Cockayne Hatley is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley, in the Central Bedfordshire district of the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire, England, 13 miles (21 km) east of the county town of Bedford. The population in 2007 was approximately 75 with 33 houses.

Gamlingay railway station was a railway station on the Varsity Line which served the small village of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire, England. The station opened in 1862 and was located in a rural area that saw little passenger traffic; it closed together with the line in 1968.

Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley is a civil parish in Bedfordshire, England. It was formed when the ancient parishes of Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley were amalgamated in 1985.

Gamlingay Village College was a middle school with academy status located in Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire, England. It was the only middle school in Cambridgeshire. From 2012 to 2017 the school formed part of Stratton Education Trust which also includes Stratton Upper School in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. On 1 September 2017 the school was transferred to The Cam Academy Trust who also run Gamlingay First School, the only other school in Gamlingay. Lionel Fanthorpe the television presenter, author and lecturer, was based at the college as a Further Education Tutor from 1967 to 1969.

Wrestlingworth is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley, in the Central Bedfordshire district of the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire, England about 13 miles (21 km) east of the county town of Bedford. The 2011 census gives the population of the village proper as 591. The hamlet of Water End is to the south of the village. The population of Wrestlingworth and Cockayne Hatley civil parish in the 2011 census is shown as 744.Amenities in the village include a hairdressers, the offices of a financial advisor, a village hall and a Church of England VC Lower School. Wrestlingworth has a number of listed buildings including the Church of St Peter, and the centre of the village is a Conservation Area. Community groups in the village often meet at the Grade I listed 17th-century public house, The Chequers, and at the Wrestlingworth Memorial Hall. These include the local Women's Institute, the Goodwill Fund, the Walking and Wildlife Group, the History Society and the Badminton Club.

The Church of St Mary the Virgin is the parish church for the village of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire and is dedicated to St Mary the Virgin. Gamlingay is part of the ecclesiastical parish of Gamlingay with Hatley St George and East Hatley. The church is mainly 13th-century with extensive rebuilding in the 14th and 15th centuries. It has been a Grade I listed building since 1967 and comes under the St Neots Deanery in the Diocese of Ely. Nikolaus Pevsner in 1954 described the church as "... the most impressive church in this part of the county."

Church of St Peter is a Grade I listed church in Wrestlingworth, Bedfordshire, England. It became a listed building on 31 October 1966.

Gamlingay is a village and civil parish in the South Cambridgeshire district of Cambridgeshire, England about 14 miles (23 km) west southwest of the county town of Cambridge. The 2011 census gives the village's population as 3,247 and the civil parish's as 3,568.In addition to Gamlingay village, the parish includes the outlying areas of Gamlingay Cinques, Gamlingay Great Heath and Little Heath.

Gamlingay Wood is a 48.4-hectare (120-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) north of Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This is ancient ash/maple woodland on sandy loam soil, an unusual habitat in lowland England. Ground flora include dog's mercury, yellow archangel, wood anemone and the nationally restricted oxlip. The flora is diverse due to the varied soils, and there are hundreds of species of mushrooms and toadstools. Birds include barn owls, garden warblers and blue tits. The 70-hectare (170-acre) Wildlife Trust site includes Sugley Wood, which is not part of the SSSI.There is access from Gamlingay Road and by a footpath from Gamlingay village.

The Parish Church of St Mary is the Anglican parish church for Potton in Bedfordshire. It has been a Grade I listed building since 1966 and comes under the Diocese of St Albans.

Little Gransden Airfield (ICAO: EGMJ) is an unlicensed airfield located near the village of Little Gransden, 5 NM (9.3 km; 5.8 mi) southeast of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, England. Little Gransden Airfield is located in the grounds of Fuller's Hill Farm. It is also the home of Yak UK Ltd., who import, service and sell the Yakovlev range of piston engined aerobatic aircraft.

Waresley is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Waresley-cum-Tetworth, in Cambridgeshire, England. Waresley lies approximately 11 miles (18 km) south of Huntingdon and 5 miles (8 km) south-east of the town of St Neots. Waresley is situated within Huntingdonshire which is a non-metropolitan district of Cambridgeshire as well as being a historic county of England. At the time of the 2001 census, the population of Waresley parish was 293. At the time of the 2011 Census the population was included in the Civil Parish of Little Gransden.
