The Munsey Trust Building was a historic high-rise office building located in Washington, D.C., United States, on E Street, N.W., between 13th and 14th Streets (adjacent to the National Theatre in the nation's capital city).

Harris & Ewing Photographic Studio is an historic structure located in downtown Washington, D.C. It was built in 1924 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Garfinckel's was a prominent department store chain based in Washington, D.C. that catered to a clientele of wealthy consumers. Its flagship store at 14th and F in the city's F Street shopping district is listed on the National Register. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 1990 and ceased operations that year.

The Willard InterContinental Washington, commonly known as the Willard Hotel, is a historic luxury Beaux-Arts hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Downtown Washington, D.C. Among its facilities are numerous luxurious guest rooms, several restaurants, the famed Round Robin Bar, the Peacock Alley series of luxury shops, and voluminous function rooms. Owned jointly by Carr Companies and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, it is two blocks east of the White House, and two blocks west of the Metro Center station of the Washington Metro.

The National Theatre in the United States is located in downtown Washington, D.C., just east of the White House, and functions as a venue for live stage productions with seating for 1,676. Despite its name, it is not a governmentally funded national theatre, but operated by a private, non-profit organization.

The Brownley Confectionery Building is an historic structure located in Downtown Washington, D.C. The architectural firm of Porter & Lockie designed the building, which is one of the last Art Deco commercial buildings in the downtown area. The limestone façade features aluminum spandrel panels. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Freedom Plaza, originally known as Western Plaza, is an open plaza in Northwest Washington, D.C., United States, located near 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, adjacent to Pershing Park. The plaza features an inlay that partially depicts Pierre (Peter) Charles L'Enfant's plan for the City of Washington. The National Park Service administers the Plaza as part of its Pennsylvania Avenue National Historic Site and coordinates the Plaza's activities.The John A. Wilson Building, the seat of the District of Columbia government, faces the plaza, as does the historic National Theatre, which has been visited by every U.S. president since it opened in 1835. Three large hotels are to the north and west. The Old Post Office building, which houses the Trump International Hotel, is to the southeast.

American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) is a membership association of almost 10,000 professionals in the United States sponsoring conferences and providing professional services primarily to those who study the implementation of government policy, public administration, and, to a lesser degree, programs of civil society. Its annual conference is an important meeting for those interested in bureaucracy, civic engagement, program evaluation, public management and other public administration topics, such as budgeting and budget theory, government strategic planning, policy analysis, contract administration, personnel management, and related topics. American Society for Public Administration was founded in 1939, following growing concerns about the management of federal government and the report of the Brownlow Committee. It was formally incorporated on September 13, 1945.American Society for Public Administration owns the journals Public Administration Review and Public Integrity and sponsors several others via its subject-matter Sections, including Journal of Health and Human Services Administration, Public Budgeting and Finance, and others.

The Sun Building (also known as the Baltimore Sun Building or American Bank Building) is an historic building, located at 1317 F Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Downtown Washington, D.C. neighborhood.

Federal-American National Bank is an historic structure located in Downtown Washington, D.C. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

The Westory Building is an historic structure located in Downtown Washington, D.C. It was listed on both the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites and on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. The building was designed by architect Henry L.A. Jekel and built between 1907–1908. The present structure includes an expansion of the original structure. The expansion was designed by Shalom Baranes Associates and completed in 1990. The building is now twelve-stories above ground rising to a height of 155.62 feet (47 m). It also has three-stories below ground.

The Church of the Epiphany, built in 1844, is an historic Episcopal church located at 1317 G Street, N.W., in Washington, D.C. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 10, 1971. The parish had been organized in 1842, and the new building consecrated in 1852. During the next five years, a tower, transepts and chancel were added. In 1858, the congregation established the Epiphany Church home to help the poor and sick. The American Civil War split the congregation. As Senator, Jefferson Davis had rented pew no. 14, and three of his children were confirmed at the church. After secession, when Davis moved to Richmond, Virginia and became the Confederacy's president, that pew was rented by Secretary of War Edwin Stanton. On March 6, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln attended the funeral of General Frederick Lander at this church, which also served as a hospital between May and December of that year.
