Sunnyside is an unincorporated community in Bay County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. Sunnyside is located along State Road 30 (former US 98 Alternate) west of Laguna Beach and Santa Monica, and east of Riviera Beach.

Laguna Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bay County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,932 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Panama City–Lynn Haven–Panama City Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area. Laguna Beach was named for the many coastal dune lakes unique to this area of Northwest Florida.

The Latimer Cabin is a historic site in Panama City Beach, Florida. It is located at the northeast shore of Powell Lake. On September 15, 2004, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Camp Helen State Park is a Florida State Park and historic site located west of Panama City Beach, in northwestern Florida. The park is south of U.S. 98, and bounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell (one of the largest coastal dune lakes in the state). The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 24, 2012.

Frank Brown Park is a 200-acre (0.81 km2) outdoor recreation facility in Panama City Beach, Florida. The park hosts various sporting events throughout the year, and has facilities available for public use.

Inlet Beach is located in south Walton and Bay Counties in Florida, with the western most side being Bay County at the state park. Inlet Beach is the most eastern South Walton County beach and is named after Phillips Inlet. The use of the name Inlet Beach antedates World War II.Much of the land was distributed through a lottery system to World War II veterans, and was sometimes known as "Soldiers Beach" or "Veterans Beach".

Rosemary Beach is an unincorporated planned community in Walton County, Florida, United States on a beach side road, CR 30A, on the Gulf Coast. Rosemary Beach is developed on land originally part of the older Inlet Beach neighborhood. The town was founded in 1995 by Patrick D. Bienvenue, President of Leucadia Financial Corporation, and was designed by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company. The town is approximately 105 acres (0.42 km2) and, upon completion, included more than 400 home sites and a mixed-use town center with shops, restaurants, and activities. The design of the town reflects the French Quarter in New Orleans. Rosemary Beach was named after Rosemary Milligan, a realtor and entrepreneur, who inhabited the area since 1974 and owned much of the land that is now Rosemary Beach before selling the property to developers. The town is also rumored to be named after the fresh rosemary growing in the area.

Pier Park is a lifestyle center in Panama City Beach, Florida. It opened in 2008 and features Dillard's, J. C. Penney, and Target as anchor stores. In the late 1990s to early 2000s there was talks about an outdoor shopping complex in Panama City Beach that would be adjacent to the Gulf Front with retail stores, dining options, and a movie theatre. The Pier Park project officially broke ground in 2002 with a 5 to 6 year timeline for completion. It neared completion in late 2007 for a Spring 2008 opening date. Pier Park officially opened on February 14, 2008.!! Among the first stores to open were anchor stores including a Dillard's, J. C. Penney, and Target, all of which are still in operation. Other tenants include Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, Marble Slab Creamery, Old Navy, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Victoria's Secret and Dick's Last Resort, and a movie theater owned by Southern Theatres, The Grand 16, which features IMAX 3D as well as RealD 3D. Forever 21 opened in the former Borders Bookstore, which closed with the rest of the chain in 2011.On January 21, 2021, Nike Factory Outlet closed its location at Pier Park. The opening of Pier Park led to many other developments in the area, including a Walmart store, an adjacent strip mall called Pier Park West, and a second shopping center complex called Pier Park North. Pier Park West contains GameStop, Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Jimmy John's, and Chipotle. Pier Park North, completed in 2015, is home to Bealls Outlet, Five Below, Dick's Sporting Goods, Ross Dress For Less, The Fresh Market, Petsmart, Cost Plus World Market, Bed Bath & Beyond, Rooms To Go, Chili's, Texas Roadhouse, Wayback Burgers, and Jersey Mike's Subs. A fourth development Pier Park East is in the works to include an extension of the current Pier Park with more retail, an indoor family entertainment center, a hotel and residential units, although construction has yet to begin. As of 2022, there has been no further announcement regarding this project with some speculation as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic putting this project to a halt.

Gulf World Marine Park is a dolphinarium located in Panama City Beach, Florida. It has been open since 1970, and is one of only a few institutes in the United States to house rough-toothed dolphins.

Alys Beach is an unincorporated planned community in Walton County, Florida, United States directly off of CR 30A, on the Gulf Coast. Alys Beach plan was designed by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company. The village is approximately 158 acres (0.64 km2).It was named after Alys Stephens (died 2004), the wife of Elton B. Stephens, who purchased the land in the 1970s and began developing the land in 2004.All of the houses are required to have a white color.

Seacrest and Seacrest Beach are communities located along County Road 30A in the Florida Panhandle. They are located at the eastern end of scenic highway 30A. Following the development of adjacent Alys Beach, the Seacrest Beach community is split into two geographic areas. The eastern side of Seacrest Beach borders Rosemary Beach and the western side borders WaterSound Beach. Recreational opportunities at the beach community include fishing, kayaking, swimming, golfing, and beachgoing. The nearby coastal dune lake, Camp Creek, offers hiking and bird watching.

J. R. Arnold High School is a public high school open in Panama City Beach, Florida, United States. Serving grades 9 through 12, it is part of the Bay District Schools. Its school mascot is the Marlin.
