Guggernell

The Guggernellgrat is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located south of Arosa in the canton of Graubünden.

The Plessur Alps are a mountain range in the Alps of eastern Switzerland. They are considered to be part of the Western Rhaetian Alps. They are named after the river Plessur, which originates from the center of the ranges. The Plessur Alps are separated from the Glarus Alps in the west by the Rhine valley; from the Rätikon range in the north by the Landquart river valley (Prättigau); from the Albula Alps in the south-east by the Landwasser river valley; from the Oberhalbstein Alps in the south by the Albula river valley. The Plessur Alps are drained by the rivers Rhine, Plessur, Landwasser and Landquart. The ski resort Arosa lies in the middle of the range. Peaks of the Plessur Alps are the Aroser Rothorn (highest, 2,985 m (9,793 ft)) and Stätzer Horn (2,576 m (8,451 ft)). A mountain pass in the Plessur Alps is the Strela Pass, from Davos to Langwies, elevation 2,377 m (7,799 ft).

The Älpliseehorn is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, located south of Arosa in Graubünden. It is part of the range east of the Aroser Rothorn. On the north side of the mountain lies the Älplisee.

Alvaneu (Romansh: Alvagni) is a former municipality in the district of Albula in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2015 the former municipalities of Alvaschein, Mon, Stierva, Tiefencastel, Alvaneu, Brienz/Brinzauls and Surava merged to form the new municipality of Albula/Alvra.On 20 March 2007 Peter Martin Wettler, a media expert and resident of Zurich was appointed Prince of Belfort by the village's authorities.

Schmitten (Romansh: Ferrera) is a municipality in the Albula Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

The Aroser Rothorn is the highest mountain of the Plessur Alps. It is located between Arosa and Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden and with a summit elevation of 2,980 metres above sea level. The summit lies near the Parpaner Rothorn, which is served by a cable car.

The Schmittentobel Viaduct (German: Schmittentobel-Viadukt) is a single track limestone railway viaduct. It is situated near Schmitten, in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The viaduct was opened in 1903 by the Rhaetian Railway, which still owns and uses it today. An important element of the World Heritage-listed Albula Railway, the viaduct is 35 metres (115 ft) high, 137 metres (449 ft) long, and has seven spans, each 15 metres (49 ft) in length.

The Landwasser Viaduct (German: Landwasserviadukt) is a single-track six-arched curved limestone railway viaduct. It spans the Landwasser between Schmitten and Filisur, in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Designed by Alexander Acatos, the Landwasser Viaduct was constructed between 1901 and 1902 by Müller & Zeerleder on behalf of the Rhaetian Railway, which both owns and operates it through to the present day. A signature structure of the World Heritage-listed Albula Railway, it is 65 metres (213 ft) high, 136 metres (446 ft) long; its southeastern abutment connects directly to the Landwasser Tunnel. During 2009, the Landwasser Viaduct underwent renovation work for the first time since its original construction.

The Parpaner Rothorn is a mountain of the Plessur Alps, overlooking Parpan in the canton of Graubünden. The summit is easily accessible with a cable car from Lenzerheide, the upper station being located 30 metres below the main summit.

Filisur railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Filisur, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Albula and Davos Platz–Filisur lines of the Rhaetian Railway. Hourly services operate on both lines. There are currently three platforms in use at Filisur station. From the direction of Chur, the line passes through Thusis and Tiefencastel. It then crosses two of the Rhaetian Railway's major railway bridges before arriving in Filisur: the Schmittentobel Viaduct, and the Landwasser Viaduct. On the Davos to Filisur line, trains from Davos similarly cross the Wiesen Viaduct just before entering Filisur.

Greifenstein Castle is a ruined castle in the municipality of Filisur of the Canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is included on the register of the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance.

Arosa Lenzerheide is a ski area located in Arosa, Lenzerheide, Valbella, Parpan and Churwalden, Graubünden/Switzerland. It originated 2013/14 by connecting the existing ski areas of Arosa and Lenzerheide. With a total of 225 kilometers (140 miles) of ski slopes and 43 cable cars it is the largest contiguous ski area in Graubünden.
