Watthana or Vadhana (Thai: วัฒนา, pronounced [wát.tʰā.nāː]) is one of the 50 districts (khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. Neighbouring districts are (from the north clockwise): Ratchathewi, Huai Khwang, Suan Luang, Phra Khanong, Khlong Toei, and Pathum Wan.

Khlong Tan Nuea (Thai: คลองตันเหนือ, pronounced [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ tān nɯ̌a̯]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Watthana District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 49,971 people.

Bang Kapi (Thai: บางกะปิ, pronounced [bāːŋ kāpìʔ]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Huai Khwang District, Bangkok.

Khlong Tan railway station (Thai: สถานีรถไฟคลองตัน) is a railway station in Bang Kapi Subdistrict, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. The station is a part of eastern railway line and is a class 2 railway station located 9.85 km (6.1 mi) from Hua Lamphong (Bangkok railway station). Khlong Tan railway station is tucked away in a lane on the side of outbound Phetchaburi Road (portion New Phetchaburi) opposite Ekkamai Nuea Junction, where Ekkamai combines Phetchaburi Roads. In the 1970s, the environment around the station retained a rural atmosphere. When passengers get off the train and walk out onto the main road, they must cross a wooden bridge across the ditch first. The Airport Rail Link passes through this station on its own elevated viaduct, but does not stop at this station. Instead, the closest stations to the Airport Rail Link are at Asok Halt and Ramkaehang (Sukhumvit 71) stations.

Camillian Hospital (called also "San Camillo Hospital") - small private hospital in Bangkok (Thailand), founded by catholic missionaries - camillians in 1956 (earlier in 1952 camillians established another "San Camillo Hospital" in Ratchaburi Province). The hospital is located in Watthana district and has general practice and special care facilities. The hospital is operated by Saint Camillus Foundation of Thailand and has charity programs to treat poor and low income patients. Camillian hospital employees took active part in overcoming of the 2004 tsunami damage in Thailand setting up mobile clinics for the disaster survivors.

Royal City Avenue or RCA is one of Bangkok's largest entertainment and clubbing areas. Located on in Huai Khwang district, RCA is a long street located between Rama IX Road and Phetchaburi Road. It contains a multitude of bars, nightclubs and live music venues. RCA, a government designated Entertainment Zone, is frequently visited by young people.

The Santika Club fire was a fireworks accident and nightclub fire that occurred on Thursday 1 January 2009, in the Santika Club in Ekkamai, Watthana, Bangkok, where celebrations of Thai New Year were taking place. 67 people were killed and another 222 injured when fire swept through the club during the New Year's celebration as the band "Burn" was playing.The fire broke out at 00:35. and citizens of thirteen countries were among the injured.

Thong Lo (Thai: ทองหล่อ, RTGS: Thong Lo, pronounced [tʰɔ̄ːŋ lɔ̀ː]; also spelled Thong Lor), officially named Soi Sukhumvit 55, is a road and neighbourhood in Watthana District, Bangkok, Thailand. Thong Lo literally translates as 'molten gold'. Its name comes from that of a naval officer, Thonglo Khamhiran, a member of the Khana Ratsadon (People's Party), a 1932 revolutionary group. He owned land and houses in the area. In pre-World War II Thailand, the area along Sukhumvit Road to the Bang Na District was suburban Bangkok and quasi-rural. Much of the area was occupied by the navy.Thong Lo runs from the Thong Lo BTS Station on Sukhumvit Road north to Phetchaburi Road. Originally housing car dealerships and dowdy shops, during the early-2000s it became increasingly trendy. New boutiques, restaurants, and cocktail bars sprang up, creating a demand for new condominiums in the area, partially driven by a significant Japanese expat community. In 2017, to the dismay of many, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) cracked down on the neighbourhood's street food vendors.

Ramkhamhaeng Station (Thai: สถานีรามคำแหง) is an Airport Rail Link (Bangkok) station on Ramkhamhaeng Road (Sukhumvit 71) in Suan Luang District, Bangkok. An infill station was planned between Makkasan and Ramkhamhaeng named Sun Wichai, but it was never built.

Ekamai International School (EIS) (Thai: โรงเรียนนานาชาติเอกมัย, RTGS: Rong Rian Nana Chat Aekkamai) is a private, non-profit, co-educational, international school founded by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is located in Watthana District, Bangkok, Thailand and educates students from pre-kindergarten to the twelfth grade. In 1993, the school acquired an international school license. The school is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist education system.

Khlong Tan (Thai: คลองตัน, pronounced [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ tān]) is an intersection and its surrounding neighbourhood in Bangkok's Suan Luang sub-district, Suan Luang district.
