Museum de Fundatie (Dutch pronunciation: [myˌzeːjʏm də fʏnˈdaː(t)si]) is a museum for the visual arts in Zwolle, Netherlands. Museum de Fundatie forms part of the Hannema-de Stuers Foundation, to which Kasteel het Nijenhuis in Heino also belongs. Museum de Fundatie possesses a collection of visual arts, with works ranging from the end of the Middle Ages until the present day, collected by Dirk Hannema, former director of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. As well as the permanent collection, Museum de Fundatie organises new, wide-ranging exhibitions every three months. Museum de Fundatie recorded a record number of 310,000 visitors in 2015.

The Sassenpoort (English: Saxon Gate) is a gatehouse in the city wall of Zwolle, the Netherlands. It was built in 1409 out of dimension stone, mostly trachyte and tuff, and restoration work was done in 1893-1898. The gatehouse is a rijksmonument and is part of the Top 100 Dutch heritage sites.

The institute also operates the Windesheim Honours College. It offers a four-year bachelor's degree program in Global Project and Change Management.Windesheim has over 50 bachelor programs in the following fields of expertise: Business, Media and Law; Education; Engineering and ICT; Health and Social Work; Journalism and Communication; and Sport and Therapy. IJsselhallen is a convention center located in Zwolle, Netherlands, which has hosted many concerts. It hosted Legoland 2010. IJsselhallen has a floor space of 20,000 m2 and was built in 1972. The IJsselhallen proposed to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 but pulled out because it is too small, the roof is too low and the capacity would not reach the EBU’s requirement.

Windesheim Honours College (Zwolle, Netherlands) is an initiative of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and VU University Amsterdam. The college offers an international and English-language Bachelor's degree programme, for students who aspire a future career as international project managers or consultants. Global Project and Change Management (GPCM) is a four-year English-taught Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme offered by Windesheim Honours College in Zwolle, the Netherlands. This honours programme is designed to prepare students for roles as resilient international project managers and leaders in change. Students learn through the context of professional projects with real clients, as well as via internships, industrial visits, guest lectures from alumni, and interaction with a network of industry experts. The United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) form an integral part of the programme; students work with these goals to develop academic, personal and professional expertise intended to fortify them as they meet a range of pressing global sustainability challenges, including climate change, resource depletion, human rights violations, health disparities, gender inequality, migration, poverty reduction, and ocean pollution.

Librije's Zusje (English:Librijes little sister) was a restaurant in Zwolle, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2009 and retained that rating until 2011. In the period 2012-2014 the restaurant was awarded two stars.The restaurant was owned by Jonnie and Thérèse Boer and was part of the culinary group around De Librije. It was located in a former women prison, which they share with Librije's Hotel and Librije's Atelier (cook- and wine school).Head chef was originally Sidney Schutte. After the departure of Schutte in 2009, Alwin Leemhuis took over. Leemhuis left in 2012 and was succeeded by Maik KuijpersOn 1 May 2014 the second sister of De Librije opened in Amsterdam. This restaurant, also named Librije's Zusje is located in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. On 14 September 2014 it was announced that Librije's Zusje (Zwolle) would close on 31 December 2014 and that De Librije would take over the location.

De Librije (Dutch pronunciation: [də lɪˈbrɛi̯ə]) is a restaurant in Zwolle, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that has been awarded one or more Michelin stars since 1993. It carried one star in the period 1993–1998, two stars in the period 1999-2003 and three stars since 2004. In 2007 and 2008, the restaurant received a score of 19.5 and became Restaurant of the Year in the Dutch edition of Gault Millau.The restaurant was formerly located in the old library of a 15th-century Dominican abbey, hence the name "De Librije". In 2015, the establishment moved to replace its secondary location on the other side of the Thorbeckegracht which housed the "Librije's Zusje" (Librijes little sister) as part of the "Librije's Hotel". The chef de cuisine is Jonnie Boer and his wife Thérèse Boer-Tausch is maître and sommelier. The couple, who both already worked in the restaurant, bought the establishment in 1992.

Zwolle (Dutch: [ˈzʋɔlə] ) is a city and municipality in the Northeastern Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of Overijssel and the province's second-largest municipality, after Enschede, and has a population of 130,592 as of 1 December 2021. Zwolle borders the province of Gelderland and is east of the River IJssel.

The Landstede Sportcentrum is an indoor sports complex located in Zwolle, Netherlands, which is used as a sports arena and was opened in 2010. It is the home of basketball team Landstede Hammers. The "centre court", which is used by both the club has a capacity of 1,200 people. The complex is owned by ROC Landstede, a company that is also main sponsor of the basketball and volleyball clubs. The Sportcentrum is also used for many other sports, like artistic gymnastics and table tennis. In 2011 and 2012, the international basketball tournament Basketball Days was held in the Sportcentrum. It is nicknamed the Theater van de Sport (Theatre of Sport).

Zwollerkerspel (Low Saxon: Zwollerkärspel) is a former municipality in the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. It covered the countryside around the city of Zwolle. Zwollerkerspel was a separate municipality from 1802 until August 1, 1967, when it became a part of Zwolle, Hasselt, Heino, IJsselmuiden and Genemuiden.
