Live! Casino & Hotel, formerly Maryland Live! Casino, is a casino hotel in Hanover, Maryland, adjacent to Arundel Mills Mall. It is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by The Cordish Companies. It opened in 2012. The casino has over 3,900 slot machines and electronic table games, 189 live table games, and 52 poker tables. There is parking for 5,000 vehicles in a six-story parking garage. At 17 stories, the hotel is the tallest building in Anne Arundel County.

Joe Cannon Stadium is a baseball stadium in Hanover, Maryland. It is the home field of the Coppin State Eagles baseball team of the Division I Northeast Conference. It was also formerly the home field of the Baltimore Dodgers of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, a collegiate summer baseball league. Joe Cannon Stadium also plays host to many high school and amateur league games. The stadium holds 1,500 spectators. It is named after former Laurel, Maryland resident M. Joseph Cannon, who had served as the first president of the Maryland City Little League, coordinated countless baseball tournaments, and was instrumental in unifying the Anne Arundel County youth football leagues.

The Dorsey Road Warehouse is a U.S. National Security Agency warehouse located at 1472 Dorsey Road in Hanover, Maryland. Built between 1995 and 1996 at a cost of $10 million, the warehouse is a storage facility for sophisticated signals intelligence and communications security equipment, including spy satellites, as well as office equipment and supplies. The warehouse covers 281,000 square feet (26,100 m2) and is 30 feet (9.1 m) tall.

Dorsey, Maryland, is an unincorporated community along the border of eastern Howard County and northwestern Anne Arundel County in Maryland, United States. It is located south of Elkridge, north of Savage, and close to Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). It is in the southern part of the Baltimore metropolitan area. Dorsey is perhaps listed as a former postal stop that operated from December 1881 on the B&O railroad and is now a MARC commuter rail system stop, which carries commuters into downtown Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Dorsey is a stop on MARC's Camden line and contains a large parking lot off Maryland State Highway 100. Dorsey station mainly serves commuters from Elkridge and Ellicott City, as well as the northern parts of Columbia. Howard Transit buses connect Dorsey station with various locations around Howard County as well as with the nearby Arundel Mills mall. Businesses in the area include hotels, warehouses, and satellite campuses for both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland University College (both of which are located within the Dorsey Business Center). The Dorsey Business Center is a 50-acre (200,000 m2) business park developed between 1984 and 1989 by Douglas Legum Development Inc. It was the first large-scale development project in this part of the Baltimore region. The Dorsey Business Center sits on the site of the former Dorsey Speedway, a stock car track, and now contains over two million square feet of office and retail space. Howard Transit buses connect the business park to the Dorsey MARC station.

Harmans is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. Amtrak's Northeast Corridor high-speed rail line runs through the community; however, Amtrak and MARC trains do not stop as there is no station.

Dorsey station is a passenger rail station on the MARC Camden Line between Washington, DC and Baltimore's Camden Station in Dorsey, Maryland. The station is located at Exit 7 on Maryland Route 100, a.k.a.; the Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway. It was built by MARC in 1996 as a replacement for a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad station located on Route 103 east of Station House Drive. The former B&O station site is now a condominium development.

BWI Rail Station (signed as BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport) is an intermodal passenger station in Linthicum, Maryland near Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). It is served by Amtrak Northeast Corridor intercity trains, MARC Penn Line regional rail trains, and several local bus lines. The station is located just over a mile from the airport's terminal. It was the first intercity rail station in the United States built to service an airport. A free shuttle bus runs between the station and the airport terminal at all hours.Although Penn Station is the Baltimore area's main intercity station, BWI Airport is a major station in its own right. It is Amtrak's sixth-busiest station in the Mid-Atlantic region (behind New York Penn, Washington, Philadelphia, Baltimore Penn, and Albany-Rensselaer), the third-busiest in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, and the 12th busiest nationwide.

Troy Park is a regional park comprising 101 acres in Elkridge, Maryland. The park is located at 6500 Mansion Lane off Washington Boulevard, near the intersection of Maryland Route 100 and I-95.Troy Park currently features several athletic fields, a playground, and trails. Once completed, the park will include pathways, comfort stations, an indoor sports complex, a community center, and a newly renovated Troy Mansion. All phases of the park's construction are expected to be finished by 2018.
