Lake Atalanta

Rogers is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. Located in the Ozarks, it is part of the Northwest Arkansas region, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. Rogers was the location of the first Walmart store, whose corporate headquarters is located in neighboring Bentonville. Daisy Outdoor Products, known for its air rifles, has both its headquarters and its Airgun Museum in Rogers. The city houses a popular shopping center, the Pinnacle Hills Promenade, and a music venue, the Walmart AMP, that has housed performances by big-name artists and local performers alike. As of the 2020 US Census, the city had a population of 69,913. In 2022, the estimated population was 72,999 making it the 6th most populous city in the state. Northwest Arkansas is the 100th biggest metropolitan area by population in the United States, with 576,403 inhabitants as of the 2022 U.S. Census Estimate.

The Bryan House No. 2 is a historic duplex house at 321 East Locust Street in Rogers, Arkansas, United States. It is a single-story double pen frame structure, with a side gable roof. A one-story ell extends to the rear on one side. A porch with turned columns extends the full width of the structure, sheltering the two main entrances. Built c. 1900, this is the best-preserved of a modest number of surviving houses of this type in Rogers, which were once much more numerous.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Applegate Drugstore is a historic commercial building at 116 South First Street in Rogers, Arkansas. It is a two-story masonry building, with brick sidewalls and a limestone facade. Pilasters of alternating rough and smooth stone delineate the first floor elements of the storefront, rising to a freeze and dentillated ogee course between the floors. The second floor has two large bays, each with a pair of sash windows, delineated by Corinthian pilasters. The interior of the store retains original drugstore furnishings, including a pressed tin ceiling, tile floor, walnut shelving, and a polished marble fountain counter. The building was constructed in 1906 to house the drugstore of J.E. Applegate, and has housed similar retail operations since then. The building has one of Rogers' best-preserved early-20th century commercial interiors.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Bank of Rogers Building is a historic commercial building at 114 South 1st Street in Rogers, Arkansas. It is an elegant two story Renaissance Revival structure with a limestone front. There are essentially two facades, one of which is set back under a large Roman arch, which forms the major element of the outer facade. This arch begins on the first level with square outer pillars and round inner ones, and is flanked on the second level by marble pilasters, which rise to support a projecting entablature and pediment. The inner facade has the main entrance under a segmented arch, with a pair of sash windows under a round arch on the second level.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. At that time it house the Rogers Historical Museum, which has since moved to modern facilities on 2nd Street.

The Rogers Commercial Historic District, known informally as Historic Downtown Rogers, is a historic district in the central business district of Rogers, Arkansas. When it was first listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, it was known as the Walnut Street Historic District; this was changed when the district was enlarged in 1993. The district encompasses a portion of the city's central business district, whose historical significance extends from about 1885 to the end of World War II.The original 1988 boundary of the district included buildings on two blocks of Walnut Street, between Second and Arkansas Streets, and encompasses a cluster of predominantly commercial buildings built between 1885 and 1912. These buildings were predominantly Italianate commercial masonry buildings. In 1993 the district was enlarged to include two blocks of First and Second Streets, between Walnut and Poplar Streets, which also included historically significant commercial buildings constructed up to 1943. This enlargement included the previously-listed Old Post Office, Lane Hotel, Applegate Drugstore, and Bank of Rogers Building. This enlargement included a wider variety of architectural styles, notably the Colonial Revival architecture of the old post office, and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture of the Lane Hotel. The district was further enlarged in 1998 to include 120 South Second Street, and in 2002 to include the Victory Theater. In 2012 it was enlarged yet again, adding the 200 block of West Elm Street.

The Myler House is a historic house at 315 North Third Street in Rogers, Arkansas, USA. It is a single story L-shaped structure, built of brick with limestone trim. Prominent trim elements include corner quoining, stone segmental arches above the windows, and a stone beltcourse that coincides with the window sills. The house was built c. 1895 by C. R. Crowe, a prominent local stonemason, for his family. Crowe and his son-in-law, John Myler, are believed to be responsible for much the stone trim work of buildings erected in the area in the early 20th century, and this house is likely attributable to Crowe.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Lane Hotel is a historic former hotel building in Rogers, Arkansas, United States. It is a five-story yellow brick Spanish Revival building, designed by architect John Parks Almand and completed in 1929. It is the largest Spanish Revival building in Arkansas, with a prominent colonnade of arches at the second level, above a first floor series of commercial storefronts, and a central tower. The hotel was not successful, having been completed just at the outset of the Great Depression, and went through a succession of owners before closing in 1965. Beginning in 1999 it was a retirement community known as Peachtree on the Lane It was refurbished in 2017 and now houses Haas Hall Academy Rogers campus. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Old Post Office is a historic former post office building at 120 West Poplar Street in Rogers, Arkansas. It is a Georgian Revival single-story brick building, built in 1917 to a design by the Office of the Supervising Architect. The building served as the city's main post office until the late 1940s. It was then adapted to house the Rogers Public Library, which occupied the premises between 1963 and 1994. An example of Georgian Revival architecture, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as "Rogers Post Office Building".

The Raney House is a historic house at 1331 Monte Ne Road in Rogers, Arkansas. It is a two-story American Foursquare house, with a hip roof and a wraparound porch. It was built c. 1912 out of rusticated concrete blocks, a building material popular in the area for residential construction in the area between 1910 and 1925. This house is one of the most elaborate built from them in the area, with curved architraves between the porch columns and corners quoined with smooth blocks to highlight their appearance.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Mutual Aid Union Building is a historic commercial building at 2nd and Poplar Streets in Rogers, Arkansas. Designed by local architects William E. Matthews and A. O. Clarke and built in 1914, it is one of the region's finest Classical Revival buildings. It is a two-story stone and brick building, with a prominent two-story portico supported by four large Roman columns. The Mutual Aid Union, founded in 1907, was a mutual insurance company which sold policies organized into "circles" of 1,000, with dues-paying members making contributions based on their age.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Former City Hall of Rogers, Arkansas is located at 202 West Elm Street. It is a three-story brick Colonial Revival building, designed by architect A. O. Clark and built in 1929. The building was used by the city for municipal offices and as a fire station until the 1990s. It is now being converted to residential use. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 (as "Rogers City Hall").

The Charles Juhre House is a historic house at 406 North 4th Street in Rogers, Arkansas. It is a brick American Foursquare house, two stories in height, with a front porch extending across the full width of the building. A polygonal window projection occupies the center bay on the second floor, and there is a large gable dormer with a Palladian window projecting above it from the hip roof. The house was designed by local architect A. O. Clark, and is a fine local example of transitional Colonial and Classical Revival style.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
