Ferpècle Glacier

The Mont Miné Glacier (French: Glacier du Mont Miné) is a 7.9 km (4.9 mi) long glacier (2005) in the Pennine Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 11 km2 (4.2 sq mi).

The Dent Blanche Hut (French: Cabane de la Dent Blanche or Cabane Rossier) is a mountain hut of the Swiss Alpine Club, located south of Les Haudères in the canton of Valais. The hut lies at a height of 3,507 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Dent Blanche in the Pennine Alps. The hut, located at the upper end of the valley of Hérens near the watershed with the valley of Zermatt, overlooks the Ferpècle Glacier. All accesses to the hut involve glacier crossing.

The Wandfluehorn is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located between Les Haudères and Zermatt in the canton of Valais. It lies south of the Dent Blanche. While the western side is flat and covered by the Ferpècle Glacier, the eastern side consists of a 600 metres cliff named Wandflue.

Tête Blanche (lit. White Head, from French) is a mountain of the Pennine Alps on the Swiss-Italian border. Its summit (3,710 metres) is the tripoint between the valleys of Hérens, Mattertal (both in Valais) and Valpelline (in the Aosta Valley), thus forming the linguistic tri-point between French, German, and Italian-speaking areas. Tête Blanche is generally the high point of the Haute route between Chamonix and Zermatt and the annually race Patrouille des Glaciers. Tête Blanche lies within a few kilometres of the Matterhorn and Dent d'Hérens on the east.

The Pointe de Bricola is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located south of Les Haudères in the canton of Valais. The east side is covered by the Moiry Glacier.

The Dents de Bertol are a multi-summited mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located south of the Col de Bertol in the canton of Valais. The main summit has an elevation of 3,547 metres (11,637 ft).

The Pointe des Genevois is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking Arolla in the canton of Valais. It lies just south of the higher summit of the Dent de Perroc.

The Pointe de Bertol (3,499 m) is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, located south of Arolla in the canton of Valais. Its southern side overlooks the Bertol Pass. The Bertol Hut (3,311 m) is located at the southern base of the peak.

The Grand Cornier is a 3,962 m (12,999 ft) mountain in the Pennine Alps in Switzerland. It lies 2 km (1.2 mi) north from the Dent Blanche. The first ascent of the mountain was made via the east ridge by Edward Whymper, Christian Almer, Michel Croz and F. Biner on 16 June 1865. The Mountet hut (2,886 m (9,469 ft)) and Moiry hut (2,825 m (9,268 ft)) are used for the normal ascent routes.

The Pointes de Mourti are a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking the glacier of Moiry in the canton of Valais. They lie north of the Pointe de Bricola, on the range that separates the valley of Hérens from the valley of Moiry (part of the Anniviers valley). The (main) eastern summit has an elevation of 3,564 metres while the western summit has an elevation of 3,529 metres. The closest locality is Salay on the west side of the mountain, although the Pointes du Mourti are usually climbed from the Moiry hut on their eastern side.

The Bertol Hut (French: Cabane de Bertol) is a mountain hut overlooking the Bertol Pass, south of Arolla in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is known for its precarious position on a ridge at 3,311 metres (10,863 ft) south of the Pointe de Bertol and is accessed by a number of fixed ladders and chains from the glacier pass (3,268 m). All accesses to the hut involve glacier crossing. On its east side it overlooks the large plateau of the Mont Miné Glacier. The Bertol Hut is situated on the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt. Nearby peaks include the Dent Blanche, Aiguille de la Tsa and Tête Blanche.

The Grande Dent de Veisivi is a mountain of the Swiss Pennine Alps, overlooking Les Haudères in the canton of Valais. Nearby is the Petite Dent de Veisivi.
