Allendale Square

6RPH Vision Australia Radio broadcasts on 990 kHz AM and was previously owned and operated by the Foundation for Information Radio of Western Australia Inc. It now broadcasts Vision Australia Radio and aims to provide access to printed information for Western Australians with a print disability. Vision Australia Radio is a member of RPH Australia.Its radio reading service is available on 990 AM throughout the wider Perth metropolitan area. However, in the early part of 2015 the station started to play a recorded music loop, together with a repeated announcement that its service had been suspended due to "technical issues". In March/early April 2015, 6RPH ceased broadcasting, but has since recommenced transmission with the Vision Australia Radio service on 990AM and on IRIS digital.Radio 6PM occupied the 990 kHz frequency until the late 1980s.

Sherwood Court is a short sloping road between St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia and The Esplanade with Allendale Square on the upper corner, and Lawson Apartments on the lower. It sits across from London Court and allows pedestrian access between the central business district and The Esplanade and Perth foreshore. Its context has been taken into consideration in planning of the Perth foreshore development in that it is claimed that planned structures on The Esplanade will not block the view to Perth Water.The images of former buildings on the St Georges Terrace corner provide context to the early architecture now lost.The Cecil Building at number 6 was frequently photographed, as was Sherwood House.During the second world war, various offices of services relating to the war effort were housed in Sherwood Court and before offices were made elsewhere, sections of the Perth Road Board were located there as well. The Atlas Building, although facing the Esplanade, takes up the south western side of the street across from the Lawson Apartments. The Allendale Square and Exchange Plaza buildings now take up considerable space of former structures in the street.

96FM (call sign: 6NOW) is a commercial FM radio station broadcasting in Perth, Western Australia owned by ARN since January 2015. It was formerly part of the Fairfax Media and Village Roadshow networks.

The Stock Exchange of Perth or Perth Stock Exchange was a securities exchange in Perth, Western Australia, operating from its establishment in July 1889 until it merged with other five Australian securities exchanges into the Australian Securities Exchange on 1 April 1987. An initial meeting of people interested in forming a stock exchange in Perth was held in August 1888, and the inaugural meeting of the Perth Stock Exchange was held on 1 October 1888, with Alexander Forrest as its president. High entrance fees were stated as the reason why a second stock exchange in Perth was formed the following year, in July 1889, the Stock Exchange of Perth, with Hector Rason as its president. At the exchange's first annual meeting, on 7 July 1890, Henry Saunders was elected as its president. The Premier of Western Australia, John Forrest, laid the foundation stone for the new building for the Stock Exchange of Perth on 22 October 1896, located at 49 St Georges Terrace, Perth. In 1937, the Australian Associated Stock Exchanges was established. It originally consisted of the stock exchanges in Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart and Sydney, with the Melbourne and Perth ones joining later. In 1972, the Australian exchanges adopted a uniform listing standard. In 1977, the Stock Exchange of Perth, in cooperation with the Education Department of Western Australia, introduced the share market game into schools, known as Capitaliser. Official records of the Stock Exchange of Perth are held by the J S Battye Library in Perth and the Noel Butlin Archives Centre at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Trinity Church is one of the oldest church buildings in the City of Perth, and one of the few remaining 19th-century colonial buildings in the city. It is located at 72 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia.

Exchange Plaza is a 40-storey skyscraper in Perth, Western Australia. Completed in 1991, the 146-metre (479 ft) building is the state headquarters of the Australian Securities Exchange. Currently it is the sixth tallest skyscraper in Perth after QV.1, the BankWest Tower, City Square and Central Park.

The Atlas Building is a heritage-listed building in Perth, Western Australia. It is located in the Perth central business district at 8–10 The Esplanade, and sits along the south-western side of Sherwood Court. The construction of the building in the 1930s was well documented.The building was constructed for the Atlas Assurance Company, in an Inter-War Free Classical style, with an art-deco entrance and elevator. It has historical significance both architecturally and as one of few commercial developments in Perth constructed during the depression years. In addition to Atlas, occupants of the building have included: A. B. The Museum of Perth is a private, non-profit museum located in the Atlas Building, 8-10 The Esplanade (opposite Elizabeth Quay), in Perth, Western Australia. It aims to chronicle the social, cultural, political and architectural history of Perth.

London Court is a three and four-level open-roofed shopping arcade located in the central business district in Perth, Western Australia. It was built in 1937 by wealthy gold financier and businessman Claude de Bernales for residential and commercial purposes. The arcade runs between the Hay Street Mall and St Georges Terrace and is considered an important tourist attraction in the City of Perth. It received a National Trust of Australia classification in 1978 and was recorded in the Register of the National Estate in 1982. The Heritage Council of Western Australia included it in the State Heritage Register in 1996.

Greenhouse was a bar/restaurant at 100 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia. Designed by Dutch-born florist, artist, builder and environmentalist Joost Bakker, and opened in 2009, it is a "quirky, eco-friendly restaurant" concept, which has been described as "... a breath of fresh air and a brilliant example of innovation in the restaurant sector." The head chef at Greenhouse was Matt Stone.As a concept, Greenhouse had a mission to improve vastly on the ways restaurants are created, to have better design, better operation, and to be "completely waste free from the ground up". Amongst other things, Greenhouse "... has its vegetable garden on the roof, grinds its own organic flour, has walls made of hay bales and boasts a zero-carbon footprint."Both Stone and the restaurant have won a number of awards. In 2010, Stone was named Best New Talent at the national Gourmet Traveller Awards; then was awarded Young Chef of the Year by The West Australian Good Food Guide in 2011 and 2012. The restaurant was given a one star rating, and the award for Best New Restaurant of the Year, by The West Australian Good Food Guide 2011, and retained its one star rating for 2012 and 2013, but lost that rating for 2014.The Greenhouse concept has also appeared, in temporary, "pop-up" restaurant form, at Federation Square in Melbourne in 2008–09, at Sydney Harbour in 2011, and at the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in 2012. Greenhouse also featured in an episode of MasterChef Australia series 5 in 2013.The restaurant was sold to Red Rock Leisure in partnership with chef Chris Taylor around 2012.The restaurant closed in May 2017. Managing partners of the venue claimed decreased revenue and high operation costs as contributing factors.

Lawson Apartments are located at 2–4 Sherwood Court near the corner with The Esplanade, in Perth, Western Australia. They are situated across the road from the Esplanade Reserve and adjacent to the Weld Club.

100 St Georges Terrace is a 24-storey skyscraper located at 100 St Georges Terrace in Perth, Western Australia. It is a mixed retail and commercial property. The retail component, named enex perth (formerly enex100), is made up of three floors of shops and food outlets between St Georges Terrace and the Hay Street Mall. The office tower is 103 metres (338 ft) high and the project was the first office building constructed in Perth to a 4.5-star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating.
