Meade Senior High School

Fort George G. Meade is a United States Army installation located in Maryland, that includes the Defense Information School, the Defense Media Activity, the United States Army Field Band, and the headquarters of United States Cyber Command, the National Security Agency, the Defense Courier Service, Defense Information Systems Agency headquarters, and the U.S. Navy's Cryptologic Warfare Group Six. It is named for George G. Meade, a Union general from the U.S. Civil War, who served as commander of the Army of the Potomac. The fort's smaller census-designated place includes support facilities such as schools, housing, and the offices of the Military Intelligence Civilian Excepted Career Program (MICECP).

Fort Meade is a census-designated place (CDP) in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 9,327 at the 2010 census. It is the home to the National Security Agency, Central Security Service, United States Cyber Command and the Defense Information Systems Agency, which are located on the U.S. Army post Fort George G. Blob's Park was a German-style beer hall that opened in 1933 in Jessup, Maryland. It was the "Home of America's First Oktoberfest". MD 917, one of the shortest numbered Maryland state routes at less than a mile long, runs from MD 175 to Blobs Park.

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) is a United States Department of Defense (DoD) school located at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. DINFOS fulfills the Department of Defense's need for an internal corps of professional journalists, broadcasters, and public affairs professionals. Members from all branches of the U.S. military, DoD civilians and international military personnel attend DINFOS for training in public affairs, print journalism, photojournalism, photography, television and radio broadcasting, lithography, equipment maintenance and various forms of multimedia. The American Council on Education recommends college credit for most DINFOS courses.

Seven Oaks is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. Though it is included in the census-designated place of Odenton, it lies across from Fort Meade and the NSA, and is more a part of those communities. It covers more than 725 acres (2.93 km2) of land, and development began in 1987. The neighborhood includes a nature reserve, elementary school, community center with outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, second smaller pool on the opposite side of the community, daycare center and small shopping center. Seven Oaks has approximately 4,000 residential units and 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m2) of retail, commercial and office space. Seven Oaks has single family homes, town homes, apartments, and duplex homes.The Base Realignment and Closure, 2005 plan was expected to bring about 700 families to Seven Oaks.

The Central Security Service (CSS) is a combat support agency of the United States Department of Defense which was established in 1972 to integrate the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Service Cryptologic Components (SCC) of the United States Armed Forces in the field of signals intelligence, cryptology, and information assurance at the tactical level. In 2002, the CSS had approximately 25,000 uniformed members. It is part of the United States Intelligence Community.

The National Security Operations Center (NSOC) or Directorate K is the part of the United States National Security Agency responsible for current operations and time-sensitive signals intelligence (SIGINT) reporting for the United States SIGINT System (USSS). It is one of two centers watching; the other being Directorate V or the NTOC which assesses threats.

It is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by The Cordish Companies. It opened in 2012. The casino has over 3,900 slot machines and electronic table games, 189 live table games, and 52 poker tables. There is parking for 5,000 vehicles in a six-story parking garage. At 17 stories, the hotel is the tallest building in Anne Arundel County.

The Maryland Correctional Institution - Jessup is a medium security state prison for men located in Jessup, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It opened in 1981, first as an Annex to the state House of Correction and then as a separate facility, and holds a maximum of 1068 male inmates at medium security.The facility is immediately across the street from Jessup Correctional Institution (JCI) and Dorsey Run Correctional Facility (DRCF)

The Hall of Honor is a memorial at the National Security Agency headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland. It honors individuals who rendered distinguished service to American cryptology.

The National Cryptologic Museum (NCM) is an American museum of cryptologic history that is affiliated with the National Security Agency (NSA). The first public museum in the U.S. Intelligence Community, NCM is located in the former Colony Seven Motel, just two blocks from the NSA headquarters at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. The motel was purchased, creating a buffer zone between the high security main buildings of the NSA and an adjacent highway. The museum opened to the public on December 16, 1993, and now hosts about 50,000 visitors annually from all over the world. The NCM is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am–4pm (hours are extended Wednesdays to 7pm). It is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and all federal holidays, and operates on NSA's emergency/weather closure schedule (i.e. if NSA is closed, the museum is closed as well). The NCM includes a gift store whose operational hours coordinate with the museum's operational schedule (i.e., if the museum is closed altogether, opens late, or closes early, the gift shop does likewise) and an unclassified library with weekday-only operating hours that also represent the museum's weekday operational schedule. The library includes over a dozen boxes of the files of Herbert Yardley, declassified Enigma messages, technical reports, and books including how to crack the Data Encryption Standard using Deep Crack. The National Vigilance Park (NVP) was next to the museum, where three reconnaissance aircraft were displayed. A U.S. Army Beechcraft RU-8D Seminole reconnaissance plane represents the Army Airborne Signals Intelligence contribution in the Vietnam War. A Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport, modified to look like a reconnaissance-configured C-130A, memorialized a U.S. Air Force aircraft shot down over Soviet Armenia during the Cold War. Finally, the park also contained a U.S. Navy Douglas EA-3B Skywarrior, commemorating a mission in the Mediterranean on January 25, 1987, in which all seven crew members died.The NCM is open to the public, and admission is free. Donations to the NCM Foundation are accepted. Photography is allowed inside the museum but flash photography is prohibited due to the age of some of the artifacts. The museum temporarily closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Later in 2020, new museum director Vince Houghton used the opportunity to have the museum renovated. It reopened on October 8, 2022.

Joe Cannon Stadium is a baseball stadium in Hanover, Maryland. It is the home field of the Coppin State Eagles baseball team of the Division I Northeast Conference. It was also formerly the home field of the Baltimore Dodgers of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League, a collegiate summer baseball league. Joe Cannon Stadium also plays host to many high school and amateur league games. The stadium holds 1,500 spectators. It is named after former Laurel, Maryland resident M. Joseph Cannon, who had served as the first president of the Maryland City Little League, coordinated countless baseball tournaments, and was instrumental in unifying the Anne Arundel County youth football leagues.
