Black Creek Park

North Chili is a hamlet in Chili, Monroe County, New York, United States. The community is located at the intersection of New York State Route 33 and New York State Route 259, 10.3 miles (16.6 km) west-southwest of downtown Rochester.

Roberts Wesleyan University is a private Christian university in Rochester, New York. It was the first educational institution established for Free Methodists in North America. Roberts is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Garbuttsville Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at the hamlet of Garbutt in the town of Wheatland in Monroe County, New York. It is one of the earliest surviving cemeteries in Monroe County and is an intact country cemetery that reflects the history of the once thriving industrial hamlet of Garbuttsville (now Garbutt). It also illustrates the development patterns of small vernacular cemeteries through the 19th century and prevalent styles of modest and middle class grave monuments from that period. There are approximately 570 graves with most graves dating prior to 1920.John Garbutt (ca. 1779–1855) is buried in the cemetery. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Wheatland Center is the rural area in the Town of Wheatland surrounding the intersection of Wheatland Center and Scottsville-Mumford Roads. Once known as Hall's Corners, it today shows little evidence of its past.A wallboard plant mentioned in Carl F. Schmidt's 1953 book went out of business as a result of competition. The plant has been expanded and remodeled for use as a metals reclamation center, recovering silver from spent photographic materials.The area on the west side of Wheatland Center Road and between North and Scottsville-Mumford Roads once held houses and businesses. Today, there is nothing there but scrub land on the eastern side of the former gravel pit. The US Census Bureau does not maintain demographic data for Mumford.

Wheatland Baptist Cemetery, also known as Belcoda Cemetery, is a historic cemetery located at Belcoda in the town of Wheatland in Monroe County, New York. It is the earliest cemetery in the town of Wheatland and contains the graves of many of the earliest settlers and prominent residents of the town. It contains stones that date from 1811 to the present, ranging from simple carved early stones to more elaborate mid- and late-Victorian monuments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Oatka Creek Park, part of the Monroe County park system, lies near the center of the Town of Wheatland in New York. The park is bounded on the east by Union Street (County Road 170), the north by the tracks of the Rochester & Southern Railroad, and the west and south by Stewart Road. Immediately northeast of the park is the hamlet of Garbutt. The principal entrance at 9797 Union Street is an extension of Quaker Road and leads to the Oatka Lodge, the one significant man-made feature of the park. The remainder of the park is undeveloped, with former farm fields reverting to their natural state.Oatka Creek Park covers 461 acres (1.87 km2) along both banks of approximately one mile (1.6 km) of Oatka Creek. It is open to the public between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily in summer (reduced hours in winter), with a strict carry-in/carry-out rule to prevent the accumulation of garbage.It is home to the Caledonia-Mumford Red Raiders and the Wheatland-Chili Wildcats Cross Country teams.

Garbutt, New York is a hamlet located between the village of Scottsville and the hamlet of Mumford. It sits at the intersection of Scottsville-Mumford Road and Union Street in the Town of Wheatland in Monroe County, New York, United States. Garbutt grew rapidly through the mid-nineteenth century, but starting in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries the collapse of the local economy caused the population to severely decline.

Chili ( CHY-ly) is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 29,123 at the 2020 census. It is a suburb of the city of Rochester. The Town of Chili was established in 1822 from part of the Town of Riga. North Chili was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Black Creek Park is one of many parks in Chili where visitors can make use of nature trails that run along the creek.

David McVean House, also known as the McVean-Jones-Reeves House, is a historic home located at Scottsville in Monroe County, New York. It is a brick vernacular Federal-style house on a pargeted cut-stone foundation. The five-by-three-bay main block is two stories in height, while the rear wing is one and one-half stories.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

William Shirts House, also known as Camperdown Farm, is a historic home in Scottsville in Monroe County, New York. The vernacular Federal-style house was built about 1825. It is composed of a 2-story, four-by-two-bay, main block with a 2-story rear wing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Donald Mann House is a historic home located at Scottsville, Monroe County, New York. It was built about 1830, and is a two-story, Late Federal stone farmhouse with a 1+1⁄2-story side wing. It has a garage addition and stone porch (now enclosed) added about 1900. Also on the property is a contributing stone outbuilding.: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Riga Academy is a historic building located at Riga in Monroe County, New York. It was constructed in 1811 and is a two-story, five bay Federal style building. Built originally as a tavern and inn, it was converted for use as an academy in 1846. It was used as a school from 1847 to 1861, at which time it became a private residence.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
