Albany Rural Cemetery

St. Agnes Cemetery, established in 1867, is a 108-acre (44 ha) Roman Catholic cemetery operated for the purposes of the Roman Catholic Church through the burial and place of memorial for the faithful departed. Located in Menands, New York, St. Agnes is one of the New York Capital Region's most active cemeteries. St. Agnes Cemetery is managed and cared for by Albany Diocesan Cemeteries. Consecrated in 1867, St. Agnes Cemetery displays the characteristics of the rural cemetery movement. Like other landscapes of this genre, St. Agnes Cemetery was designed to portray order, symmetry, and peace. As places to stroll and meditate in a tranquil setting, rural cemeteries were precursors to public parks. The history of the Capital Region is written on the memorials which dot the hills and glens of St. Agnes Cemetery. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The George Trimble House in Colonie in Albany County, New York. It was built in 1909 and is a 1+1⁄2-story stucco house in the Arts and Crafts style. It has a gable roof and a large shed dormer across the rear elevation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Louis Menand House is a historic home located at Menands, New York in Albany County, New York. It is a two-story, Queen Anne style farmhouse with a cross gable roof and central chimney. The rear section was built about 1840 and the front section in 1881. It features fishscale shingles on the gable ends. Also on the property are a contributing garage, three sheds, and the foundation of a greenhouse. It is located near the entrance to the Albany Rural Cemetery and St. Agnes Cemetery. The surrounding area was designated the Menand Park Historic District in 1985. A descendant of the original owner is American writer and academic Louis Menand. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.The building and 3 ½ acres was purchased by St. Agnes Cemetery in 2016. It now serves as the central administrative office of Albany Diocesan Cemeteries.

Henry M. Sage Estate, also known as "Fernbrook," is a historic estate home located at Menands in Albany County, New York. The main house was built in the 1890s and remodeled in 1920. It is an asymmetrical three-story, Georgian Revival style mansion sheathed in limestone. It has a hipped roof and dormers. It features a large, two-story, pedimented portico supported by four Ionic order columns. Also on the property are a carriage barn and caretaker's cottage dated to the 1890s. The estate was bequeathed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute by Cornelia Cogswell Sage, widow of Henry M. Sage. She retained use of the property until her death in 1972. The estate was costly to maintain so the Institute sold the property in 1973 to Albany International Corporation.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Menands Manor is a historic home located at Colonie in Albany County, New York, United States. The original house was built before 1840 with major additions and alterations in 1877 in the Stick / Eastlake style. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, U-shaped brick building. It features a multi-gabled slate roof, two 3-story corner towers with pyramidal roofs and wrought iron cresting, and a 2-story porch across the front elevation. A 2-story brick addition was completed in the 1920s. The original house was converted for use by the Home for Aged Men in 1877. In 1982, it housed the Home for Aged Men & Women.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Menand Park Historic District is a national historic district located in the village of Menands in Albany County, New York. It includes 21 contributing buildings; all are residences. The district encompasses an unusual collection of bungalows and Prairie Style houses designed in the period from 1913 to 1925. Most of them have low sloping roofs with wide overhangs and exposed rafters, recessed porches supported by massive brick or cobblestone piers, and cobblestone or stucco coated chimneys.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Henry-Remsen House was a historic home located at Colonie in Albany County, New York. It was an example of a Greek Revival–style farmhouse. The earliest portion of the house, a 1+1⁄2-story ell, was built between about 1830 and 1850. The main structure was two stories with a pedimented gable roof. Other additions were completed between 1860 and the 1920s. Also on the property was a contributing barn. It is no longer extant; it has been dismantled.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Connors Park is a baseball venue in Loudonville, New York, United States. It is home to the Siena Saints baseball team of the NCAA Division I Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The field has been home to Siena's baseball program since its inception in the 1950s. It seats 500 spectators. Features include chairback seating, a team clubhouse, and brick dugouts. Plassman Hall, a Siena dormitory, is visible beyond the center field fence, while J. Spencer and Patricia Standish Library stands beyond the right field fence.
