Elfin Oak

The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground is a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales in Kensington Gardens, in The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London. It was erected after her death at a cost of £1.7 million on the site of the existing Peter Pan children's playground which had been founded in the time of JM Barrie (author of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens), but it is larger and more elaborate than the original. The design, by Land use consultants, was inspired by Barrie's Peter Pan. Its most prominent feature is a full-scale wooden pirate ship which serves as a climbing area for children, and is surrounded by sand in which they can play. Other features include slides, swings, and an area designed for those with disabilities, including fragrant plants and sound features (for those with visual disabilities). The playground is an example of a "natural play" concept, designed to stimulate children's imagination, sense of adventure, and to encourage them to challenge their physical and mental powers. It is at the north western corner of Kensington Gardens, in sight of the Princess's former residence at Kensington Palace. It is adjacent to the Broad Walk of Kensington Gardens.

The Hilton London Hyde Park\is a hotel situated on Bayswater Road, overlooking Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in central London. It was opened in July 1999. The building was originally the Coburg Court Hotel, first opened in 1907, and it was later renamed the Coburg Hotel in the early 1960s.The Coburg Hotel was used as a filming location in Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy (1972). Richard Blaney and Babs Milligan check into the Coburg as "Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Wilde". Filming took place at the hotel in September 1971. The interiors of the Coburg Hotel were mostly recreated at Pinewood Studios, except for the policemen's point-of-view shot showing the fire escape, which was filmed by assistant director Colin M. Brewer from a fifth-floor room.

Queensway is a London Underground station on the Central line in Bayswater, just inside the boundary of the City of Westminster with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is at the junction of Queensway and Bayswater Road, and is opposite the north-west corner of Kensington Gardens. It is between Notting Hill Gate to the west and Lancaster Gate to the east, and is in Travelcard Zone 1.

Park Modern is an under construction £450m mixed use development in Queensway, London, overlooking Kensington Gardens, at 117-125 Bayswater Road. Construction will start in October 2018, once demolition of an existing hostel is complete, and will take three years. The 190,000 sq ft development will include 57 flats, priced from £2 to £30 million.The developer is Fenton Whelan. The development has attracted controversy for it lack of affordable housing.

Ivy Cottage is a house in the grounds of Kensington Palace in London, England. It is a grace-and-favour property, originally housing servants. Princess Eugenie, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, resided in the cottage from April 2018 to November 2020. It is close to Nottingham Cottage, the former home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Lansdowne College was a mixed independent school, mainly specialising in sixth form courses. It was situated in Bayswater in the City of Westminster, England. Lansdowne was registered with the DfE and, since joining the ISA in July 2014, was inspected by ISI. Their last inspection was in 2014 and the report declared that "[Students'] learning skills and their attitudes to work are excellent throughout the college. They are single-minded and purposeful and focus clearly on the specific academic goals they have set themselves. Students from many cultural backgrounds support each other strongly, and an atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect pervades the college."It had been located in the centre of London opposite Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens after having moved from the original premises in a majestic building on the south side of the Gardens at 9 Palace Gate near the top of Gloucester Road and well-known for offering a highly successful LLB law London University External, now International program course. Lansdowne provided one and two-year A level and GCSE courses for students aged 14 to 19 and a one-year NCUK International Foundation Year for students aged 17 to 19. The primary aim of the college's students was to progress to Higher Education (HE) with destinations including Imperial College, UCL, and the universities of Bristol, Birmingham, Warwick, Leeds, Manchester and Queen Mary . The school most recently had 230 students enrolled with two thirds being British students and the remaining one third from more than twenty different countries. The school offerered nearly 30 A-Level subjects and twelve GCSE subjects. The last college principal was Mark Love. Lansdowne College closed in 2017.

Wren House is a house in the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. Wren House has been occupied by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, one of Queen Elizabeth II's cousins, since 1978.When Kensington Palace was made the Royal Residence, architect Christopher Wren was tasked to expand the existing structure. He added a cluster of cottages that included: Wren House; Ivy Cottage, the former home of Princess Eugenie of York; and Nottingham Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Nottingham Cottage (nicknamed "Nott Cott") is a house in the grounds of Kensington Palace in London. As a grace-and-favour property, the house has been frequently occupied by members of the British royal family, as well as staff and employees.

1–2 Orme Square is a Grade II listed pair of houses in Orme Square, Bayswater, London, W2.The houses were built in the early-19th century and according to rate books No.1 was first occupied in 1826, along with No.3 to the east, followed by No.2 in 1827.There is an LCC plaque on number 1 to Sir Rowland Hill, (1795–1879), postal reformer, who lived there from 1839 to 1842, while he was introducing the penny post.No 2 was the home of George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, and his son, David Lascelles, 8th Earl of Harewood, who was born there. When the 7th Earl divorced his wife, Marion Stein, in 1967 the house passed to her for her lifetime. When she married Liberal politician Jeremy Thorpe, it became their London home until Marion's death in March 2014.

Kensington Park School is a coeducational independent day and boarding school located in London, England.The lower school for pupils aged 11 to 16 is situated in the Bayswater area of the City of Westminster, while the sixth form is located in nearby South Kensington. in 2020 Chelsea Independent College in Fulham formally merged with Kensington Park School.
