shore Railroad alignment through Bergen County and Rockland County, New York reaching the Hudson River after passing through a tunnel at Haverstraw. It continues north to a point near Selkirk Yard where it junctions with the Port Subdivision and Castleton Subdivision. At Bogota the NYSW veers west crossing the Hackensack, and at Paterson, the Passaic River to Sparta, crossing the state line into New York at Warwick.Numerous studies to restore passenger service that would travel through the yard on have been conducted, but not materialized. The Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project proposes a station at the Vince Lombardi Park & Ride of the New Jersey Turnpike which is adjacent to the Edgewater Branch.

New Jersey Meadowlands, also known as the Hackensack Meadowlands after the primary river flowing through it, is a general name for the large ecosystem of wetlands in northeastern New Jersey in the United States, a few miles to the west of New York City. In the 20th century, much of the Meadowlands area was urbanized, and it became known for being the site of large landfills and decades of environmental abuse. A variety of projects are underway to restore and conserve the remaining ecological resources in the Meadowlands.

The borough was named for the area's terrain.

91st Street is a proposed station along the Northern Branch Corridor Project extension of Hudson-Bergen Light Rail in the Babbitt Section of North Bergen, New Jersey.The station site is located along the Northern Branch (CSX) south of the Edgewater Branch (NYSW) at the city line with Fairview west of U.S. Route 1/9 (Tonnelle Avenue). It is designed to have two side platforms and small parking area for 32 vehicles.Erie Railroad's Northern Branch and the New York, Susquehanna, and Western (NYSW) maintained a minor station at Babitt nearby 83rd Street in North Bergen. After diverging the Northern Branch crossed under the West Shore Railroad and proceeded to next station stop at Railroad Avenue in Fairview. The new station at 91st Street is located between the two historical stations. As of 2021 a study for the Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project is reviewing the reintroduction of passenger service on a portion of the NYSW right-of-way in Passaic, Bergen, and Hudson counties. A potential route would use the Edgewater Branch right-of-way to connect to the HBLR just north of the 91st Street station, including a station stop there.

Dutch Reformed Church in the English Neighborhood (English Neighborhood Reformed Church of Ridgefield) is a historic church at 1040 Edgewater Avenue in Ridgefield, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The church was built in 1793 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 18, 1998.

Ridgefield is a proposed station along NJ Transit's (NJT) Northern Branch Corridor Project extension of Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) in Ridgefield, New Jersey.The station site is located along the Northern Branch just west of U.S. Route 1/9 (Broad Avenue) at the overpass of the Hendricks Causeway (County Route S124), southwest of Remson Place. The station is designed to have two side platforms. Parking for 269 vehicles is planned, for which approximately 3 acres will be acquired. As of 2019 NJ Transit bus 127 and 165 stopped in the vicinity of the station on Broad Avenue. . Rail service in Ridgefield began in 1859 by a subsidiary of the Erie Railroad. while the area was still called the English Neighborhood. The Erie Railroad Ridgefield Freight Station (#1911) was located at Edgewater Avenue nearby Dutch Reformed Church in the English Neighborhood. and was demolished to make way for the creation of Remson Place after Hendricks Causeway was built in the 1930s. The railroad also had a station in the borough at MorsemereEarly plans and studies from the 1990s for the HBLR system had originally conceived a terminus in Ridgefield at the Vince Lombardi Park & Ride at the New Jersey Turnpike and still under consideration as part of the Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project.

Babbitt is a neighborhood in North Bergen Township in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The area, located west of Tonnelle Avenue within the New Jersey Meadowlands District, is home to light manufacturing, warehouses, transportation facilities, and part of the wetlands preservation area known as the Eastern Brackish Marsh.

The station is owned by Multicultural Broadcasting and airs Cantonese programming. It is one of two Cantonese radio stations serving the New York metropolitan area, the other is Chung Wah Chinese Broadcasting Company. WZRC's transmitting facility is located in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
