Washington–Grizzly Stadium

Dahlberg Arena is a 7,321-seat multi-purpose arena in the western United States, located on the campus of the University of Montana in Missoula. The arena opened in 1953 and is home to the Montana Grizzlies and Lady Griz basketball teams. It has hosted the Big Sky Conference men's basketball tournament five times: 1978, 1991, 1992, 2000, and 2012. Opened in late 1953, the field house was named for newly retired track coach Harry Adams in June 1966. In the 1980s, Adams Field House seated over 9,000 and was known as the toughest arena for visiting teams in the Big Sky due to its belligerent crowd and (at one time) tartan flooring, and also enjoyed a national reputation. Its laminated wood arches were constructed in Portland, Oregon. The elevation of the floor is approximately 3,200 feet (980 m) above sea level. Alumnus George P. (Jiggs) Dahlberg was head coach of the Grizzlies from 1937 to 1955 and retired as athletic director in 1961. He was one of four brothers known as "The Four Norseman of Butte" who competed in athletics for the Griz.The arena can be configured to seat 5,500 people for a traditionally staged concert or can use all of the seats for a concert with a central stage. It has hosted many concerts, including Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead, Gym Class Heroes, Rascal Flatts, and Macklemore.

The University of Montana Herbarium is a herbarium located at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. It is open by appointment only. The herbarium contains over 129,000 plant specimens, and is the world's largest and finest collection of Northern Rocky Mountains flora. Its primary mission is to collect and preserve specimens from the Western Cordillera and Great Plains but collections span a wider taxonomic and geographic range. About 60% of the 120,000 vascular plant specimens are from Montana itself, a state with diverse plant communities, including Great Plains prairies, Great Basin sagebrush steppes, boreal forests, Northern Rockies alpine communities, and the eastern limit of the moist conifer forests of the Pacific Northwest. The non-Montana collections include many duplicate specimens from Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Nevada. The herbarium has a rich history, and its vascular plant collection represents over 100 years of botanical research in Montana, with hundreds of specimens from important early collectors, including C. Bessey, F. D. Kelsey, Marcus Jones and W. N. Suksdorf. That said, however, its greatest strength lies in more recent collections. Over 20,000 (28%) of the Montana vascular plant specimens were collected in the past 30 years by Prof. Klaus Lackschewitz or Peter Lesica. These newer specimens have location data accurate to the nearest square mile, making them a particularly useful resource for ecological and biogeographical studies.

The Montana Museum of Art & Culture, or the MMAC, is a University of Montana art museum in Missoula, Montana with a collection of over 11,000 objects, many of which are of the contemporary American West.

The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library is the campus library at the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. Completed 46 years ago in 1978 on the east side of campus, the five-story library was funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. In 1979, it was dedicated to Ambassador Mike Mansfield (1903–2001) and his wife Maureen. Previously a four-term U.S. Senator, alumnus Mansfield was the Senate's longest-serving majority leader (1961–1977). The library is home to the earliest authorized edition of the Lewis and Clark journals.

The William J. Jameson Law Library is the library of the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana in Missoula. It is 20,060 square feet (1,864 m2) in size and is the only academic law library in the state of Montana.

One alumnus, Harold Urey, has won the Nobel Prize.

The W.A. Franke College of Forestry & Conservation, formerly the University of Montana College of Forestry and Conservation, is a college within the University of Montana. It was created by an act of the Thirteenth Montanan Legislative Assembly in 1913 to meet the great and growing demand on the part of lumber companies, large timber holding corporations, and the national and state governments.

Founded in 1918, the University of Montana College of Business is the oldest AACSB-accredited business school in Montana. The college tied for best business school in the Big Sky Conference in U.S. News & World Report's 2020 rankings. The UM College of Business has earned at least a share of the top spot in the Big Sky Conference for four consecutive years. This ranking made it the top-rated business school in Montana.The College of Business focuses on applied, experiential education by having students participate in hands-on business projects. Specific attention is given to professional networking. Over one hundred business professionals come to the Gallagher Business Building each year to share their knowledge through formal lectures and to talk with and recruit students. The college's Gianchetta Student Success Center offers an internship coordinator, adviser, career services, and other support structures to foster student success. Student organizations and study abroad opportunities in the college give students the chance to connect with peers and engage with the wider world in a variety of ways.
